![]() | Fujifilm X100VI Pros: Monochrome Jpgs are a lot of stuff. Cons: a bit of problems with the menu. Opinion: I am an old photographer and I have used analog cameras that Dsrl and mirrorless. Lately for the problems I have with my hands I gave away the Nikon Z8 and I switched to the ZF but it is also quite heavy and then talking with the manager of the RCE store in Livorno my dear friend Luca recommended this small camera. At first I was hesitant, but after two outings it clicked (love) never advice was more apt never camera more successful for street and reportage. With the ZF I continue to do my landscape work but with this little one that I will always keep in my backpack that I use every day it will allow me to do that genre that I really like that is being among people, going around the city and photographing. Congratulations to Fuji for this little gem, vote 10. sent on January 11, 2025 |
![]() | Nikon Z 70-180mm f/2.8 Pros: Lightoooooo and sharpooooo Cons: No complaints at the moment. Opinion: My work of lightening equipment continues, I replaced the Z8 with the ZF and for the problems I have with my hands it was necessary and now I have given away the Tamron 35-150 and the Tamron 150-500 and I took the Nikon Z 24-120 and the 70-180 and at the moment I am fully satisfied, light, very sharp from edge to edge, Perfect for ceremonies but also for non-demanding sporting events, an excellent lens with a reasonable cost that allows you to replace the 70-200 which is other stuff but also other expense and weight. Fully satisfied. sent on July 16, 2024 |
![]() | Nikon Zf Pros: A car that invites you to the photo Cons: if it had 45 megapixels it would be perfect, Opinion: I had tried I had the Z8 with the tamron 35-150 and the tamron 150-500 a phenomenal combination but unfortunately my hand problems did not allow me to keep this equipment, I tried but it was useless, I reluctantly turned everything and I took the ZF adding the Z 70-180 to my Z lenses and I made myself a lighter and more functional equipment for my problems. The Zf is a great camera, I did a wedding photo shoot using the Z 24-120 and the results were really good. The camera has all the tricks of the superior sisters for autofocus, processor and other features that make it a versatile camera suitable for portrait, landscape and reportage, of course the Z8 was other stuff, but considering everything I am really satisfied with the choice made, a camera to which I give a grade of 10. sent on July 15, 2024 |
![]() | Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD Pros: So much in one goal Cons: The weight is felt, but considering the yield we can adapt. Opinion: It's hard to find a lens like this and I sacrificed myself to get it. I, who was looking for light lenses for some problems I have on my hands, decided to buy it and I use it with my great satisfaction on the Nikon Z8. And? A lens that allows you to do many things: events, photos in the theater, portraits, reportage, even street, landscape and more. With its range from 35mm to 150mm and its aperture from F2 to F2.8 it presents itself with all its sharpness, dynamic range, color quality and with an autofocus that on the Z8 does not make you regret the original Nikon Z Mount. It is important not heavier than a Nikon /70/200, but this can replace a 24-70 and a 70-200 and even some substantial fixed ones and I who do landscape with long exposures I can directly use the 82 mm Nisi Holder with its plate filters and polarizer. I won't dwell any further, others before me others have been better but what I want to tell you is to try it on both Nikon and Sony and you will be impressed. sent on April 10, 2024 |
![]() | Ricoh GR IIIx Pros: A camera that allows me to photograph at any time. Cons: We know it lacks viewfinder and hard batteries, but we get used to it. Opinion: I'll start by saying that I've had the Gr3 in the past and I resold it because the 28mm didn't satisfy me too wide angle for the kind of street photos I like to take. I tried this one and decided to get it because the 40mm is my favorite lens for the street. I won't add anything else, it's a camera that you always carry with you and allows you to take shots that with my Z8 with its Z optics I couldn't do as it's easily understandable. Great product, great photos fully satisfied, try it to believe it. sent on January 06, 2024 |
![]() | Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD Pros: The top is very manageable in size and weight Cons: At the moment none Opinion: I got this lens because I wanted a long zoom that would allow me to use it on the Z8 where I use it, and I must say that from the first shots I was satisfied with it. The autofocus works very well and with the 3D tracking hooked the subject does not let go, very performing and precise. The weight in the long run is felt so the use of a monopod is necessary especially for me who have problems with my hands, but overall it is a lens with an excellent performance both for the IQ and for its sharpness. I'll have to test it more thoroughly but at the moment I'm very happy with it. I add a small update and I must say that after several shooting sessions both for sportsmen who practice windsurfing -Kitesurfing - hydrofoil I got excellent results both on the autofocus side I did not miss a shot, all in focus with a more or less fast burst, with an image quality definition and cleanliness in terms of iso that really amazed me. sent on January 01, 2024 |
