Pros: sharpness; autofocus speed; Colors; Tones; price

Cons: for the price it has no CONS

Opinion: Premise: I am someone who does not know about it; I am not a professional and in the stars it is not written that I will become a master. The lens is of excellent quality; I have posted a gallery of sample shots in various scenarios. For me it helps to get beautiful photos, the colors are vivid, the tones are there, the sharpness satisfies me. I recommend it to everyone, except professionals, who as they are paid to take photos, it is right that they equip themselves with the best and most quoted equipment. It's perfect for Street Photography, I don't think it's good for other purposes.

Pros: Compactness; construction; value for money; character, if you like.

Cons: Uncertain AF in low light; not stabilized; character, if you don't like it.

Opinion: I got this lens, with Sony E mount, to have a compact and brighter alternative to the 16-50 kit that I sometimes like to use. Compactness and lightness are fine; my Sony a6000 with this lens remains pocket-sized. The construction seems to me well done; the aperture ring is a bit awkward but OK; the cork is badly made and always comes off; the back cap has a USB connection with which you can update the firmware (very simple operation). That said, let's see how it performs in practice. First: at the price of 130 Euros (new on Ebay), I think there is little to complain about. The autofocus is quiet, and when there is light, it works well; with little light it often struggles and, sometimes, it goes crazy and you have to do a "reboot", that is, detach the lens and reassemble it (turning the camera off and on again is not enough). In low light, I noticed that setting the focus area to "center" works better. Too bad there is no stabilization; but from 1/30'' upwards you can shoot by hand without problems. This is a lens with such a big character, which you may like or not. Strong vignetting up to f/8 (but from f/4 it corrects well in post); flares that can be either absent or so absurd as to be beautiful; a "swirly bokeh", less accentuated than the Helios 44* and therefore less invasive, which I find very nice. In my profile you can find some photos to get an idea. In my opinion, the best use of this lens is obviously for street photos, for interiors and especially for short-distance photos (objects, still lifes, flowers, animals, etc.), where it has excellent sharpness. You may or may not like his character.

Pros: Construction, image quality, price

Cons: Vignetting

Opinion: All in all it's not bad, on my X-T50 and its mega sensor it's fine, especially if we compare it to the price at which it is sold. The only real flaw that I would like to point out is the exaggerated vignetting. Basically it doesn't bother me too much, but actually you notice a lot. For the rest it is built well, the autofocus is fine, the rings are well frictioned, all in all for the price it is great!

Pros: Price, Size, Weight, Vignetting, Cap to update FW

Cons: Slow MAF, Vignetting, Slow Iris

Opinion: I bought this optic about 6 months ago, new, on Amazon, arrived, mounted and always kept with me for a weight factor and comfort. All in all I have to say that it's not bad, in fact it's a good alternative to the original Fuji. If it is purchased with the intention of taking a reasoned type of photo then it is fine, since it is quite slow in the MAF, sometimes uncertain, slow is also the aperture that creates that feeling of flickering when you look at the eyepiece, quite annoying for my taste. The fact of the TA vignetting (which disappears at about f4) is good for those like me who are looking for that effect in the shots, so you don't need a post to insert such an effect; it can be a con for the simple fact that if I don't want vignetting I'm forced to close the aperture and sometimes, especially in low light, it's not so advantageous, a bit like the MAF that in low light or in areas with little contrast suffers a bit. Small lens hood, not so functional, I would have preferred a larger lens hood to tell the truth, the cap can be lost since it is tiny in all respects. Excellent idea to insert the connection to the PC from the back cap to update the FW, useful yes, and no, since the last update dates back to a year ago... In conclusion, good in itself but with some limitations, but in the end for what you pay for it it can also be there.

Pros: Price, Size & Weight

Cons: Vignetting, focus in dark areas

Opinion: Bought used for 120€, initially I wanted the fuji to take me on my trip to Japan, but given the opportunity to try the focal length I couldn't miss it. During this trip he stayed on camera 90% of the time, eventually replaced by the 35mm 1.4 fuji during the evening. Kept the package hanging around my neck all day every day and honestly I loved it, vignetting yes present and the focus sometimes is a bit damning, but the photos I took for my rookie level I love them. I'll leave the evaluations on sharpness and colors to those who know much more. The focal length is sometimes limiting as already written by Juza on the fuji da 27, now I would like to try a 23mm for personal whim, I was aiming for the sigma. (If only pancakes did, but then the X100 would lose its sense, wouldn't it?) TLDR: approved if bought around 100€, very fun if you accept its compromises
