Pros: - extremely useful range 10-24mm, - small, light, comfortable to hold, - fast and silent AF action, - excellent color, contrast and counter-light quality.

Cons: - VERY VERY expensive compared to same quality Canons and Nikons (EUR 950, in Spain), - NOT weather resistant (!!!!!!!), - no proper aperture ring with marked f-stops, - VERY VERY expensive compared to same quality lenses from competition.

Opinion: I think this is one of the best wide zooms for hobby and amateur aps-c sensor available today. But why is it priced like a pro glass ????? And if it is intended for pro, then why is it not weather resistant. ??????? I am, once more, puzzled by Fuji politiks with lenses. Their bodies are meant for (rich) amateurs and I think they are very good in their niche (I have two Fuji bodies now: T2 and T1, and I am considering selling the T1 and buying H1 to replace it (to get ibis)). But Fuji lenses? Fuji lenses are a joke! When they are good, they are not WR, when they are WR, they are dark, when they are not dark, they are extremely heavy ... And whichever lens you chose, they are two times or more expensive than Nikon and Canon glass. I hate this situation. And Tamron and Sigma do not even bother with Fuji lens mounts .... But, 10-24 is, a bloody expensive - and definitely good quality - lens. It gives, sharp, crisp, dynamic and lively images. YES. If I find a s/h one at a reasonable price, I will buy it.

Pros: Color rendering, ac seal, sharpness, colors, construction, weight and size

Cons: Falling lines

Opinion: I got to try this optics for a few days, beautiful in all or almost... It would have been considered the best apsc optics of its kind, well built, good colors, sharp from 10 to 24 already from f4, refraction not even so annoying on the 26mpx up to f8, but not even exaggerated to f11.. in short everything perfect except that it tends to suffer a lot from the vertical lines especially between 10 and 18mm and by memory much more than other lenses of the same segment that I have owned on Nikon, in short, managing the lines on this lens is a bit difficult, in short ok for landscape, less in use for street or events in my opinion , maybe just a matter of habit.

Pros: Build quality, image quality, size

Cons: Wr absence, 10mm edge distortion

Opinion: After a year of use I can undoubtedly say that the 10-24 is one of my favorite Fuji lenses. Versatile lens and potentially suitable for a thousand uses, it allows you to range with the composition and to fully enjoy the optical and constructive quality, which will certainly give you beautiful satisfactions. Af is also good. As flaws I detect the absence of tropicalization (now introduced in the new WR version of this lens) and the distortion at the edges that is felt especially at the slightest focal point and that must inevitably be managed when composing the image.

Pros: Image quality, focal, compactness.

Cons: Lack of tropicalization.

Opinion: Fantastic, my favorite lens without any doubt. For someone who makes landscape is the ultimate lens. The 10mm focal is stunning and even zooming up to 24mm allows you to space a lot in composition. Of course the f4 is not very good for milky and stars, for which I use the Samyang 12mm, but the diaphragm that is used 9 times out of 10 is from f11 to close. For the focal point that is, it's also decidedly portable and lightweight, the only problem is the fact that it's not tropicalized, that's why there's the Mark II.

Pros: Weight, construction, stabilization, retractable lampshed, very useful focals (at least for me), excellent sharpness from 5.6 onwards, very pleasant and precise manual focus. With the XT20's APS-C sensor still discreetly bright.

Cons: As someone else has already pointed out, with the 10-24 mounted on the XT20 the Flash is almost unusable; Bokeh modest, flare often present if the sun enters the frame. Maybe jpg cools the colors a little (compared to the 1.4 that return warmer shades) but not if I'm sure. From 12' to 10' distortion to a terrible barrel, practically unusable internally, but maybe it is the laws of optics and it is not the fault of the goal.

Opinion: I took it 6 months ago, used in perfect condition paid well under 500, and I'm very happy about that. Among my 3 Fuji objectives is the one I use the most. I love the landscape and in my municipality (Gorizia) the beautiful views are not lacking, which is important in these times of orange zone. A few hundred meters away is Slovenia which is in the Alpine landscape one of the most beautiful places in Europe (now you can not go... but Covid will end). When I go out x photo I bring this 10-24/f4 and the wonderful 35/f1.4. I held 23/f1.4. for its magnificent bookeh but since I have 10-24 (which at maximum focal is almost the same and weighs little more) I use it little, with the other two I have everything I need. The image quality of the 10-24mm f4 is perhaps not that of the f/1.4 (or rather the 23mm and 35mm the others do not know them) but the small gap is largely compensated by versatility. The colors seem to me a colder pelino and obviously the comparison on the Bookeh does not hold (but at f4 at 24mm there is also that, not very deep but of good quality, see my photos below). In the central area from 5.6 up it is just sharper than the 18-55 f2.8, just make a comparison of the same frame and you see immediately, and also (here the difference is seen more) of the 14 f2.8 that I got to try. I wanted the 14 fixed x weight and footprint patterns, but after a few comparisons I kept the zoom 10-24, which is the best possible compromise (Fuji APS-C) between focals, image quality, brightness, weight and cost. Maybe I'd prefer a 12-35 (who knows if it exists or they'll make one...) because from 12' to 10' it has a really annoying barrel distortion. I tried (on the kind advice of you Juzisti) a couple of free tools like Raw Therapee and Capture by Fuji but nothing to do: to correct the barrel I think you need Photoshop, that is to pay.
