Pros: Vintage charm

Cons: Operational slowness

Opinion: Taken a few years ago at 65€, I must say that as a rendering of the file I was really amazed - used both in close-up and generic shots, it reminds me a lot of the Kodachrome 64 I used in the 90s - the 28/200 L zoom with fluorite lens, justifies the purchase alone, even if at 28mm the barrel distortion is really excessive - the limits of the camera are essentially of operational level - slow and cumbersome ignition - archaic viewfinder and LCD (but totally articulated) that make a correct composition somewhat uncertain - not very intuitive to use the settings through the various buttons ... nothing to do with the rational and intuitive logic of recent Canon systems - it is not really light nor compact but the ergonomics is good - maf area too large that can create some problems in close-up or macro (.... yes xche' is a good tool even with additional lenses) - the vintage charm and the rendering of the file justify the purchase as long as you are not in a hurry to shoot and adapt to the unintuitive operating logic

pentacon_200f4_zebraPentacon 200mm f/4 Zebra

Pros: Sharpness

Cons: Missing tripod bracket

Opinion: Paid € 30 but given the yield, it is worth much more - I use it in Canon both on the 24mpx aps-c and on the 26 mpx FF, mainly x close-up set with extension tube or additional lens, then at intermediate diaphragms where it is extremely sharp, almost at the level of the Canon 400 f 5.6 L (but also at TA does not disappoint) - being built vintage (glass and metal), It weighs the right, but the lack of a tripod bracket is felt and the shape of the optics does not allow you to adapt one - having to use it with tripod or monopod you must adopt a rather long plate under the back of the machine (not really the best ergonomics) - absolutely positive note, the long excursion of the Maf ring that is braked the right

Pros: Cost/Performance

Cons: Duration

Opinion: I had a pair with dedicated charger (the Canon charger does not charge them correctly) - paid less than half of the original battery only - in use with the originals on m3 / M6 / Rp - after about 2 years of honorable service, with performance estimated at about 80% compared to the originals, (the machine however does not indicate the remaining charge), they began to swell, almost simultaneously - no consequences, but having already 6 originals, I preferred not to risk ... Bin!!! - that said, I think that on an ML, x my type of use, you need at least 3 batteries, so given the cost of the originals .... 120€ vs 30/35€, I find them absolutely to consider

tokina_szx400_f8reflexTokina SZX 400mm f/8 Reflex MF

Pros: Dimensions - optical yield - M42 attachment

Cons: Maf's Ring

Opinion: I've tried it before, the Samyang 500 f 6.3 because I love the blurry detail and the strong detachment between the focal planes - good optical yield (x the type), but too voluminous and with maf ring running too short x ensure the millimeter maf that these optics require - the Tokina is doing slightly better optically - it is definitely + compact and of good workmanship - the maf ring has the right stroke, but we're still not there -- too fluid -- if you mount a PLC, as you rotate it, the maf moves, if you adjust the maf .... moves the PLC ( a nightmare, they could put a block or make it + clutch - the Samyang 85 f 1.4 or the kamlan 50 f 1.1 do not have this problem ... and cost less) - between the merits, the minimum maf at 1.15 meters (which can be reduced with extension tubes) and the M42 attachment that allows full adaptability on my Canon 1d/ m6 old/ RP - in practical use, the greatest difficulty is in managing the very small PDC, in particular (of course), at distances + short (f 8 helps, but not much) - tried in close-up with tubes, if you do not have collaborative subjects it is very difficult to bring the shot home - with static subjects ... it is only a matter of habit of manual maf - the price: the quality of an MF optics is established mainly by the optical yield and precision of the maf ring - in this case, the optical yield is acceptable but the maf no ring - with 260 € today, take vintage Zeiss of much higher quality, but so much so ... I love the bubble blurry - Sic!!!

canon_sx50hsCanon PowerShot SX50 HS

Pros: Flexibility of use - today at a really inviting price - excellent choice x those who just want to have fun with photography

