canon_24-70_v2Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM II

Pros: Sharpness, AF speed and precision, construction, colors, reliability, lots and lots of performance.

Cons: cost, needless to say lack of stabilization, for those who are used to it it is not a drama...

Opinion: Recently purchased, I come from a Canon 28-70 f2.8 L that I will always remember in its beautiful rendering, now vintage... I can't say that the change was really radical... Maybe I expected it to be lighter, but in terms of speed, sharpness even on the sides and colors, we are on another planet. I was already aware of what the advantages of this lens would be, but trying them out for yourself is a whole other thing... The blur is true, it is not "creamy" and generous like the first two versions, because of the different microcontrast, but nothing detracts from the fact that its three-dimensionality is superlative... The engraving of the details and nuances are indescribable... If we have to talk about the speed, it really amazed me, I really didn't think it was so fast despite the weight... With high-performance autofocus modules, it becomes a lightning bolt... Many have complained about the lack of stabilization, but let's be clear, is it really necessary for a lens like this? Although now the RF system has been updated, I recommend it completely from landscapes to portraits, for intensive professional use even today even on mirrorless it can give the best of itself... Perfect project !

canon_70-200_f4isCanon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM

Pros: Sharpness, wonderful overall rendering, probably even faster than its big brother IS II, pretty much everything.

Cons: Not entirely suitable for professional use, if not only in the studio.

Opinion: Tested for a few months as a replacement for its brother f2.8, an amazing lens, probably the best telephoto that Canon has ever designed... Sharpness on the sides, vivid, crystal-clear colors and a truly mind-blowing portrait rendering, sometimes even better in shades than its big brother IS II... Maybe even better in speed, but it's trivial to say considering the weight and small size... A very compact construction design that makes it easier to transport and hold on the camera bodies... only in the evening the reduced aperture compared to the F2.8 models, despite the stabilization excellent offer is felt... Although you can still make beautiful portraits in the evening, I also recommend it to those who work in the studio, because there it becomes practically perfect. Highly recommended !

yongnuo_yn685ii_canonYongnuo YN685 II Canon

Pros: Power, color, measurement, functions, construction and materials, charging speed, radio system, value for money.

Cons: Small display compared to others but well readable, needs powerful batteries, overheats a little, not suitable for sustained gusts but at that price you can not want more.

Opinion: I own two canon 580ex ii and I had to use them remotely with receivers, so I decided to buy this new Yongnuo, since I was in possession of the transmitter, considering its integrated radio functions, before using the canon I have always used flash of the yonguno and now I have returned to use this brand preferring it to other competitors like godox because of their particular feeling with Canon sensors. What can I say, a flash that is built very well, full of functions that have nothing to envy to the 600ex, a very large dish with a minimum value of 20mm very comfortable, great power that amazed me, color of the lightning and TTL measurement really really really good for a flash from 140 euros, I hoped for a slightly larger display, But already having a battery icon unlike the Canon already does a lot ... The only flaw is the burst, in continuous shooting mode "H" does not hold, four shots out of seven are covered, it works better in basic continuous shooting, it consumes a lot of batteries, better to use it with professional batteries, if you keep it in action for too long it can easily overheat, I think it has no internal cooling function, for the rest it is really a beautiful flash that amazed me! I recommend it to all those who do not want to spend a lot for an original flash at home, at the price it has is highly recommended!

canon_speedlite_600exrtCanon Speedlite 600EX-RT

Pros: Construction, upgraded functions compared to the 580ex ii, speed and accuracy of measurement, balance, weight despite the larger volume, reliability.

Cons: Cost still in used, fragile compared to its predecessors, original transmitter lacking focusing light.

Opinion: Recently purchased to upgrade to my dear 580ex, a nice step forward despite the age and advancement of the new models for mirrorless, a reliable, powerful, useful flash in all situations and photographic work fields, with all the functions clear and updated comfortably for the most demanding photographers, the best quality even today, resistant to bursts and responsive even in the fastest systems, with a completely improved white balance, as the predecessors still maintained a dominant tending to warm tones... a very precise lightning measurement accuracy even in speed and really beautiful colors ... I expected it a little more robust in materials, a fall can easily compromise its operation so be careful! For the rest I really recommend it to everyone if you do not want to incur in competitive products!

canon_24-105Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM

Pros: Construction, war autofocus, good stabilization, colors and yield, great versatility, price now in the used.

