I decided to sell my 24-70 f/2.8S practically never used (very few shots) because heavy. Well after a couple of outings in cities of art I can say that this lens is worth a lot for two reasons: the wide focal range that allows you to always find the shot (the 24-70 is short in this sense) and a great yield in terms of sharpness already starting from the full aperture at f / 4. There is no need to close beyond f/8 for landscape friends. I highly recommend it: practical, lightweight, well built, with flare resistance, wide focal range and great sharpness. Personally I reward him with a nice 10.