Cons: ... all the limits of a small sensor

Opinion: Socket used at 140€ a few months ago - for a long time I wanted to try a compact superzoom and already having both reflex and ML bodies and optics from the Fish-eye to the 400mm, I wanted to try to go further, without too much expectation - I leave out the comparison with interchangeable optical bodies, comparing myself to canon G12 and Canon Pro1 --- using it on Raw, without going beyond 160 iso and 800mm eq. it gives shots, in relatively static conditions, that amazed me - this is its field of action and in these conditions makes life hard to other well + lent solutions --- certain you can climb up to 1200 mm eq and a little also with iso but .....! - then it turns out that it has excellent close-up potential, which has good ergonomics and an average dignified optical yield - its limits + evident, in dynamic shots, where Af servo does tenderness and the lag to the shutter button makes you hysterical (but I am used to 1d) - the iso seal (over 160 better not to push) - the burst, good only in the specific jpeg function, but loses the quality of the file - viewfinder and LCD (fortunately totally articulated), at the union minimum - compared to the g12 with the excellent 28/140 eq. it does not lose much as yield, but the longer focal length allows close-ups even to subjects + distant - compared to the Pro 1 with 28/200 and fluorite lens, it loses a little in the optical yield and "old style" colors that the old Pro1 gives - in the " canonical " macro, since all 3 at the minimum focal point, allow shots at very close range, the Pro1, prevails but working only in jpeg, while g12 and sx 50 are basically ewuino, but the sx50, wanting to use pop-up flash, (maybe shielded), has the limit of an overly protruding optics and need an adapter (such as the Pro1), x use an annular flash - basically, we are talking about a multipurpose body, with good overall performance, not very bulky and perfect to take with you on excursions where you could shoot from the macro , to the panorama, to the fauna even at long distances - ( on a subject at 30/50 meters I prefer it by far to the 1d4 + 400 f 5.6 L ..... light permitting of course)

Pros: Optical and construction/weight quality and footprint/cost

Cons: ... Not stabilized?

Opinion: It looks born on purpose x M bodies without efv.... It's really all in your pocket - good yield even in macros with extension tubes - essential optics in construction, standard in focal and brightness (a classic 35mm), Lilliputian and very affordable - compared to the 35 f 2 is I find it "anonymous" in the yield, but less critical in the transition from TA to diaphragms - closed, where, however, the 35 is chromatically -pleasant and -engraved (reporting sensations not direct comparisons) - ultimately, if 15/45 is the "disinfected" handyman, the 22 is the "meditated" handyman, which does not even require too much care in the composition (distortion in the norm), with the plus of the brightness of the "disinfected"

Pros: Essential optics in an M set

Cons: 15 mm distortion

Opinion: ... for 2 years with the body m6 Old, it had to remain the only native optics, since the aim was to flank the reflex system aps-h or be the alternative to a compact quality in "light" outputs - to date it joins 11/22 - 22 - 28 macro - Kamlan 1.1 - - - - the focal and'.... perfect x a generalist use, not luminous but consistent with the M philosophy that favors a modern construction and weight/footprint to a minimum - very useful unlocking (now does not bother me) and the stabilizer - unique mole, the distortion at 15 mm and the yield on detail (my specimen is not a "blade", in the sense that it does not reach the detail of 22 but not even 11/22, but it is not even as mediocre as many describe it) - tried in macro with extension tubes... amazed me with really decent results -- with a ridiculous cost and a minimal footprint of the set of pipes, further expands the range of use of this optics - note: I did not do specific tests but in macro I used closed diaphragms (and this would confirm the previous reviews on the criticality to TA) and the distortion is very marked compared to 11/22 (which however is the best non L wide angle in Canon) - ultimately: remained stationary x almost 2 years, gold if I have to go out light, stay mounted in the car side by side with the Kamlan f 1.1 and tubes...