Cons: sharpness not quite at the top but acceptable, limited for aperture.

Opinion: A Canon classic, a lens often sold in kits from the first 5D to the 5D Mark III, which has satisfied many photographers around the world, tried for a month, beautiful construction, practically complete in everything despite its twenty years of age, compact and with a very well balanced weight even when it extends to the maximum, excellent stabilization even if of the first generation, very precise and fast autofocus, which even in the dark can act very well, bright colors and shades, especially in 24mm landscapes, probably its successor in terms of sharpness and global yield will have a great extra gear, but for what it currently costs in the used if you want a stabilized all-rounder with 350 or at most 400 euros you can take home a lens practically still legendary, highly recommended.

canon_17-40Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM

Pros: Autofocus, flare resistance, global yield, colors, construction, fantastic black and white rendering, unbeatable value for money.

Cons: Sometimes a bit limited because of the openness.

Opinion: Exceptional lens, an all-rounder practically on both Full Frame and APS-C, a lens to always take into consideration, excellent wide angle, versatile and with a light, solid and comfortable construction in the rings, a truly battle autofocus with an incredible management of the flare through its elements, you will almost never miss a shot if you have performing engines! Beautiful colors, deep especially if you work with landscapes in shades of the sky, but also in macro, also offering a blur soft enough to be an initial F4 ... It is not as sharp as its successors and its big brothers okkey, but it offers a sharpness already from F4 acceptable, closed obviously then becomes much sharper and manageable, totally closed then becomes pure poetry ... Now searchable even at 370-400 euros is stra recommended!

canon_70-200_f2-8is_iiiCanon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS III USM

Pros: Pretty much everything its predecessor had but with an improved yield in flare resistance and backlight management, slightly stronger stabilization, sharper sharpness at 2.8, improved speed ratio

Cons: not a real upgrade considering that it changes only in terms of yield and sharpness that (in my opinion) were not needed at all considering the quality of the predecessor, all this makes it practically meaningless considering also the advancement of the mirrorless optics.

Opinion: Tried and tested for two months, an exceptional lens, practically perfect on all its aspects but, does it really make sense to buy it ? Compared to its predecessor it has only improvements in terms of central sharpness and angles, a clearer stabilization at longer focal lengths and a slightly better speed ratio, and if we really have to say it all they could at least bring down the minimum focusing distance since it remains practically stationary at one meter and twenty ... I therefore reiterate that if the second version already offers a lot how useful could it be? For the rest it is really impeccable, colors, blurred, beautiful shades ... Definitive for portraits, sports, reportage even in very harsh conditions, its global yield is very close to the latest L, such as 85mm f1.4 and 24-70 f2.8, buying it is a guarantee for many uses but I believe that in any case our dearest Canon Mother House has made a big hole in the water.

canon_6dCanon 6D

Pros: Colors, ISO, very generous and creative sensor, construction, very good center point, responsiveness, value for money, functions, battery life

Cons: pros and cons are all known, not excellent in focus, white balance, dancer light meter, lack of self-cleaning

Opinion: Recently purchased to use it as a second body, I already knew what I was up against, but after many years from its release I saw my generation practically "grow" with this camera body, built perhaps with the same updated features of the 5D Mark ii that I kept until a year ago, as far as ergonomics are concerned, it is really very beautiful, light and built with excellent materials, nice display identical to that of the Mark iii but slightly smaller, the joystick is missing but with the buttons you get used to it, I was amazed by the central point, which in the Mark ii was the only strong point but in the 6D has a much more reactive and precise focus area even in low light conditions or in fast situations, the laterals if used calmly and in stationary situations can also work properly... The colors of the raw files are really excellent, perhaps even richer in shades than the Mark iii, the dynamic range does not match with its older sister but looks very good, you can safely use 6400 IS0 without problems, in some cases even the 12800 ISO can occur without too much noise ... Highly recommended even today in 2021 !

canon_5d3Canon 5D Mark III

Pros: Professional and complete in all respects, robust body and great ergonomics, battle autofocus in many different conditions, colors and shades, crisp sensor, ISO management and much more...

