Pros: Bokeh, weight, size, manufacture (I used to write "everything" before:) )

Cons: I would have preferred it black, noisy stabilizer when used on RP

Opinion: Optics had for 11 years. Sold to finance the purchase of the 3 corresponding fixeds: Viltrox 85mm F1.8 RF, EF135mm F2.0, EF200mm F2.8. I think that after this perspective there are two ways out: either the fixed or the stabilized biancone. I opted for the former. Until the advent of the fixed, the best optics possessed. Used on 50D, 6D, RP. Wonderful blur, with the current sw there is no problem for the sharpness to TA at all focal lengths. For me, it remains the best buy (used) for those who need versatility for focal ones. Returns warm, soft portraits both outdoors and indoors. On the RP I shot at 1/30" at 70mm and at 1/40" without shake. The stabilizer made "cash" on the RP, rather noisy, much more than on the 6D. For comparison: I had the EF F/4.0 L IS triad (16-35mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm) for 4 years; well, the other two optics did not come anywhere close to the performance of 70-200 in terms of IQ.

Pros: Sharpness, solid construction, AF speed, IS stabilizer, tropicalized

Cons: For an amateur like me: none

Opinion: Coming from a Canon 55-250mm IS STM I found myself with this "sacred monster" in my hand and it made me understand immediately that there is a lot of substance. After a couple of test outings I can say that unplugging it from the car is often a disappointment; at the racetrack he immediately demonstrated his strengths: lightning-fast AF, stabilizer and a sharpness to which I was not even remotely ready, absolutely a pleasure to use. The only drawback (but it is a personal factor) is the focal ring that I would have preferred a little harder / frictioned, for the rest I would buy it again tomorrow.

Pros: AF, build quality, stabilizer, blurred

Cons: Dimensions

Opinion: Switching from plastic lenses to my first telephoto lens in metal structure gives palpable satisfaction. It has a remarkable build quality that is also reflected in its optoelectronic performance. AF is fast and accurate. The stabilizer does its job, it's a bit noisy but it works as a scare. The blur at 70mm is not particularly noticeable but at 200mm f/4 it returns incredible images. The weight of less than 800g is not bad at all and overall it is balanced. The hood is part of the lens kit. The only negative note for me are the dimensions: 20cm in the backpack are uncomfortable if you want to do a session with a small and compact bag or backpack for a relatively "short" telephoto lens of only 200mm

Pros: Construction,Robustness,F4 constant, sharpness,weight

Cons: Nothing if you are an amateur like me

Opinion: It is useless to talk about the construction as I am not competent enough to make technical judgments. It is an L series, tropicalized, constant F4 aperture, stabilized. This would be enough but then the colors it returns and the excellent sharpness already at full aperture. I use it on a 6d old and I managed to take several photos of basketball in arenas and on an eos m50 where it is a bit unbalanced for weight reasons but the results are the same. I think it's the perfect telephoto lens when you consider the size.

Pros: L series; Ergonomics; Sealed; Stabilized; Solid; Well built; bright.

Cons: It is addictive; If he had been black, it would have been nicer.

Opinion: I use it with the stabilizer off, but the stabilizer-free version isn't tropicalized, which is why I took this. F4 opening I think is right. I recently mounted a Canon 1.4X III multiplier to him, bringing it to 98-280 f5.6, but I don't notice the difference, in the sense that I don't find it dark. It's not super bright, but very bright metrics don't use them because my favorite openings oscillate between f5.6 and f.16, so here we go.