Pros: The overall yield

Cons: I can't get used to the double dial

Opinion: In use on Canon (aps-c reflex and ML) and aps-h - a welcome gift (I have many vintage optics m42 and C/Y) that on the first created me many problems - at the first tests, great blurring, although in the close-up pushed kneads a little - but maf maximum really too limited 5/6 mt - tried on a zenith body the problem improves but not by much - then I find that many have modified it x the macro (probably my specimen is among them) - tried in these days on Canon M6 and 200d with extension tube, gave away shots from the excellent detail

Pros: Q/P ratio-led illuminators-Versatility

Cons: Range of use of LED illuminators

Opinion: Excellent solution The equipping of a macro optics of integrated light-the focal choice, guarantees a rather flexible use, from macro, to panorama, to shots + generalists-all with good quality from the point of view of surrender, combined at a competitive price- Excellent in close-up shots, where the reduced MAF distance and the 1:1 ratio make it suitable for "free-hand" use-too bad that the built-in illuminators, although flexible in management, are less effective than 5/6 cm, unless they want to lighten slightly Shadows-in super-macro mode instead, the illuminators are really effective, but managing the Click to "Free hand" becomes + complicated, given the minimal minimum distance of MAF to 13 mm, which while closing to F. 16 on a 28mm and APS-C sensor, fails to ensure that PO Chi mm of PDC-in essence, a multipurpose optics, which integrates perfectly with the M system, economical and performing-perfect to be put in the bag with 11/22 and 50 stm (or other combinations), X have many options in little space, without sacrificing the quality

Pros: Second flexible body

Cons: Ergonomics

Opinion: I replaced, as a second body, the first G12 with M3 then with M6---The dimensions are a double-edged blade-on the one hand they allow a great transportability (traveling often in motion or hanging on the shoulder straps or backpack as a second body), on the other the many ring nuts and p Ulsanti are welcome but too crammed into a confined space and it is almost impossible to manage them without displaying them directly-on the quality of the files, I also find that the difference compared to the M3 is negligible but the speed of AF has improved a lot in Particular in keeping a subject in fast motion... however still insufficient-+ complete and rational the supply of nuts and buttons but their fluidity is at the level of a compact camera (the buttons too "flush" and the nuts definitely not flowing, Except the central one that is too much and is activated often accidentally)-improved compared to the M3 the point (area) of MAF now available in 2 dimensions, on the M3 was too large-indispensable the possibility of being used (the whole series M) is With native optics from the human cost, that light optics of the EF-EF/S series that unbalance not a little-2 things incredibly castrating pedophilesgenerally this machine, (in relation to its price range), an optional BG that would make it use with important optics very + easy and fully articulated LCD in place of the current that allows the movement on an axis, but does not allow to find a position free from reflections with strong sunlight-in short: equipment and yield of good level and compatibility with all types of optics, from Vintage, Al fixed bright, at 400mm x against size too minute x manage all this potential and ergonomics consequently painful-all the features offered are the best a photographer could want, from the manual commands to the commands "touch" On the LCD, but everything was cured better and on a body less "anorexic"----update: On the field I find it disappointing the accuracy of Af in critical conditions-shooting for example at close range often the MAF is not accurate, probably does not evaluate Adequately the contrasts and the area in focus does not correspond to the center of the bounded area (which is only indicative of course) from the dedicated rectangle-the situation does not change by varying the size of the MAF area, working in One shot-this had led me to To think that some of my optics suffered from problems of MAF, but in reality the problem is the M6-essentially, just like the M3, on many occasions the MAF is decided on the edges of the indicated area being fooled perhaps by a small area with greater contrast.... A lot of close-up shots thrown away, pity (the old Canon G12, still taking into account the greater PDC of the Small + sensor, was definitely + slow, but + precise)

