canon_rf50_f1-8stmCanon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM

Pros: Lightweight and always sharp.

Cons: For the price I don't know, maybe I would have preferred a 9-blade diaphragm.

Opinion: I have had and used the EF STM version on the 70D, 6DII and the current R with the adapter and it was simply unique in value for money. I find this RF much sharper at maximum aperture and well contrasted. Considering that it costs twice as much as the EF analogue, I would have preferred a 9-blade diaphragm for a softer blur, but all in all I'm quite happy with it. I definitely recommend it to all amateur photographers who are not too demanding. Those who love this focal length and have the economic possibility, can definitely opt for the more expensive and heavier f/1.2 L version. For me it deserves a 9.

canon_rf100-400_f8isCanon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM

Pros: Lightness and stabilization.

Cons: A lens with two souls. Good with relatively close subjects, bad a little further away.

Opinion: Lens that reminds me in all respects of the Canon EF-S 55-250 IS STM on the 70D, with the difference that the 55-250 cost a joke, even if it didn't have a metal bayonet, but it was always razor-sharp and a brighter full stop. The 100-400 is good if the subjects are relatively close, beyond that it is better to forget about the detail (will it be my specimen?). For the sporadic use I make of it, I'll make it suffice. It's dark, but you know when you're going to buy it, so this feature cannot, in fact, be counted among the defects. On the other hand, landscapes, the main reason why I took it months ago, are shot at fairly small apertures or on tripods. Honestly I'd prefer the optical performance of the 100-500, but (FOR ME) it weighs a lot of weight. So long live the lightness that combined with the rather sporadic use I make of the focal ones, will be a lens that will accompany me for a long time, contenting me with its optimal range of use. Would I buy it again ? Maybe yes, maybe no, but lightness always wins for me.

canon_rf35_macroCanon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM

Pros: Discreet, razor-sharp, light, compact and fuzzy, soft and "creamy".

Cons: For what it costs, it has no flaws. They could have put a gasket on the coupling, but that's not a problem either.

Opinion: A lens that literally captivates me. I took it on a cruise trip and in the various places visited I used almost only it (and the 70-210), being for me a really all-rounder. Essentially distortion-free and very sharp even at full aperture, it's a pleasure to use on any occasion. The semi-macro reproduction ratio is superb, making it an even more versatile lens. Since I got it, about 5 months ago, the 24-105, although more versatile and abundantly satisfying, is in fact resting. Optically very close to the RF 85 f/2.0 which I consider an L series, no ifs or buts. I regret not buying it sooner. Unbeatable value for money, for me it is passed with flying colors.

canon_rf85_f2macroCanon RF 85mm f/2 Macro IS STM

Pros: Optical performance, minimum maf distance and very effective stabilizer.

Cons: STM motor not on par with the superb optical quality of the lens.

Opinion: A lens that I have been using for a few months with great satisfaction, especially in portraiture. It's so sharp already at TA that, especially in portraits, it is not advisable to close the aperture even a little so as not to have excessive sharpness and micro contrast. Had it had a state-of-the-art USM engine and a couple of gaskets, it could easily have been equipped with the famous red ring that distinguishes the L series. One of mine or perhaps my absolute favorite lens, at least among the ones I have used and own.

canon_rf16_f2-8stmCanon RF 16mm f/2.8 STM

Pros: Economical, bright and compact.

Cons: To have sharpness at the edges you must close the diaphragm by at least 2 stops.

Opinion: Some time ago I sold the 16-35 f/4 L IS because, in fact, I used it very little. A real best buy, unbeatable for quality / price ratio. With the 24-105 I did and I do almost everything and that's why I sold the 16-35. Either I brought him or I carried 24-105. Passed from the 6DII to the EOS R, I still felt the lack of a super wide-angle focal length that this fantastic 16mm has given me back and that given its compactness, now I always carry with me. It certainly does not shine like the 16-35, but it still gives good satisfaction, especially if you do not have professional and mounted needs, it is almost like not having given it its featherweight. Given its overall characteristics, including flaws, for me it deserves a nice 9 thanks to its portability. If it doesn't fit in my bag because maybe I put something else in it, then I put it in my pocket and it's always with me.

canon_6d_mark_iiCanon 6D Mark II

Pros: Ergonomics, solidity, touch rotatable screen, high iso hold and battery life. Easy, intuitive.

Cons: Focus points concentrated in the center of the frame.

