Pros: Price, lightweight, compact, sharp, fast AF, VR, weather sealed, build quality, extra 10mm of zoom :D

Cons: Maybe missing that tripod mount, but i use L bracket on my Nikon d750 so it doesn't matter for me, actually less stuff in my bag :D Also using VR i hear very quite sound, i guess cuz of VR on...

Opinion: I got this lens for landscape photography or more for shooting mountain scenes. Its great lens, i used it first time in Nepal and damn i loved it every single time. Snappy, great zoom, sharp, VR works well, focus and so on. I got this lens instead of 70-200mm f2.8 cuz of lightweight, price and f4, cuz for my style i shoot mostly f8-f22, so why overpay and overloud your shoulders :D I think its great landscape photography lens and i highly recommend. Tamron really did it well with this baby ;) Also this lens in Japan won kind of innovation award, cuz this lens is if full of specs. Really!

Pros: Price, construction, excursion, sharpness, autofocus

Cons: weight slightly higher than canon

Opinion: Taken at 400 euros new, less than the canon is used. Well it's an amazing lens for its price, I had the canon 70-200 not stabilized and the tamron 2.8 the old one with the old type autofocus, one you couldn't use in the evening and the other was big and heavy and unusable for moving subjects. I think this is the best trade-off between portability/price and quality. The stabilization works well and is very sharp. The only thing compared to the canon are the 100 grams more but at a price halved and with 10mm more that hurt do not, also focuses at a really low distance that is a plus not a little! I think it's one of the best goals ever made by tamron, for now the only upgrade that would make me throat would be to the canon rf 2.8 that weighs a little more is small but costs 6 times as much

Pros: Price, sharpness,MAF,tropicalized.

Cons: Lack of bracket.

Opinion: About a month ago I bought for only 399 euros this new lens from online store, the first experience with a third-party lens and I have to say that it behaves very well, sharp already at full opening and if you settle for a diaphragm F4 you will not find any defects ,good construction and fluid dialing, the built-in lampshade helps to protect the lens, sincerely the maf occasionally in low light conditions tends to lose the moment (which with the 55-250 stm did not happen to me) but I do not consider it a problem, also the VC is surprising as well as the distance of focus. In conclusion if you don't need the 2.8 this is a great compromise saving nice bucks but having a full-range lens still with F4 on display!

Pros: light, compact, very sharp, well done

Cons: lack of tripod collar

Opinion: I bought this used lens but the perfect conditions after reading opinions about it. Trying it calmly I was pleasantly surprised mainly by the sharpness but also by the ergonomics and practicality of use. precise and fluid motion. the VC is great. With a 36mm extension tudo, the minimum distance is reduced and becomes practically a macro. Great...

Pros: Stabilizer, F4 fixed, barrel length does not change by zooming

Cons: Tripod mount Ring not supplied and the official one costs 150 euros!

Opinion: It is my first telephoto lens, and I think it will remain for many years. It's really well built, and from a sense of security in handling it, the quality of the photos is great (but I'm not a Pixelpipparo). The real strong points of this optics are the size, the weight and the aperture F4 for all focal lengths, is already very sharp at full aperture, from its maximum closed one stop. Good playback ratio to start making some photos "macro" the stabilizer is something incredible, left me speechless. I think that especially for those who have Nikon is a great choice, to have quality at a price not excessive. I mount this lens on the dated d3100, and the weight is slightly unbalanced even if not so much as I feared. I would have liked to take the ring for the tripod but I think that 150 euros are insane, in the end even without the ring the camera remains stable on the tripod. In the end I paid 615 euros sold and shipped from Amazon, to find it at that price I made the mail for a few months. I think at that price is really a great purchase, especially for those looking for a tele to be able to carry around without the weight of a f 2.8 but with more quality than the 70-300 F4-5.6 or similar.