Cons: To date, after nine years practically none.

Opinion: My car dream for many years and I do not deny that I was excited when I finally was able to buy and try it, I come from a Mark II that I will always remember for its weakness of autofocus and its really too simple system and its essential functions, I do not deny that the qualitative leap was indescribable ... (not taking anything away from Mark II which I think still made history...) starting from the ergonomics designed for all types of hands, solidity and compactness truly wonderful to the touch, functions that allow you to adjust many parameters indispensable for many types of use, really excellent and customizable focus ... good exposure meter (not as good as that of the 1dx but completely improved compared to the mark ii) a sharpness of the sensor and a really incredible gradient control with clean files and very delicious colors... to date it can also be purchased for 850 euros in good condition... for me the best machine body ever designed for the professional use of canon house, indicated for ceremonies and also for study, made history like all 5D... it is useless to tell you that I give my advice to all those who work for ceremonies and for so many other uses

canon_70-200_f2-8Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM

Pros: Precision and lightning speed, solidity, compactness, wonderful yield, sharpness and engraving, pasty and delicious blurry colors and blur, a war machine, value for money.

Cons: lack of stabilisation, but there are two versions for this very reason, otherwise really none.

Opinion: I needed a good telephoto lens for both portraits and receptions and ceremonies, but my wallet required me to choose a Tamron with stabilizer or a smooth Canon, although the competitors offer excellent quality I decided to stay true to the dear Canon house, while giving up stabilization. I can tell you that it has never really disappointed me, stabilization is felt only when the weight leads you to tire your hands after many hours of work, it is a little cumbersome of course but of course we are still talking about a professional telephoto lens, the minimum focus distance is sometimes a bit uncomfortable compared to the current ones but you get a little used to it... otherwise it is clear already from f2.8 enough, with the mark iii focusing the eyes is always a delight, speed exceeded perhaps only by the big brother IS II, despite the weight is always a real lightning, precision from war machine, always ready for the fleeting moment ... the blurry then that it offers is really pasty and always beautiful to see, the colors are vivid and the complexion always velvety and delicate in shades, to date you can find it in good condition at 600 euros ... super recommended !

canon_20_f2-8Canon EF 20mm f/2.8 USM

Pros: Brightness, accuracy and AF speed, sharpness already from f2.8, blurred, minimum focus distance, general yield, flare resistance, little distortion, cost

Cons: Optics a little forgotten and very underestimated, it could have become perfect if it had been F2, good but discreet flare resistance compared to other optics such as the 17-40

Opinion: Recently purchased and impressed me immediately... a lens that in my opinion can satisfy many genres, from landscapes to the street, up to portraits and ceremonial works... its speed and precision, even on machine bodies with not fast and recent focus make it suitable for "fast" and silent situations.... a blurry then gorgeous for such a wide focal, sharp already slightly at 2.8, closed at 3.2 or 3.5 already makes much more... to very closed diaphragms it retains well its resistance to flare, which really amazed me, overall then has a pasty and delicate yield, it is not an L series of course but by its standards you can work very well professionally, for less than 350 euros I highly recommend it to everyone !

canon_20-35Canon EF 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 USM

Pros: Sharpness, autofocus accuracy, very compact and lightweight.

Cons: flare resistance, distortions, tend to be dark.

Opinion: Purchased to temporarily replace the 16-35... I already knew what I was buying but overall it did not disappoint me at all, overall it has a very standard yield with very light and delicate colors, there is a good sharpness ratio already in TA but with closed it becomes very sharp, the focus is quite fast and quiet, you can work very well even in fast conditions, I recommend it especially to those who do landscape and for those who work on the road.

canon_85_f1-8Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM

Pros: Strong sharpness, super speed and precision, gorgeous overall yield, pasty colors, microcontrasto, cost in the used

Cons: Construction too small, if it had been a little older it would have had more ergonomics... otherwise given the price really nobody.