Opinion: After about two years of use, I tell my experience. My first full frame that really made me enter another dimension than the 70D I came from. I chose it precisely because it actually shared the camera body and function keys, a perfect replica, but in FF format. Color depth in the first place, feeling of three-dimensionality of the photos and high iso are the first things that made me notice and appreciate the qualitative leap compared to the 70D. Workable files the right and even something more, even if I'm not a lover of extreme recoveries. If a photo is bad, it is deleted, you do not recover 4 or 5 stops to release photos that look like frames out of cartoons (at least this is my philosophy and my tastes). Lately I've used it quite a bit in portraiture combined with the Canon EF 100 f/2. Well in this situation I found it difficult to shoot from the viewfinder to focus on the eyes, because of the focus points too concentrated in the center of the frame and for this I used it as a real mirrorless, always shooting from the display where the AF coverage is respectable and the precision of the focus impeccable. I sold it to monetize the purchase of the Canon EOS R that I have owned for a few days and with which I am trying to become familiar, since the ergonomics are completely different. Given today's purchase price, I definitely recommend it to those who make the jump from an aps-c, have no pretensions to a speed machine and do not like extreme recoveries.

canon_100_f2Canon EF 100mm f/2.0 USM

Pros: Sharpness already at TA, light, progression and softness of the blurred.

Cons: They no longer produce it. It is addictive.

Opinion: Approaching the genre of portraiture and hearing about it only well, I took this lens used. Well, I regret not taking it earlier, years ago. Every file it produces is, at least for me, a marvel. Sharp, fast and always precise maf whether you shoot from the eyepiece or in live view, it makes you want to use it almost always all open, so much is the beauty of the blurred and the feeling of three-dimensionality that gives to the shots. I cannot add anything else that has not already been said. It's just a shame that it's no longer in production. For me I vote 10 laude.

tamron_70-210_f4vcTamron 70-210mm f/4 Di VC USD

Pros: Sharpness, blurry, colors (whatever you say), build quality, price.

Cons: MAF speed not suitable for very fast subjects. A little heavy.

Opinion: Portraits (despite only f/4) and landscapes are his bread. Excellent even in close ups (closed by at least one stop), given the magnification of almost 1:3 at the minimum focus distance. What to say, I was very tempted by the Canon 70-200 f/4 L IS II, but coming back from other recent purchases, I didn't want to spend too much and I was still discovered canvas side having switched to FF. Documenting myself on this Tamron, hearing about it only well and overcoming the distrust towards the brand, also given by the bad experience with the 70-300 "WC", I decided to "try my luck" (I only own original optics). What about, for my photographic genres, never money was better spent. The 70-210 is always sharp (sometimes too much), at every focal and opening and from angle to corner. Only at the maximum focal point is there a very slight drop that, especially in portraiture, I consider more a value than a defect. Another great value for me is the quality of the blurry and the detachment of the floors that he manages to give to my shots. I highly recommend it to those who do not have lightning autofocus needs, do not want to spend too much, but at the same time do not want to give up quality. For optical performance I consider it fully superimposed on the canon f/4 IS counterpart before version that I had the opportunity to try several times. Fully satisfied. Vote 9.5.

amazonbasics_borsa_grande_reflexAmazonBasics - Borsa grande per fotocamera e accessori

Pros: Well made and capacious just the right, but it depends on the needs.

Cons: Unbearable squeak of the strap hooks.

Opinion: Good bag, good padding. For my needs, despite being called "big", it turned out to be a little small and for this reason I ordered a Mantona New York. I recommend it to those who have mirrorless and small optics. The 70-210 f/4, for example, only enters tilted and steals valuable space. I'm going to keep it for targeted outings where I'm not going to have to take anything but a couple of goals and the flash.

canon_24-105stmCanon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM

Pros: All for what it costs.

Cons: Slight "game" of the barrel.

Opinion: Taken used, but kept as new by a Juzaforum user, it turned out to be a surprising lens for price/performance ratio (it's worth everything it costs even taken new). I use it with great satisfaction on the 6DII. I honestly did not expect such uniformity of yield and sharpness to all diaphragms and focals, most likely A perfect copy will have happened to me. In landscape I find it only slightly lower as yield at 16-35 f/4L, which is all to say for a kit lens. Automatic MAF very fast, without hesitation and absolutely silent, therefore perfect for those who make videos. The only adjective that perfectly describes this lens is "amazing"." Vote 9, but only for the slight "game" of the barrel, an indication of an "economic" construction, but that does not affect its general yield in the slightest. I highly recommend it to those who, like me, own a FF reflex with a sensor not particularly demanding as the 6D and 6DII are.

canon_40Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM

Pros: So small and light that it looks like a cap. Metal bayonet, sharpness to all diaphragms, cheap.

Cons: Nothing for what it costs.

