Pros: Speed, versatility and weight

Cons: Sharpness after 400mm

Opinion: After more than a year of use, I don't feel like recommending this lens. I come from a Sigma 150-600 Sport, a lens that is certainly heavier but also very sharp. My intent was to lighten the setup without sacrificing image quality, but unfortunately it didn't work out that way. Up to about 400mm the performance is good, but going further I found a noticeable drop: the images are often not very incised, with a feeling of micro-blur even using a tripod and a suitable head. A behavior that I did not expect. I used this lens on both Z8 and Z6, but on both I never found that level of detail that you often read about online. For those looking for maximum sharpness (which a zoom can give) and cannot afford a top-of-the-range fixed lens, I personally would not recommend it. For wildlife photography from a hide, I would rather evaluate solutions such as a 500 PF with F mount or the new 600 PF. For a travel use, which was my case, I struggle to find a real alternative to recommend... but this lens, for me, was a disappointment.... maybe it's just my defective model...

Pros: Silent and very fast in focusing. Internal zoom and focus. Build quality and fairly low weight. Stabilization.

Cons: Lens hood. Lack of ark swiss attachment. Case.

Opinion: I use it with Z6iii. The rag of the case is embarrassing to say the least. For the rest I said in the pros and cons and the most important ones are all pros. Certainly not comparable with the f/4, but this one is intended for a different use. I enjoy using birdlife for its versatility and maneuverability. Positive purchase.

Pros: All-internal focus and zoom, image quality, quiet, accurate, construction.

Cons: I don't know, I can't even say the weight because for its size it is not really among the heaviest. Lens hood perhaps seems delicate to me. I would have preferred an arm with ark swiss but amen.

Opinion: Used for a few months for a couple of events and for some outings in the woods I can only speak well of it. A nice beast but it gives a lot of satisfaction! at 600mm I didn't notice any loss of quality and in general I really enjoyed taking pictures of it, it didn't miss a shot with my Z6II. I equipped it with ark swiss. The fact that it has both the focus and the zoom all internal is very useful because it does not unbalance the optics. Focal range that is also very fast, I don't have to do 40 turns of the ring to get to the end of the stroke, just half a turn and I'm at 600mm, very convenient if I have to do something fast. What can I say highly recommended!