Opinion: What to say, a classic perhaps of canon house, small but pure poetry, perhaps comparable even to the brothers of the L series, the first thing that amazed me is the sharpness already at 1.8, closed then it becomes sharp as a knife, of the general yield and colors then we do not talk about it, a pastiness and surprising delicacy .... I am also faster and much more precise than the 28-70 that I have in the kit, excellent focal point for portraits even in full length, for American plans then there is an absurd detachment with a splendid blurry ... it is true that it has some aberration but it is easily manageable in post, as for the construction if it had been larger it would have been perfect, I really recommend it to all those looking for a portrait optics not concurrent, that costs little and has high performance, highly recommended !

amazonbasics_zaino_trolley_fotocameraAmazonBasics - Zaino trolley per fotocamera

Pros: excellent materials, aluminum handle, mobility, well distributed weight, space, compactness.

Cons: tear dividers that don't "stick" easily

Opinion: Recently purchased for about one hundred euros, a lot of space in a really very compact trolley, the materials are really excellent, hinges and pockets seem to be designed to last a lot, unlike other backpacks it enjoys many more spaces for accessories, wheels and mobility of this trolley are phenomenal, although it never gets stuck in transport, the periscopic handle is very robust and in true alumino , inside there comfortably go two machine bodies with two large mounted optics, the inner lining is very light and fluffy, the only flaw is the dividers, with somewhat poor Velcro in my opinion. For everything else given the comfort and space I really recommend it to those looking for a good large photo trolley at a low price !

canon_5d2Canon 5D Mark II

Pros: File quality, ISO management, colors, dynamic range and detail yield, ergonomics and robustness, battery life

Cons: for his age practically none, for the rest his pros and his cons know each other all

Opinion: Purchased recently, it marked the historic transition between the older generations and the new ones in the reflexes, for just over 500 euros I brought home a real jewel... I come from an old 5D and I have to say that between the first and the second there is a big difference... there is everything that in the old 5D dava "annoyance", raw file management between iso and wonderful colors, 21 megapixels all to be enjoyed with a really excellent dynamic range, you can shoot us quietly at 1600 iso without having to correct in post, I would like to know who really claims that the workability of the files is limited because personally the recovery of the shadows I found quite satisfying, as far as the focus the center point works very well even in low light and with ultrasonic optics knows how to be fast enough, for a professional even today can be really a great choice considering the price in the used, especially in ceremonial works and events, after ten years past I can really still recommend it to everyone !

tokina_16-28Tokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 Pro FX

Pros: Sharpness even at full aperture, closed is as a razor, made professional, colors, construction and robustness, distortion free and affordable price.

Cons: Little resistance to flare (but not entirely tragic) focus slow, tiring and sometimes uncertain that make it not suitable for fast situations.

Opinion: Bought by very little waiting for a Canon 16-35, what to say, I hit the mellow yield and a sharpness engraved on the whole frame, the highlight of the details satisfies me fully, the colors are soft but a bit ' chilly, with the balance you have to work a little '... For the rest offers a very solid construction and very comfortable, the ring nuts are hard but you can get used to... The autofocus is not very slow and obviously varies according to the focus of the camera body but not being ultrasonic is not a splinter... I do not recommend it to those who have to work in speed conditions... All in all it is a lens that in my opinion can really do a lot of competition to the big houses because of its performance, highly recommended!

huawei_p20liteHuawei P20 Lite

Pros: Display resolution, lightweight and thin, Versatility, real bokeh effect, great front-facing camera, crisp images and good noise management, pro functions, speed and great materials.