Opinion: Great for landscapes, for my tastes a little less in portraiture where I find the 50STM better, but having said that, even in this field it defends itself well. It transforms the 6DII into a lightweight compact and returns always noteworthy results regarding the uniformity of the yield from corner to corner (which is not so obvious on a lens of this price range). Together with the 24STM I used on the 70D and the 50STM that I still use with satisfaction, for me it represents another small wonder by Canon, with a decidedly unbeatable quality /price ratio. At this price, parameters such as the speed of AF not lightning, but more than fast enough and the lack of stabilizer can not be considered defects, given the philosophy with which this beautiful lens was built. Vote 10.

canon_16-35_f4isCanon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM

Pros: Everything, even the price.

Cons: Honestly no one.

Opinion: Super wide-angle lens with amazing performance to say the least that I use on 6DII with immense satisfaction. Sharp angle to angle at any iris and focal length value with very low distortions and equipped with a very efficient stabilizer (maybe not 4 stops, but 2.5/3 definitely). I can't say anything but that it's worth all the money it costs and that gives the distinct feeling of being a lens built to last many years, as is expected from an L series. I highly recommend it to all lovers of wide-angle focal points. Vote 10.

xiaomi_mi_a2liteXiaomi Mi A2 Lite

Pros: SIM Cart with 3 slots that allows the insertion of two nano-sim + memory expansion. Monstrous battery. Great pictures with good/discreet light.

Cons: For my needs none. A little slow and uncertain the camera in the focus in portrait mode. Photos with little light of poor quality.

Opinion: I have and use this smartphone from about 6 months and for my use (no games and few photos) I find it really exceptional. I arrived to make 10.5 hours of active screen, in 2 days, between navigation in 4g, YouTube and several phone calls. Another feature that makes me prefer to better-performing smartphones is its compactness, unlike the half-pans of 6 inches and beyond that are now becoming the standard. Absolute Best Buy If you do not have photographic pretensions from top of the range, especially at the turn of light, even if the most experienced geeks of modding will not have difficulty to install the gcam that improves so much the photographic quality. Paid about 190 euros when it was not yet officially sold in Italy by Grossoshop. For me it's worth all the money it costs. I'd buy it back tomorrow.

patona_lp_e6Patona LP-E6

Pros: Only the price

Cons: They are worth even less than what they cost

Opinion: I took two a couple of years ago for my Canon 70D. Although I do not do a camera intensive use (less than 20 thousand in over two years), I due to throw both of them, one at a time because they are both dead. Even when they worked they gave to problems using the SLR in live view. It will be true that are cheap, but totally unreliable. Now I have two of the Premium series, one of which (acquired last year) is already showing problems. Spend little is fine, but spending goes badly wrong. If the original cost more for a reason.

canon_efs_55-250stmCanon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM

Pros: Lightness, clarity at all focal lengths and at all apertures, stabilizer.

Cons: For what it costs not know, apart from the hood can be purchased separately and the bayonet polycarbonate rather than metal.

Opinion: There is so much to write about this, but it only takes a few words to sum up his qualities, one above all the excellent quality / price ratio. There is nothing better around € 150/180, even the Tamron 70-300 VC I've had for a few days and immediately returned because the indecent optical quality and which still costs twice. The 55-250 IS STM looks like a toy in his hand, but when you use it remains literally amazed by the quality of the images that returns. Sharp and contrasted to any focal length and aperture, a little vignette to TA, but is corrected in post with a click, if you do not like. Among the many paintings that I've got to try, it would replace only with bianchini home Canon, the fastest in maf long focal species, where 55-250 is struggling a little bit. Excellent in the field of video with automatic maf continues where you do not register the slightest hum of the engine STM.rnPer what it costs and what it offers, I can only define this excellent goal.

tamron_70-300vcTamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD

Pros: Stabilizer

Cons: 200 to 300mm to say the least painful. Construction and solid feel from pure toy.

Opinion: Taken and returned after a couple of days. The zoom ring was so tough that ran jerkily. At 200mm even seemed to have arrived at the end of the race, it was so tough. Probably defective at birth. Although not suffering from back / front focus problems, since the 200mm was so soft and kneaded it even stopped down to f / 8-11 managed to be decent. It will be true that you take back to "only" 300 €, but a yield scandalous like that had not even my old 55-250IS first series on the 70D. The fact is that I restored back and I took the new Canon 55-250 IS STM which, although plasticky, is built much better, (bayonet separately) costs half and the yield is consistent and clear to any Focal also to edges of the frame. Personally I definitely do not recommend the Tamron "toilet" in favor of the Canon 55-250 IS STM if you aps-c, otherwise recommend spending more and take a bianchino.

canon_50_f1-8stmCanon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM

Pros: definitely unbeatable quality / price ratio. Good construction, sharp enough to TA, blurred.