![]() | Nikon Z8 Pros: Having tried so many of them, I think this one beats them all. Cons: battery life a bit poor nothing else. Opinion: I try to keep it short, it's going to be my ultimate camera. I've had a lot of them, from the analog F series to the digital, not least the D850 and then move on to the Z6 and Z7, first and second series to get to this Z8. For my needs it satisfies me in everything, it doesn't take better photos than the others, it works like a Z7ii but it helps a lot in all phases, from the focus to the 3D tracer to the stabilization to the adjustable display which in landscape photos is a boon and to many small tricks that make it a machine that I would call Useful is the minimum. It doesn't work miracles like no other machine does, but I can say that I'm fully satisfied with it. sent on October 18, 2023 |
![]() | Nikon Z fc Pros: A versatile camera, useful for different photographic uses. Cons: No one in particular. Opinion: Don't be shocked, but I replaced a Leica Q with this camera and I'm very, very satisfied. The main reason is that with the Leica, magnificent camera, with an amazing lens, but the problem for me is right there, a fixed 28m, which conditioned me a lot compared to my type of photo, in particular landscape and long exposures. I already own a Nikon Z7ii N with its lenses and the choice of this camera was accordingly. Taken with discount in the cash register with the two lenses a kit, 16-50 and 50-250, I'm using it daily I can say that for autofocus, dynamic range, image quality and high so tightness, the results are very very satisfactory, if we then consider that I can also use all the Z mount lenses also for FF, the circle closes satisfactorily. sent on January 20, 2023 |
![]() | Tamron 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD Pros: Lightweight, functional lens performing enough for my needs. Cons: Not very bright. Opinion: I bought it for its lightness, price, and because I do not use it continuously. I have a Nikon z7ii and I mainly take landscape photos and from this point of view I am well covered with a Nikon z 14-30 and a Nikon z 24-120, two excellent very valid and performing lenses. I needed a longer lens in case I needed it. the nikon z 70 200 and 100 400 are unapproachable for me for their price circus 3000 euros and for the weight, therefore, having already had on the D850 and D750 Tamron lenses and having found myself well I opted for this 70 300, which although not stabilized, uses the stabilizer of the sensor of the Z7ii.Da first shots seems very valid for the type of need I have, I recognize and limits and defects, but at the moment I am satisfied with it and it corresponds to what I was looking for. sent on November 21, 2022 |
![]() | Nikon Z 24-120mm f/4 S Pros: A canvas that does many things, very well. Cons: Perhaps the lack of stabilizer, Opinion: After several reflections and insights and in an attempt to rationalize my equipment, I decided to sell the 24-70 f4 and z 24-200 and move on to buying this z 24-120 F4. I was a bit hesitant given the not very positive opinions of the F4 G ED VR, but once mounted on my Z7ii, I had to change my mind and a lot. Meanwhile I must say that I have reduced my equipment to only three lenses z 14-30 f4 Z 24-120 F4 and Z 20mm f1.8. At the moment with these optics I cover all my needs, from landscape photos, to portrait to reportage and night photos and sports photos in particular roller skating. I must say that the 24 120 F4, will be the lens that will allow me to realize about 70% of the photographic work with my great satisfaction from all points of view. It has a good construction, a widely bearable weight, excellent finishes and although it is not stabilized, it uses the stabilizer on the sensor of the Z7ii so there are no problems in this regard. A wide focal range, which can be extended using the DX mode and with the 47 mpx of the Z7ii we do not lose either in resolution or in sharpness. We can therefore count on a handyman with high image quality, sharpness and dynamic range, all enclosed in a single lens, of which I highly recommend the purchase. sent on August 23, 2022 |
![]() | Leica Q (Typ 116) Pros: A top image quality. Cons: Maybe the price, the battery life. Opinion: It's a small photographic dream that comes true, in addition to landscape photography I love street and reportage, I had turned on a Richo gr3, large, I repeat great camera, but for the problems I have to the eye, shooting from the display was a problem, so going to the RCE of Livorno, exquisite people, they proposed me this Leica Q kept very well at a fair price, the moment I took it in my hand the feeling clicked and I decided to take it, I had a Nikon Z7ii and Z6ii, I gave back the Z6ii, with some lenses that I did not use and the small Richo and now the Q is in my hands. I only took a few shots, but the images I saw in the MEC made me realize that this sumilux 28mm 1.7 is a portent. This is a camera that gives a lot of satisfaction and even the lens that at first gave me to think about being a fixed 28mm made me change my mind with this beginning a new and different relationship with photography. I am fully satisfied with the choice made, we mean in addition to the merits there are also the defects as in ALL the cameras, but in this case the merits outweigh the defects in a big way. sent on August 02, 2022 |