Cons:

Opinion: Purchased from very little, a "light" version of the p20 and p20 pro as well as you know, first impact I was electrocuted by the beauty of the display and the comfort of the design and the robustness and compactness of the materials, for the moment then with the applications I turn out to be really fast, the camera has a very different color management from the smartphone I had previously (and that has nothing to do with) at every way it churns out very sharp photographs and with sharp photographs and with sharp photographs. really great standard blur ratio, especially in the macro, as far as the bokeh effect I highly recommend it because it works really well, I do not recommend it much for photos at night, the noise management is really excellent but the sharpness compared to photos taken at sunset or in the morning is really very very reduced. The battery recharges quite fast but it doesn't seem to hold very strong, the only real weak point are its "only" 3000 mah that compared to the other martphones and other models of the higher end of the Huawei are really few. For the rest I really recommend it to those who want to try a mobile phone of this range and this brand !

canon_28-70Canon EF 28-70mm f/2.8 L USM

Pros: Construction, brightness, sharpness, colors, blurry, AF precision, L-series yield, to date stands up well with successors

Cons: for the age he has practically none.

Opinion: I needed a zoom to use for events and ceremonies, obviously with a great opening but didn't want to spend a lot of capital... So I decided to buy this "veteran" of the L Canon series zooms... what to say, excellent construction, fluid and very robust rings, for large hands can be very comfortable, the lampshed then does its duty really well. From a technical point of view it is already sharp enough at 2.8 although in post I still have to increase its value a little, I expected a much sharper and more decisive flare resistance, especially on values of 28 and 35 millimeters, but in post production you can recover ... little distortion and in my opinion an excellent yield even on the edges, the colors are really excellent and faithful to reality, even if they remain stationary to what were analog machine bodies and perhaps the first digital ... for those who want to take home a bright L series zoom all do I really recommend it to everyone !

sigma_24_f1-8Sigma 24mm f/1.8 EX DG

Pros: Construction, 1.8, sufficient sharpness even in TA, design, brightness, overall yield, minimum distance of focus and blurring, price in used advantageous

Cons: chromatic aberrations, inaccurate at times, distortions

Opinion: Purchased by very little, a really excellent lens, both for its construction and almost professional design, and for its opening that allows you to have so much brightness and exploit it at full power... good sharpness at 1.8, closed at 2.8 is obviously much sharper and sharper, with a soft blurry and well detached from the subjects... in the higher openings there is some aberration and overall it distorts a bit but with post production you can fix it, I thought the focus was slower since it does not have an ultrasonic engine but it is quite fast although a little noisy... Paid 260 euros for all the qualities it has is really a bargain, if you want a bright and well-built wide-angle and you can't spend a capital, I advise you !!!

sigma_50_f1-4Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM

Pros: Dimensions, materials, lightning fastness, colors, contrasts, tones, sharpness, aesthetics in general.

Cons: Imprecision AF, better to use it on machine bodies with micro adjustment, compared to the canon has less resistance to the flare ... of a bit soft to 1.4, easily consumable rings (typical of sigma)

Opinion: Purchased recently to replace the canon 50mm stm, what to say, large aperture, excellent colors, made very contrasted in features, especially where there are many details, excellent handling and strength, comfortable for big hands, is not like the others " fifty years "that having a small construction, then make the handling and grip of the machine body difficult. The autofocus is really lightning thanks to the ultrasonic motor, in my case, however, at the time of shooting I found small changes in axis with the central point, which strangely does not happen with the side ... good sharpness when used in TA, but at 1.6 is better, 1.8 is completely sharp and sharp ... I highly recommend it to those from a fifty 1.8 can not pass to fifty high-end, also because in the used it sells for just under 260 euros .... highly recommended !

yongnuo_yn600_ex-rtYongnuo YN600EX-RT

Pros: Price, HSS, functions quite the same as the home competitor, compact, softness of light, balance, measurement, power dosage, construction, coverage from 20 to 200mm, charging time

Cons: the materials are certainly not the same as the Canon, but it has quality plastics, the laser focus could be better, a little pesantuccio but you get used to it...

Opinion: bought very recently, I was immediately amazed at the charging time, the softness of the light and the balance followed by a good measurement, constant and precise, the price then for the functions and overall is really a bargain... obviously it's not an original Canon but in this case this competing house did a really good job... I recommend it!

