Pros: AF speed, stabilization efficiency, ergonomics of buttons AND access to internal functions, wealth of video modes, quality/price ratio, quality and diversity of colorimetry modes (Picture Control), extraordinary viewfinder, etc!

Cons: The price could be a deterrent, BUT NOT for the level offered. No video copy to second memory card.

Opinion: [Update 11.09.24 : Recent tests of the autofocus in video mode, with face detection and target lock, have given excellent results on a sprinter's training. This in lateral and frontal running. Update 18.09.24 : Feedback on the heating of the device in video mode: yes, just like for the Z8, high resolutions (4K+), especially in Raw mode, cause excessive heating of the device, especially on the memory card. On the other hand, I just finished a 12-hour wedding in 1080p and there, it does not heat much. These devices (Z6III like Z8/Z9), display breathtaking shooting performances, BUT you have to be careful not to record too long and interrupt the shots. For me, on this point, these are not video cameras of the level of a Black Magic for example.] First of all, my testimony must be understood by my specific need: wedding videography. (I work in duo with a photographer). So this device seduced me for its video offer. For the details of the CODECS, I let you look at all the possibilities, it's damn full! I associated it with the 35mm F/1.8 S while possibly waiting for the 1.2, so awaited. I've had it for less than a month, but already tested well, I wanted to give an opinion to help others in the decision. Let's skip the controversy (bashing?) concerning the "disappointing" dynamic range. In the real world, it doesn't weigh much. The increase in ISOs in video is excellent. What is most striking is the efficiency of the autofocus, which shortens the gap with Sony and Canon. Then, there is this extraordinary viewfinder, so good that I film the eye in the viewfinder while leaving the screen closed :) Then, the stabilization is sufficient for me, (still with the aim of the wedding video) to do without a stabilizer. It's great. By holding my elbows glued to my body, I can pan, tilt, without jolts. The ergonomics of the back face are so intuitive, that very quickly, it is possible to change settings, without ever taking your eye off the viewfinder. The adjustment of the options is also intuitive, although familiar to Nikonists. A word about the photography side: there is a price difference between the z6iii and the z6ii. For me the answer is simple: the difference is justified if you need better autofocus, excellent stabilization, or if you dream of being able to recover the second before a bird takes flight. Otherwise, the Z6ii, especially with its lower price, remains an excellent camera. Concerning the hesitation with a Z8 whose price is currently dropping, I would say that it is not my same category of camera, so it is a little unfair to compare them. In photo, the Z8 offers 45Mpix, I would take the Z8. In video needs, I would take the Z6iii... In conclusion: is it the best camera of all brands? Of course not! Sony and Canon have great options to claim. However, the Z6iii has something going for it: for its price, the possibilities offered make it a winner.

Pros: Weight, AF, customization (buttons eg.), pre-capture, high-iso

Cons: the rotating screen, could be a litte bit "higher"

Opinion: As I don`t do any tests and just go out to take pictures, these are my very personal thoughts. I comparison to the z-6ii the AF-improvement is huge! It ist not as great as the z-9, but there we had some huge updates - so we will see ;-) I personaly prefer the tilt screen of z-6ii/z-9 over the fully rotating one. The "old" one is more durable I think and - it`s a litte bit "strange" for me to look at a screen that is not in the optical axis of the lens when shooting low level for example. Second thing is, thas the body could be a little more "higher" - my hands are rather big - but SmallRig already has the solution as with the z-6ii The big question I guess is: as a photographer (without video) is it worth to update from z-6ii? Well, if you don`t shoot wildlife&birds all the time, then I would say no. The z-6ii handles everything else in a great way and you can spend your money in lenses :-) If you love to shoot birds and other wildlife and the z-9 is too big/heavy - definitley a yes. Or, as a second & lighter body with similar af-technology.... I hope, this non-scientific thought can help someone with their descision - if there are questions, feel free to ask :-)

Pros: There was a lack of a camera like this in the park Miroles.simply perfect

Cons: Nothing to Detect

Opinion: I'm from the z6 and I didn't think there could be so much difference. I'm using it in combination with the 24/120 f4. I bought it about 2 months ago and I still have to do some tests that I will definitely do later. I have read several opinions about this camera. The battery did not give me the problems that I read in the various posts, and in my opinion its duration is good, it is true that I am not a professional who uses it for some time, but I have not encountered the problem

Pros: A perfect machine performance

Cons: Battery life, short grip grommets and photo quality as seen from the viewfinder or LCD

Opinion: Surely the leap in quality influences my opinion. I come from a D7500 that I currently use for certain shots, but if I demand a certain speed the z6iii is unrivaled at the moment. Lightweight, in my opinion it provides better performance when using the screen than the viewfinder. Now I have only used 24-70 f2.4, 70-200 f2.4, 35 f1.8 and 50-500 f6.3 and I would be curious to use it even with brighter super telephoto lenses. I was very disappointed by the battery life where after 2/3 hours of shooting I get to 2 bars of charge. The grip rubber adjacent to the battery door came off almost immediately and the quality of the shots seen from the viewfinder and the LCD can be misleading compared to when we see them on a PC.

Pros: I would say a machine that does everything and excels in some areas.

Cons: At the moment none.

Opinion: I will make a brief review as the previous judgments are complete and punctual. I replaced my ZF with this camera and I am very satisfied with it, the problem with the ZF was the grip and the grip in the hand that created many difficulties for me, while with this 6iii it is a marvel. I use it with the Tamron 35-150, the nikon 28-400, the 14-30 and the 24-70 and I must say that the results from all points of view are valid and punctual, a great camera that is currently found at honest prices and of which I recommend the purchase.