![]() | Ricoh GR III Pros: Tiny, compact, very well made, with excellent image quality in both black and white and color. Cons: By now it is known, the life of the batteries. Opinion: I wanted a real compact, quality and without fainting and here the choice went on this incredible machine. First of all, landscape photographer, go to my Juza profile and you will see it, I use Nikon Z6ii and Z7ii with all Z Mount lenses, but since I love the street, I wanted a proper camera and after trying the Panasonic Lx100 and Gx9, which did not satisfy me for a number of reasons I fell back on this and never choice was so guessed. Purchased used with about 50 shots at a reasonable price I started shooting and I was really surprised by the files it churns out in both JPG and DNG, I put it in my backpack that I use daily and I rediscovered the fun of taking photos, really beautiful photos, turn on points and shots, activating the various modes provided by the machine and the results are incredible and believe me says one who has a few years on his shoulders, it's not two days that shoots and I use a professional equipment of no small importance, but with this I rediscovered the taste of photographing. For the batteries no Problem I have three and so.... try to believe, in tendiamoci the defects there are as in all machines, I do not list them, but the merits are superior to the defects. sent on July 23, 2022 |
![]() | Nikon Z7 II Pros: Dynamic range, resolution, weight, shutter speed extension. Cons: Display not adjustable vertically. Opinion: After about two and a half years I switched from Z to Zii and the choice was very thoughtful, but I think it was the best at the moment. I think the z and the Zii are among the best mirrorless for landscape photos that I do mainly. The dynamic range, the resolution, the colors it reproduces are in my opinion among the best ever, but one of the reasons that most interested me for this type of photo is the extension of the shutter speed, being able to expose up to 900 seconds without using various contraptions is fundamental for me in long exposure shots. So having the Z6ii and Z7ii with all Z mount optics, I think my kit is adequate for the type of photos I take. sent on June 13, 2022 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix G Vario 7-14mm f/4 ASPH Pros: Light and practical. Cons: Not being able to use filters, but we already know this when buying. Opinion: With this I finish my micro 4/3 kit, consisting of GX9, 45-175mm, 15mm, and 12.60mm. A small complete kit that covers all my needs for street photos and reportage. The goodness of this lens is very high, a classic focal point of the ultrawide wide angle that can not be missing in the backpack. Very satisfied with its sharpness both in day and night shooting, I had the Nikon 14-24 and this in size looks like a newborn, but that does great its job. Bought used at a really good price, I am very satisfied with it. sent on April 07, 2021 |
![]() | Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 15mm f/1.7 ASPH Pros: I like it from all points of view. Cons: So far, no objection. Opinion: a lens of 15 mm (30mm ff.) f. 1.7 weighing 115 grams, tell me what criticisms we need to make. Purchased used guaranteed 1 year on Rce for the price of 370 euros, mounted on the Panasonic GX9, made the first shots to I was blown away. I have two Nikon 7 and Z6ii with related z mount optics, but I use this micro 4/3 for street photos and with the dynamic monochrome setting, it makes exaggerated images both as IQ, as sharpness and resolution. Never chosen was more guessed for this type of photo. Very very satisfied and I recommend it, try to believe. sent on April 01, 2021 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix G X PZ 45-175mm f/4.0-5.6 ASPH OIS Pros: The ideal medium canvas, light, invisible in your hands, with excellent results Cons: So far, no one. Opinion: I am building a small micro 4/3 kit with Panasonic GX9, panasonic 12-60 and panaleica 17mm f1.7 matching this 45-175 (90-350 ff.) It is a dated goal, it dates back to 2011, but it is still an excellent lens that in the stock exchange can be useful in different circumstances. I use this equipment mainly for street photography and it should give me good results. I could not thoroughly test the whole covid cause, but from the first shots made around the house this 45-175, it meets all my needs in terms of portability, functionality, the fact that it does not stretch is a great thing and also on IQ, and sharpness does not joke at all. Panasonic, in this field is truly a security and these objectives fully correspond to the philosophy of practicality, portability and quality. sent on April 01, 2021 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS Pros: Small, light, handy ideal for street photos and reportage. Cons: Bright within the limits of this lens, but adequate for price and use. Opinion: The classic handyman of medium