Pros: Stabilization, fast engine, design, compactness, sharpness, size and strength, focal.

Cons: little light, barrel down alone, 28mm maybe a little 'pochetti.

Opinion: I bought this lens recently and I must say that perhaps they have made too many bad reviews ... sure it's not a 24-105 and has a lot of difettucci, but as zoom is really good, sharp enough, but not too much. ... stabilization is in my opinion excellent, per se is very robust and also large and easy to handle ... a little dark but not so much as the classic 18-55 on FF can be a good buy for all do very little and be useful in many situations!

canon_5dCanon 5D

Pros: A legend... resolution, colors, sensor sharpness, unique detail yield, incarnate and landscape rendering, exceptional file workability with incredible shadow recovery, enviable display for recent machine bodies.

Cons: Nothing considering the age

Opinion: Before buying this "Dinosaur" that in my mind for some factors holds very well to the current bodies, I came from a canon 30D, as many know the jump from apsc to full frame was shocking, I immediately noticed the depth of color and the depth of field ratio that changes totally, but beyond that I can say that for how much I am currently almost thirteen years old, I immediately noticed the depth of color and the depth of field ratio that changes totally, but beyond that I can say that for how much I am currently almost thirteen years old, I immediately noticed the depth of color and the depth of field ratio that changes totally, but beyond that I can say that for how much I am currently almost thirteen years old, , still remains a very valid machine body, which offers an image quality comparable to current sensors, without too many megapixels and densities, so much sharpness even with scarce optics, try to believe ! Not to mention the rendering of the incarnates and eyes, for portraiture, if associated with thick lenses, can really make you fall in love... Great display meter, with an excellent dosage of times, in raw the recovery of shadows is really formidable, underexposed photographs or overexposed points do not do at all fear ! Unfortunately the focus is not the best, especially in the points, for which I limit myself only and exclusively to use the center... beyond this I can tell you that I am really satisfied, I own it for a year and it has never disappointed me, super recommended even today for those who treat portraits, landscapes and small parties... !

Pros: Gust, charging time, accuracy

Cons: lack of speaker panel

Opinion: Purchased recently, after three flashes of competing brands (and you see ) for commission work... what to say, excellent measurement of the TTL, always very powerful and fast, its colors are really good, unlike competitors that tend to "ingall" the balance of white... for the gusts then he is always ready to fight ! Being an original product then there can never be communication errors, always ready to shoot with an incredible charging time... Also great for the exterior, delicious in the interior, delicate in the shadows although sometimes the speaker should be used. they could do it only a bigger hair, maybe with a wider display but it does not bother me, otherwise the white panel makes it feel missing unlike the competitors... large but inefficient.... right now you can find it at 100 euros, highly recommended !

Pros: Solid construction, sharpness, focal, focus precision, large front lens, lock button, reliability versatility, lens hood

Cons: lack of stabilization, 2.8 only 17mm ... nuts that easily consume (typical sigma) focus cumbersome but fast

Opinion: I come from a sigma 18-50 who still regret, although it has given me a lot of satisfaction, after his "disappearance" I decided to buy this model (now old) but that does its duty, excellent sharpness, very comfortable focal , especially for travel .... focus a little noisy but fast, very precise if you only use the central point! in this version unfortunately it lacks the stabilization, but this does not matter much, though the previous sigma I never utilizzata.rn

canon_50_f1-8stmCanon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM

Pros: Construction, value for money, sharpness of colors and pasty yield, wonderful blurry, brightness, usable in all conditions

Cons: Size, STM engine, SOMETIMES inaccurate AF

Opinion: What about... I had to sell my old fiftieth (with pain) for extremely urgent reasons and now I can finally enjoy this new version completely improved ... I was hoping that the sharpness in TA was a little harder, but it is certainly better than the old version, the bokeh produced is completely round and not shaped like the previous one, I was really amazed by the new STM engine really fast and quieter than the previous one.... it is a fundamental perspective for me that I hope I do not have to abandon until the arrival of more advanced fixed optics, I highly recommend it to those who begin to produce small portraits, because its yield for close-ups is really fantastic, I also use it to work on parties and events ... For a short time I switched to sigma version 1.4 but only beautiful aesthetically... I immediately returned to the Canon version, after all the first love never forgets ... highly recommended !