Pros: ----

Cons: Q/P

Opinion: comparison with Motorola Moto G (which replaced after 4 years of loyal service) and Samsung Galaxy J5 (I tried)-let me start by saying that I am a very simplified use, no games or specific uses-only calls, navigation and use as Navigator or other a few specific applications ... x pics if I can avoid it! -Touch ... begin the pains, the old Moto G was + sensitive and immediate but the P8 if play on par with the J5---screen: obviously the Moto G remains the pole (and would like to see), but not x color fidelity where exceeds the P8 and J5 (Samsung in this respect continues don't like)-true you can intervene with white balance but ....! ---Audio: good pitch and volume, slightly better than the Moto G but ... totally useless handsfree in the car, where the motion G doing his dirty work, the P8 just whispers (true that with age will also be half deaf but x my needs one the met the other does not)-ric section: place the source (the signal) varies over time, the motion G was + selective (in critical condition occasionally but rarely lost signal), otherwise you followed the conversation-the p8 loses it in equal measure but there are many situations where when the signal cala, I lose but lonely croak ... annoying! -even the simple navigation "page break", in spite of the Ram virtually doubled, on P8 + slow---camera: motion G could be expected shortly (and I knew it)-after 4 years undoubtedly improvement you see on P8 but not as I would have expected-i l J5 from the little I've seen he's doing much better--conclusions: at the same cost, after 4 years, the ratio Q/P smartphones I've tried (I don't have any other direct experience), is significantly lowered, oppure.il Motorola Moto G was a Smartphone ... really well successful!!!

Pros: Touch on LCD - Raw and JPEG quality - Canon - hdr compatibility and free handshake with low light (3 and 4 shots in succession) in camera

Cons: AF area too wide - questionable ergonomics - tilting LCD - just AF acceptable AF reactivity (with non EfM optics)

Opinion: Currently used exclusively with EF optics via original adapter and with vintage optics - the touch is comfortable and responsive allowing to cover the entire AF frame with AF points - it impressed me the sensor output in general but it surprised me how much it can produce in critical situations using "snapshot light" automation and the ability to assign functions to specific ringers or buttons - materials and assembly look great - AF spot area too wide, focusing on small subjects hooks up the background - LCD only tilting (did it take so much to make it fully articulated?) - sleeves with fluidity from cheap compass - sensitive buttons and wire, it is practically impossible to find them on the fly without looking at them, being crammed into a tiny body you risk to press that close, since they do not feel to-the-flash almost useless flash with mounted adapter plugs that shield it - even with 50 f. 1.8 STM mounted on the adapter is unbalanced, you have to cling to the body instead of supporting it and this makes it + slow all the maneuverre on the controls - focus peakig, a pretty almost unnecessary function, is uncertain unless the subject is stationary and well away from the background - the menu is good - essentially good cpn machine useful automation and voted for its use with the native optics - I find it indispensable the optional viewfinder (expensive) - ergonomics apart I'm fine both as AF or as rendered with sigma 15 mm fish eye - 35 mm f 2 is --- rn

Cons: with cipher ring adapter does not register correct usage diaphragm (.... maybe with a programmable adapter ring)

Opinion: excellent in using close-ups or shots in urban contexts (on aps-h), maintaining a good field angle and reasonably containing the distortion where the 15 mm fish eye is excessive - well done at the constructive level and ring and at cost "0" as I was given - good min. of maf - good chromatic rendering in my opinion quite realistic

Pros: Integrated sharpener-weight-lense

Cons: Maf minimum

Opinion: In use on 1dIII where, (as only 10mpx does not allow appreciable crops) it often travels in conjunction with a kenko 1.4x dgx pro - good yield, even to TA (acceptable with 1.4x where it improves considerably if it closes at least 2 diaphragms) - Fast AF but .... I was hoping for better (70/200 f 4 I thought it was fast) - weighing the right x for free handshake though I would have liked adding 1/2 kg x I would not have missed the stabilizer at least x my use - the integrated lint is a "cool" (if it does not break) - the maf at 3.5 mt , (I'm used to the 1.6 mt of Sigma 400 f. 5.6 or macro) and it is rather limiting, especially with a few lump sums, but it is remedied with an extension tube and repays (compared to Sigma) at medium distances , Where it still has good detail - great choice, also in relation to the price on the market of the used, x who seeks quality, mobilization and possibility of d To apply without too many renunciations - certainly oneAF + fast ....!