canvases that we find in all brands of obbietti for generalist use, such as street and reportage. In these goals we do not seek the maximum of sharpness, resolution and range, it has to do its job and this 12-60 does it great. I combined it during the purchase phase with a Panasonic GX9, a great machine for use that I make of it and with this 12-60 I get street photos that with my Nikon Z6ii and Z7 I would have dreamed of. You go completely unnoticed, you shoot two meters away from people who don't notice and I get incredible results. I am considering completing everything with a canvas such as the 45-175 and I think I have excellent equipment, light versatile. Trying to believe, it does not work miracles, but its duty and does it well, very well, like others more famous and expensive. sent on March 26, 2021 |
![]() | Panasonic GX9 Pros: An incredible machine, trying to believe, light, small, produces great and ready-to-use Jpg files. Cons: Maybe the 0cular, but in this machine you can not use it. Battery life. Opinion: As mentioned above, try to believe, especially for use in street photos or reportage. I have two Nikon Z6ii mirrorless and Z7 mirrorless with great Z Mount lenses, and I'm more than satisfied with this equipment, but I was looking for a compact camera for street photo and decided for this GX9 with 12-60 lens, replacing a now dated Panasonic Lx100. At first glance I was impressed and puzzled by the size of both the camera and the 0bbietttivo. An in-depth sprint the menu and the operation that on the generals reflects all the panasonic, I switched to use for what interests me, the street. Holding the machine in my hand, with the display open, setting the focus and the shot from the same, I took photos that was previously unthinkable, no one, even 1 meter away noticed that I was photographing, and setting the AI+ mode, times, diaphragms and iso are decided by the same, making photos all and fire, sharp, with a fast and precise shot, enhancing its 20 mpx sensor without low pass filter. Really satisfied, so much so that I decided to expand the range of objectives with a wide angle and a longer canvas, maybe a 45-175.In fact, the micro 4/3 park offers excellent objectives at a really good price especially in the used. Concluding those looking for a car for the street and reportage with this is safe. sent on March 25, 2021 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix LX100 Pros: Compactness, control rings, lens quality Cons: Nobody. Opinion: Dust, for me it was not a problem, I have been owning this machine for about 4 years, but to date, I have not detected any kind of problem on the sensor. It's fun for the remains. I mainly use it for street photos, and I always take it with me in the car or in the backpack, and it gave me some nice satisfactions, giving me great shots. It has a lens corresponding to the 24-75, which allows you to cover all the shooting focals and with its brightness from excellent results, and the noise that is lurking is easily overcome with post-productions. I also own two Nikons, the Z7 and Z6ii, with their Zmount optics, but when I go around town, this Panasoninc makes me want to photograph, small, invisible, silent, really great and I recommend it, especially the new Lxii series. sent on February 09, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4 S Pros: An innovative lens in some respects. Cons: After over 1 year of use nothing to obey. Opinion: I bought this lens in kit with the Z7 over 1 year ago and I am also using it on the Z6ii with satisfactory results. the 24-70 is a lens I use a lot, and when I had the REFLEX I used the Tamron 24-70 2.8, great goal, but quite heavy. With the Z sistena I am using as light lenses as possible for hand problems and therefore targets with f4 focals, such as 14-30, and 24-200. This 24-70 is light, very sharp all over the frame, coupled with the stabilizer in the car, it also allows shots with fast times, the vignetting that can be relapsed, quickly resolves into posts and honestly at the moment I do not feel the need for the 24-70 2.8 given also the price. In conclusion, I am satisfied and highly recommend its purchase. sent on January 01, 2021 |
![]() | Viltrox AF 85mm f/1.8 II Pros: Autofocus and sharpness. Cons: At the moment no one Opinion: I think I am the first to make a judgment on this goal, purchased for Nikon Z6ii and Nikon Z7. Viltrox, contrary to all forecasts, was the first third-party company to produce an autofocus lens with Zmount attack. It is a very simple lens in its construction, in fact there is only the ring for manual focus and nothing else. It's quite light, 484 grams with a filter diameter of 72 mm, so quite large, and takes all the automatisms from the camera, like autofocus, stabilizer, and everyone else in the room. From the first shots, I noticed that the focus is equal to the Zmount Nikon objectives, while for the quality of the fail, I reserve the right to deepen the covid situation allowing. I can at the moment express satisfaction, polluted we are also allowed to make choices other than the native Nikon objectives that although they are of an exaggerated quality, they also have not indifferent prices, especially for photo amateurs like me. sent on December 30, 2020 |
