![]() | Fujifilm XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR Pros: Compact. Light. Internal zoom. Tropicalized. Excellent on 40 mp. Focal length 16. Etcetc Cons: Brightness for low-light photos. Price if not in kit. Opinion: Bought used great deal replacing the old and famous 18 55 ex kit intrigued by the 16mm and the optimization for the 40mp perfect for the xt5 with which I use it. I was really surprised. It's a really good all-rounder zoom. Stra convenient for compactness and size as well as internal zoom. It is also waterproof. It is not stabilized but the new Fujis are stabilized in the camera body. Exceptional optical performance in my opinion at all focal lengths and in the range f3.5 - f9. Also tried backlight at sea, I found neither flare nor particular aberrations. Instead, I appreciated excellent exposure, excellent colors, excellent sharpness. In short, very beautiful and satisfactory photos. I recommend it, you have fun, especially when you want to travel light, for street, reporting and, in my opinion, also landscape given the wide angle at 16..... sent on October 30, 2024 |
![]() | Viltrox AF 13mm f/1.4 Pros: Maximum F1.4 aperture, build quality, excellent performance, price etcetc Cons: I didn't find them. Opinion: Viltrox has churned out a little gem with exceptional value for money. As already read, I confirm that the dimensions are not very small, comparable to the 23mm f1.4 of the parent company Fuji. On the other hand, to have a 1.4 aperture and such good performance to date, the price to pay is the size. However, very portable and very balanced with xt style camera bodies (1/2/3/4/5 and xh all). In my opinion a must for street, architecture and landscaping. As well as indoor photos, even family photos or similar given the wide-angle focal length which, if used well, does not have noticeable distorted effects. Advised! sent on June 07, 2024 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR Pros: Brightness, precision, focal length, size, ease of use, colour rendering, image rendering, waterproofing. Cons: nobody? Opinion: One of the best fuji lenses. Definitely the best 23mm. Especially for those who love fuji fixed lights. They have an edge. The only drawback as always is the price, but that's how it is to have this level of quality. I highly recommend it as definitive along with the 56mm f1.2, also the discontinued model which is super. sent on January 03, 2024 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 R WR Pros: Fast and accurate Af Lightweight and small Waterproof. Very good photos. 50 mm equivalent Cons: F2 ? Diameter? Opinion: I was skeptical of the "new" generation fuji f2 lenses, so I was going to buy the historical brother 35mm f1.4 Then, reading different opinions, I convinced myself to try it and I was surprised and very, very happy. It is a lens suitable for street photography and does very well even in portraits. Of course, it can also be used for other purposes. Excellent af, beautiful colors, sharp and precise, blurred pleasant at full opening. Very "manageable" given the size and featherweight. Also WR. Nothing to envy, indeed .... In my opinion a little gem, even considering the new cost and that if you want is used less than 280 euros. Seeing is believing. sent on February 12, 2023 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 18-55 f/2.8-4R LM OIS Pros: Excellent "gem" usually in kit Cons: It's not like a fixed Opinion: It is the first fuji lens that has accompanied me since its purchase in kit with the xt1 camera body. Since 2012 it is still in production and if we read everywhere it is a super estimated goal. Fuji gave us an exceptional gift, just compare it with the plastic counterparts of other famous brands.... better not to say anything else. It is in my opinion one of the most successful zooms ever, especially when compared to the price although constantly increasing. The range 27 - 80 mm equivalent is one of the most suitable for any type of photography except macro or super zoom niches. It can give wonderful shots, especially at apertures between 5 .6 and 11 mm and in the intermediate range of the zoom. For the rest, everything has been said, including one of the "few" defects or the low light. But in the face of such a "gift", everything cannot be wanted. Soon I will try his direct antagonist 16 55 2.8 fixed , whose yield I am certainly superior. But the weight....... ?! When it will be I will be able to tell you .... sent on July 09, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 23mm f/1.4 R Pros: A certainty Cons: May have defects Opinion: Lens sold and bought back 3 times. The next one will be the 4th, but if it is I will go on the last similar Fuji model. This, for those who want a must spending relatively little on the used market is a lens to try absolutely and, if love will be, to keep. The focal length is perfect, basically a 35 mm, fixed lens used by the greatest photographers of the past. A school not to be missed, its use. All the technical merits can be read on the many and exhaustive reviews. I say that especially but not only in street photography is really exceptional and super fun, and with a very bearable weight as well as perfectly balanced on bodies type xt1 / xt4 etc. And don't tell me that it's analogous to