Cons: Limited use to static subjects

Opinion: Had in test x a week - use a Canon 1dIII from the fantastic optical viewfinder and are accustomed to using optical MF from fish eye to medium telephoto - contrary to what I thought, the optical quality and '+ that dignified and in any case it is the last problems --- the maf, without the use of a tripod and live view and 'practically impossible, x want the shallow depth of field due to the long focal length, but particularly because of the maf ring, smooth and precise but with too short a ride x 'optical requiring maf millimeter (especially for distances less than 10 meters) - said that, with static subjects and a lot of patience, gives good shots, (conventional optical views do worse), with the characteristic of offer a break between the focal planes "monstrous" (my 400 f. 5.6 pales in comparison) ---- returned xche 'x my kind of shots (freehand or monopod) was unusable

Pros: Ergonomics-flexibility-optical viewfinder stratospheric-Quality / Price-double CF / SD slot

Cons: time data transfer from card to built-LCD memory just enough if you want to shoot in Live View-lack Auto ISO

Opinion: in use for almost two years - bought to replace the 50d x prevalent use in avi-fauna --- today I still feel it a body by the ratio Q / P very beneficial, xi following reasons: --- I have small hands but his ergonomics and balance are fantastic, both with optical by the size and considerable weight (400mm), which with the tiny Zenit Industar f. 3.5 (... I've also used him) --- 10 mpx: when you are forced to heavily cut a file, the loss of detail you start to hear, but in most situations are + than enough (except not primarily face Macro), but these are always 10 mpx allowing shots freehand, without the risk of micro-blur, with times unimaginable to bodies with + (eg .: 400mm + ext. 1.4x 1/320 ... "... a person stopped of course) --- sensor that produces realistic images, and does not degrade, (as often do modern + sensors), optical + outdated or those that are not quality at the top (I ... It wants to cry when I read of some highly popular SLR: great body but that requires xbe used to the best, high-quality optics, sic !!!) --- optical viewfinder from the superb quality, which allows me to work in manual focus even with the old optical vintage ol 'Samyang 85 mm - I glass mounted to that effect dedicated to maf manual, it loses in brightness when used with optical focal sup f. 2.8 (but the end is not a problem, I continue to use the 400 f. 5.6 and subject to conditions of low light, does not compromise the overall visibility ... always thanks to the bright and large viewfinder) - then I found out I had in hand a highly flexible sealing machine --- to iso: we are realistic !!! we say it is generally used up to 1250 ISO, but then it depends, - (noise has different weight if it appears in a street, in a B & N or macro or avi-fauna) - in nature try not to exceed 640 ISO, but if the lighting conditions do not present strong contrasts I push myself up to 1250 ... over the loss of detail becomes too obvious and requires increasingly heavy interventions + PP - for instance in comparison with the 50d 1d IIIIt allows better recovery of shadows but Iso equal loses detail + --- ISO Auto: there are no, or rather there is a sort of adjustment that I personally, as x is set, I find it absolutely useless (in fact in Shutter priority TV, with a very short time, it forces the machine to work on the whole opening aperture, thus activating the automatic ISO) --- double Slot: useful and + configurations (I use the CF x recording and SD x saving see ... ever !!!) --- does not require very high performance cards of the latest generation and with two 16 GB (CF and SD) you are set (... and you'll save) --- lag at the click nonexistent and re-activate after the stand-by minimized noise --- it clicks: .... hint question ??? --- Battery: mine have I believe, five years ... 1200/1300 shots that you want to + !!! --- Be sure, if you buy used, it is equipped with the original battery charger (... + has functions, can load two simultaneously ... and new costs almost € 300) --- ... so una great machine, which needs to be able to work quickly, calibration, particularly AF according to the conditions and subjects, (otherwise. ... you may lose 7 of 10 shots), which has everything you need to fingertips, customizable intelligently (... though not on ISO), but you do use with satisfaction even in one-shot or completely manual optics, x enjoy the pleasure of photographing

Pros: well it built -discretamente crisp and clear TA

Cons: TA becomes difficult maf, but also through the excellent viewfinder 1d III

Opinion: focal "strategic" of APS-H - gives great satisfaction from the point of view of color that sharpness to those who love vintage optic - nothing sensational but, for example, the yashica ML 50 f. 1.9 does not compare particularly TA but even at f. 2.8 --- the focal wide-angle view is difficult maf manual through the viewfinder - the separation between planes is very soft and gradual and this helps to center the maf, but gives excellent results in terms of photo