Pros: Excellent image quality and sharpness of the small sensor, Bright colors and punchy, dynamic range, very comfortable to carry in any situation .... and menu display 3.0 "rn

Cons: It 'still a compact camera, lack of elasticity of the file when subjected to post-production, quite heavy files.

Opinion: I received a gift at Christmas in 2011 and it is perhaps this baby she was to make me fall in love with the photos, very light as a feather for me, practically pocket, but the image quality really satisfying for those who want even "experience" an approach to photography, landscapes is very exciting and this is an advantage for those traveling ... even in the macro mica is no joke and can defend well with files of a reflex .... rnche else to say ... it was really a gift wonderful, who introduced me to a new world, albeit unconsciously, a reality that would soon become my reason for living ...

canon_30dCanon 30D

Pros: ergonomics, burst, really impressive dynamic range.... colors, simple resolution but with good detail, good raw.

Cons: the display, noise from the 500 iso, autofocus sometimes swinging.

Opinion: I come from a 20D and I have to say that it has everything that in 20D made me unnerving, spot measurement, (a godsather for portraits), improved iso stops, picture style processing with sharpness and nice manageable contrasts, a sensor that keeps simple and not too "digital" resolutions in my photographs, very nice manageable raw files , focus points improved compared to the 20D, display finally larger and well readable (I do not know why everyone discriminates against it and find it horrible), a body that has a beautiful design and well robust, very comfortable and with well sliding rings, iso 1600 usable if you correct the noise well ... obviously the 8 megapixels give me some limitations in crop, but for someone like me carves out the shots little, I don't know how much of a problem it can be, the autofocus is completely improveable, but after all, since I don't take sports photography I don't get too many kidneys.

Opinion: It 'a lens had with my Canon 20D, very convenient to the focal, suitable for many situations, especially on the road, its sharpness for me is not satisfactory, especially at small apertures, good engine focus, I recommend this aim to who is the first weapons, it is better not to use it when you absolutely want to produce work, but the rest remains a lens convenient for some trip along with another camera body!

canon_75-300_v2Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 II

Pros: Many millimeters of APSC become a super telephoto. If used in the fuzzy portraits is very pleasant, convenient construction.

Cons: not stabilized, soft after 135mm, sharpness just acceptable

Opinion: Bought this lens before leaving for a trip, used, I must say that traveling can be very convenient to resume details very far, I used very well in portraits and I was quite satisfied, although not stabilized and rather soft, I must say it took me quite a bit of time, I recommend it to those who want a lens with focal length without spending a fortune (it is 50 €)

canon_efs_17-85Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM

Pros: Good construction, USM real fast, good stabilization.

Cons: Really poor sharpness, brightness non-existent, is annoying autofocus camera bodies not recent (error 99)

Opinion: I bought this lens a while ago and then I sold because I was disappointed fully, a really beautiful building, a USM motor is very convenient and a good stabilization, even if the first generation, but it is a lens all smoke and no fire, very dark, it is preferable to use the flash or iso high even in areas not too dark, very comfortable, however, the value of (17) wide-angle, when used with small apertures may be comfortable in the landscapes, maybe on the road, only in the light of sun even if you suffer from flare ....

canon_efs_18-135Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS

Pros: Focal comfortable, good construction, nuts comfortable, good stabilization

Cons: sharpness little more than discreet, dim, focusing slow.

Opinion: There is little to say, I have used this in mind several times in the events, is an optical fairly quiet, very comfortable to use, has a good zoom range, in the portraits is quite good, especially when used with today's APSC, would not recommend it for night photos because the stabilization is good but remains a lens very dark, like a little all the "f 3.5" canon of the house, it does not seem very durable as it is very plasticky, for macro and landscapes maybe traveling is not evil.

canon_efs_18-55is_v2Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II

Pros: good stabilization, light.

