Pros: light weight

Cons: bad picture quality / very strong cromatic aberration

Opinion: This is a lense i only use if i am taking b&w pictures. As a standard zoom lense it is just to bad in picture quality. It has so strong chromatic aberration that the pictures are useless. Even for private purposes. Maybe i have a bad copy of the lens, i don?t know. But i would not propose it to anybody. The build qaulity is also very poor. The silver ring aplication on the front part of the lens went loose. It is just an optical element, but it should not happen on a canon lens in my opinon.

Cons: usable only by f8 up, construction, clarity, dark, focus Unusual deco painful, collecting dust, opens by itself but we demand from a kit lens?

Opinion: took time with canon 600D, was an excellent lens to start and understand what were the focal more congenial to my way of taking pictures! I rnquasi all the photos I made in 18mm, and some have even had important merits and have been awarded ! rnci but I want to say that this is only usable by f8 f9-up, because at smaller apertures is best to take pictures with a cellphone.