Opinion: while using it with a sensor undemanding (1D III), I've never been satisfied in full x the lack of detail rendition at the widest apertures - I could understand on a wide angle (but kiron 28mm f. opening is equal to 2.8 better), on a 50mm I find unacceptable --- I think it's better to turn to his brother f. 1.7 it is in good standing

Cons: optical viewfinder ridiculous - gust nonexistent

Opinion: today often use the body as a second or as the main tool when I do not do photo naturalistic --- excellent in close-up ambientati x the reduced distance of maf (1cm on 28mm) and articulated LCD - enables all adjustments typical of SLR (with fumble some more commands) and solves many practical situations trivial, as the brightness of the LCD max at the push of a button or the ND filter --- the quality of the file is of a good standard, especially in J -peg in difficult conditions, using the appropriate pre-selections - in Raw best not to exceed 400 iso --- useable in functions and excellent x underwater photography with expensive housing optional - video --- the minimum wage remains high in the price ' used and would go on recent models + x only have a burst that the G11 is almost non-existent!

Pros: size and weight - cost -a ratio quality / price

Cons: non-APO-chromatic - position manual dial maf - built-in hood sliding too - hard to find - spare parts

Opinion: bought as second tele (I have already used a Sigma 400 Apo-Macro), if you appreciate the size and weight, although some details could be solved better - for example, the built-in hood (optimal solution) is too smooth and too easily fall while the dial maf falls right at the point where you should grip the lens, forcing actually unnatural to handle the anchor bracket to the tripod (obviously using this freehand) - the optical performance is far that despicable (even at full aperture) as long as you do not run into too sharp contrasts (the classic white object on a dark background), situations in which you may see the classic purple border around the edge of the subject (however, remedied the situation in PP) - it accepts the duplicator but in fact it works, with the necessary limits only on 1d series (Canon x) - l 'AF is not fast but acceptable - on 1d III for example, resulted Sigma + fast + but uncertain in critical condition with very little contrast (with identical sensitivity settingAF drive) - these should be considered as first impressions, follow shots and detailed evaluations + and let's not forget that this is a view that costs a ridiculous figure .... almost !!!

Pros: practical cost-

Cons: stability

Opinion: just tried mounting the 50d + BG (without optics) --- I find the push-button system gestibilissimo although does not warrant a fine adjustment - I was afraid of tipping problems (with the bg raises the center of gravity), but in fact it is quite stable - always x the same reason, the high center of gravity, the machine, but not the tripod wobbles x a few seconds before stabilizing (and I would like to see given the weight and imbalance) then a cable remote shutter release would be appropriate, even with systems + light - unforgivable the impossibility of vertical shutter - convenient open it, place it in the chest ... and rediscovering an extraordinary stability in hand-held shots ... I think its best talent! In my example ... you are just low-cut rubber feet ... but who cares! --- In all, if you have provided a foothold and you do not charge excessively (not born this x), provides a good support when you need it --- but its quality is in my opinion the best it can be use as a handle or leaning on the chest x increase stability & agrave; --- Saw the price ... highly recommended!

Pros: Quality Optics - weight and dimensions - price

Cons: of canon can only be used to f. 5.6 - AF fast but not as much as you would like - AF does not hold the doubler - I do not like the Booken