Cons: ring focus that makes disgust, focusing slow and noisy, totally dark, sharpness slightly acceptable, but the rest is an optical kit.rn

Opinion: I had this lens in almost gift, on 1100D and APSC today sharpness is not bad, the stabilization to be a kit lens is very effective and well reduces the blur, is the classic lens entry level to use for a little just to make a bit of practice and then store, it is best to use it in the morning or when the sun is shining again, nothing more.

canon_1100dCanon 1100D

Pros: everything needs an entry level, without unnecessary frills. good detail rendition even with optical scarce, good color gamut, forzuta battery life, very simple in resolution and also in the commands and functions, high dynamic range, fun to use.

Cons: construction materials and uncomfortable plasticosissimi, made unwatchable at high iso, (but it is a entry level), the display sometimes misleading ...

Opinion: It 'was my first SLR, and every day I regret more and more to have it sold, was simple, very creative, intuitive and full-bodied with optical thickness gives photos, for those who want to learn how to take pictures I think there is nothing better , accompanied me for two years, two years to say the least beautiful, even for those who already have a lot of experience the board, perhaps to put in your bag and use it when you have to hand your camera body confidence!

sigma_18-50osSigma 18-50mm f/2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM

Pros: Good construction, excellent stability, sharpness, HSM fast, smooth, quiet, light.

Cons: 2.8 not steady, dim or bright only in the right place, little resistance to flare, but in some ways can be helpful, not very resistant to wear, short throw, the value of "50", is perhaps a little bit.

Opinion: I purchased this light recently to have a wide-angle focal to use at parties, is a goal which is very convenient, fast in focus, very good sharpness, it was a constant 2.8 at all focal lengths would be great for those who want an optical stable, fast and with a sharp focus not exaggerated and often uses the flash can be very useful, has made a pretty good when properly exposed, it always use for my portraits strobisti, the thick is a little tantrum with the focus, but the focus and stabilization is still great! the only flaw is that you wear easily and requires care and attention too, especially for the dust and dirt, right now I would change only with a 17-55 or a 10-22! ; D

canon_50_f1-8_v2Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

Pros: Sharpness, brightness, aperture, blurry, price

Cons: sharpens only to from 2.8 onwards, very slow focus that scrapes the eardrums, materials too plastic

Opinion: I was just over 19 years old and wanted to try the 50mm for the first time on APS-C, at the time I dreamed of having a full frame and I was taking my first real steps in this wonderful path... from the beginning I fell in love with the great openings and this lens perhaps marked the history of the fixed canon cheap but quality, leaving out all the defects of slowness, noise, really kinder egg plastics and a sharpness of the lenses visible only from 2.8 onwards (but which could also vary according to the machine body) I began to take many photographs without ever stopping , so much so that I would have believed that I would never want to leave the 50 in the future... (so it wasn't) but I owe a lot to this little but great little gem now vintage... currently I have the STM version, better practically in everything but I will hardly forget the experiences lived with the first fifty, to date if you have a very limited budget and still want to experiment with a fixed optics they give it to you, do not miss it !

canon_20dCanon 20D

Pros: Body robust, foolproof, searchable less than 150 Euros, very simple functions, ISO 1600 usable, sensor sharp even with low ratio of megapixels, if used for good in RAW with the right optics, can crank out shots remarkable like the performance of existing camera bodies.

Cons: technology a little 'dated (but still eleven years), lack of spot metering, display really ridiculous (not even look at most) lack of processing picture style, color range a little off, low dynamic range .. white balance tending orange, 12-bit color with a few nuances.

Opinion: I purchased this canon in 2013, before I possessed a 1100D, initially, I thought the seller had cheated me in full, not a camera body easy to master for those coming from newer bodies, over time, learning to use the raw and using different perspectives, I realized that I was holding a gem, in the interior with the right openings can give shots warm and harmonious with natural light, really good in the pictures. Nowadays it is very outdated in terms of resolution, auto focus and ISO performance, but is still probably a good machine. Right now I want to change it because I need a camera body with professional performance, but do not sell it, and I'll keep it as a second body!.