Cons: For what it costs ... nobody.

Opinion: I gave away the old 50cc f / 1.8 II for the new STM. I bless the choice of the exchange rate. It 'a lens that fully fills all the gaps of his predecessor, from construction to TA optical goodness. The speed of maf is almost identical to the old, but much more precise and never hesitant. STM engine almost silent, unlike other absolutely silent STM goals (10-18, 18-135 and 24). In video mode cmq I have not encountered problems of unwanted noise in the audio. I would definitely recommend whether using aps-c that FF.

canon_efs24stmCanon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM

Pros: Clarity, lightness, strength, cost.

Cons: Apart from the fact of being an EF-S, I can not find.

Opinion: Goal that use recently, but just enough to draw the first conclusions. Sharpest already in TA with a barely perceptible vignetting, so much so that not correct her ever so rarely seen. 70D mounted on its yield is spectacular. Returns very sharp even at 3200 ISO, where usually with 18-135 detail begins to degrade. Perfect for street, landscapes and portraits settled, it is a perspective that fits in your pocket and you should not miss in a good suite of aps-c. I am excited about this little gem that I can only recommend to everyone.

canon_100_macroCanon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM

Pros: Sturdy, sharp, blur pleasant.

Cons: None.

Opinion: Excellent macro lens that I use with great satisfaction. For me it has little or nothing to envy to the "L" series that I've tried in the past, since I find the optical yield nearly identical. Usabilissimo in portraiture using aperture from f / 2.8 to 3.5, since already at f / 4 there are even skin pores. Quiet and fast in focusing even in macro mode. Spettacolare.rnL'assenza stabilizer, as some say, is not a defect, but a design choice. It 'sa bit like complaining that he had bought (consciously) a kilo of apples and then complain that the taste is not like pears.

canon_70dCanon 70D

Pros: Operating speed, burst, AF system, ISO estate, wi-fi, touch screen adjustable ergonomics and battery life.

Cons: Coming from 350D and 1000D honestly do not know. Perhaps the lack of a second SD slot.

Opinion: Fantastic car for a Sunday passionate amateur photographer like me. The leap in quality compared to the entry-level models is evident throughout. Excellent sealing up to ISO 6400 and ISO 12800 also usable with a bit of PP, if you have no great pretensions. It demands quality lenses, although, for the moment, I'm finding it pretty well with 10-18 and 18-135 STM. Fantastic in the creation of video coupled with the aforementioned optical STM. What can I say? Money very well spent. The council.

canon_efs_18-135_stmCanon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM

Pros: Versatility and overall quality. Monstrously valid in the video.

Cons: Decrease of sharpness at maximum focal, though not excessive.

Opinion: Taken goal in kit with the 70D to its ambitions and video for its convenient zoom range, especially when you travel. Who knows what it takes this view look. The yield on the photos is without praise and without shame, but if you learn to know and use it, it involves more than decent. Besides, a lens with a zoom range that I knew that I could not expect performance to scream. The auto focus is swift and silent in good light, a little less in low light, much like the USM, but the use is in live view that shows even faster and more precise. Goal that I recommend to those who do not point to the hair split into four, but seek perspective solid, despite its plasticky, versatile and still good quality.

canon_efs10-18isCanon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM

Pros: AF lightning-fast, accurate and silent. Lens clear and excellently resistant to flare

Cons: For what I paid new (267 €) hard to find.

Opinion: Lens I was waiting since the announcement and I took it without hesitation. Excellent zoom range for those who enjoy photographing landscapes. Af instantaneous and accurate on both 70D that of 1000D even in unfavorable light conditions. Distorts very little through good sharpness at the center of the frame and less at the edges, but given the price paid does not consider it a defect, such as a bayonet plastic. The lens gives the feeling of a more solid and well-built than the classic optic kit. I recommend it to those who do not have large budgets and those who are not willing to spend twice for the 10-22, since the performance is very similar.

canon_50_f1-8_v2Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

Pros: Economic, bright, light and crisp. Speed ??MAF more than acceptable, given the uses for which it is designed.

Cons: TA soft, but not too much. MAF automatic noisy and plasticky to the touch, but for € 100 ...

Opinion: Optics that I recommend to everyone for their versatility and quality of the shots that returns. Coupled with the Raynox DCR-250 is transformed into a super macro perspective, almost like the 50 f / 2.5, so with relative ratio of about 1: 2.rnSecondo me is a view that teaches you to photograph. Great for portraits ambientati and sometimes even a little more closely, given the absence of any distortion. He has awakened my senses to Sunday photographer. I recommend it highly. Quality / price ratio unmatched.