the f2 series.... IT IS NOT SO! Be careful though if you buy it. Make detailed tests, especially at a minimum distance af and at the various openings, on images clearly distinguishable in detail (eg white writings on the black of the camera body or other lens) and cropped. If everything is ok, grab it on the fly! sent on July 09, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 16mm f/1.4 R WR Pros: All... or almost Cons: Focal length "difficult" Opinion: Exceptional lens from a technical point of view, one of the best fuji, together with the emblazoned 23mm 1.4, 56 1.2 , 90 2 etcetc I confirm and subscribe to all the notes and positive details already described by the other reviewers and I give vote 10. Exceptional x architectural photos. Personally I only understood that for me it is a "difficult" focal length, in the sense that I used it little. The architecture x my use I can take it home even with the legendary 18 55, although it obviously does not offer similar performance to the 16. It's the only reason I gave it away, buying a 10 24 which, however, I'm giving away. So my exclusive prerogative. On the 10th this 16th is worth them all. sent on July 09, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS Pros: Complementary to 18 55 Cons: Many Opinion: Purchased a year ago and kept a few months enticed by complementarity with the 18 55. In fact if you are satisfied cin these two zoom le jeux sont fait. At that time, however, I also bought the 90mm f2, and as a foregone conclusion I noticed the big flaws. As I always say I love the fixed, the precious ones, and there is no competition cin the zooms. But while the 23 1.4 did not make them pass the desire to use the 18 55 that I still consider exceptionally successful lens, the 90 made me hate the zoom in review of which I could not appreciate a lot. I can't say anything else. Technically they say a lot about others. I sold it. sent on July 09, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS Pros: Great wide angle and excursion Cons: I love the fixed Opinion: For those who prefer or need a zoom with a wide angle excursion (15mm equivalent) to standard (36 mm) is a lens whose success is well known. Excellent image quality plus easy portability without excess weight. As per the title, I personally love the fixed, so I think I will give it away, although I appreciate it very much. sent on July 09, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR Pros: In my opinion a must have Cons: Nothing compared to the price Opinion: For those who love to travel very light and especially for street or walks in the countryside or mountains is a lens to have and jealously preserve. Combined with bodies type xe3 or similar makes the machine almost a compact. The yield is more than good with daylight, as we are used to from fuji. Of course it is not a blade when compared to fixed caliber 16mm or 56 1.2 etc, but it costs less than half. It is a guarantee because its simplicity of construction makes it indestructible. Equally excellent in the first version. Taken recently changing from the first version. Cult toy! sent on July 09, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 27mm f/2.8 Pros: Lightness, portability, solidity, simplicity. Focal as the human eye. Cons: Lack focal length ring brightness limited. Opinion: Very fun lens that in good light churn out great photos. Very light and very small, perfect x a walk down the street. The focal length is equivalent to 40 ff, which is the human view. For me the ideal in some contexts. It is at very low prices. Obviously it does not replace the 23 F1. 4 but anyway to have and great choice if you can't spend it. sent on October 20, 2018 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 56mm f/1.2 R Pros: Construction, balancing, focal length, brightness, blurred, image quality, pleasantness, etcetcetc Cons: Finding them is hard. Perhaps the diaframmi diaframmi ring and especially the lack of wr Opinion: A fantastic lens, unmissable in the kit. Suitable for portraiture, yes, but also great for much more. Photographer predominantly Street, reportage and a bit of landscape and nature. I find that with 56 you can take many photos in all these contexts. Obviously they serve shorter complements, I opted for the 16 mm F1. 4 and 23mm F1. 4 Great trio that I highly recommend after trying many combinations. Going back to 56, it has unbeatable brightness and sharpness, especially if you slightly increase the contrast. The only mole? You wouldn't take him out of the machine body anymore. P.S. I also owned for a year the 90 mm f2 which for others I read be better. I don't agree, I gave it away just to take the 56, and I would never go back. The 56 is almost perfect. sent on September 09, 2018 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR Pros: Sharpness, blur, image quality, auto focus ETCETCETC Cons: I don't know. For me long focal, but I do mostly Street and landscaping. Opinion: Disinterestedly as it just sold, I think it is one of the best bright fixed of Fuji House. I highly recommend for portraiture. At full aperture he churn out images with an uprooso blur. Closing a bit is a blade. Maybe slightly bulky, but not annoying, but nice to me. To have at least once. Now I'll try the 56mm F 1.2 sent on August 29, 2018 |