Opinion: Optical dated but only economic alternative to the legendary Canon 400 f. 5.6 where as the yield is not very different - very good but even at f 5.6 on canon, having cip old version enables you to manage partitions only on the bodies + 1D old - so just f --- otherwise. 5.6 or the room indicates ERROR - the optical performance is good, at least up to distances of 10 / 15mt then begins to decline, although not conspicuously --- just does not hold the doubler unless strong conditions of light and contrast; a shame because the quality loss (1.4 x kenko) is not so drastic! Focus min. 1.6 meters ... a record that expands the possibilities of use in the field or close-up close-ups in passerines confidants - note: a Racconigi (temperature in the early morning in January of -2 °) I had to wait 10 xchè everything was locked - I was told because of the internal lubrication obsolete, which tends to harden with cold - seems to be common practice to send it to a photo-repairer x re-lubrication with appropriate products - I do not like the Booken (reminds me vagamentity a catadioptric) --- In conclusion, the awareness of being in front of a product of approximately 20 years and so no spare parts in case of failure, with a ridiculous price you would take home a glass of good quality, versatile and manageable, x open the doors to nature photography without having to accept the trade-offs of the various 50-500 or 150 to 150 not being able to get there (economically) to the legendary Canon 400 --- update to a few months away in October 2014: the problems of locking the AF have been resolved by a photo-repair (nothing to do lubrication), 1d III of the AF works even with kenko 1.4X while slowing, but nothing dramatic since versions x Canon has a good reactivity - confirm the progressive deterioration in the fluidity of extraction hood due to the softening of the rubber coating - no problem of F / B will focus on 50 of them on 1d III --- optics optimized for short distances 3 / 7 mt ... well, the quality tends to decline progressively, better not go beyond 10-15 meters (probably tends to pay theforcing in a "macro" to 1.6 mt) --- today I consider it a good buy

Opinion: quoto as indicated by Gulla - great and cheap transition from amateur SLR (450d) to a body definitely real - honestly am a beginner x + manageable (in the file), the 40d - for the rest shutter speed meets the needs of those snaps photo natural / sports - with BG ergonomics is great and you can reach the dimensions of a series 1d - The battery life is relatively short, but is remedied by inserting 2 in BG - only thing that does not convince me is the AF, some also ' Optical does its part but with the 450d less wrong (although it must be acknowledged that some mistakes on fire a burst of 6/8 shots you put it in the bill ... and 450d of shots at max it was 3) - x as I personally think that covers the ISO sensitivity where you get the best compromise between shooting parameters and quality is 320 (pictured naturalistic course where shutter speeds are bound by a moving subject and optical tele) in any case I did decent shots ISO 1250 in good light and ... ISO 320 shots just acceptable in light condition critical (andI do not think it was the fault of the lens) --- ultimately a body that provides access to decent performance at an affordable price and on which it is worth investing in quality optics

Pros: Sharpness-MAF Ring fluidity-construction-brightness

Cons: No assistance x La MAF

Opinion: The perfect optics on analogue SLR becomes a nightmare in digital SLR! The free-hand MAF is a nerve-racking enterprise (in particular on APS-C where the actual focal length becomes approx. 130mm) and also enter the live view at 5x or worse 10x does not serve much if you do not use at least one monopod...! -Pity missing you totally (only exception the Nikon version X) of assistance (beep or LED confirmation of MAF) and.... Unforgivable lack the reference of the depth of field on the aperture ring (see old analogue optics)! Too bad because the optical quality is really good and optimized on the maximum openings (like any optical portrait that respects)! ---In conclusion if the use is limited to portrait posing or, accepting some compromise, you belong to the Nikon family, given the optical quality/construction and the decent price is worth to be intrigued by the retro taste of this view otherwise .... relax and resign yourself to use it at the openings that guarantee you at least a decent depth of field (paying the inevitable qualitative decay)! ----Update after 6 years of use: (currently in use on Canon 1d and ml Canon M6 SLR cameras)-with a good level optical viewfinder and a dedicated MAF slide, the MAF is at this point, a pleasant experience and in many cases, even + fast, compared to the use on ML- They remain to emphasize the problems of AC, but it is a scotto that you pay willingly working a bit ' in PP and that nothing detracts from the quality of optics-the fuzzy is very pleasant, with the right detachment between the planes typical of these focal, sharpness and detail are such To make it excellent (of course) in portraiture, but with good results also in macro, combined with the extension tubes-I find it perfect in APS-H, but a long hair in APS-C----I will evaluate in the future the AF version, given that TA or anyway at open diaphragms, follow subjects In irregular movement becomes obviously very difficult-20ina of optics in my possession, this is one of the few that I could not sell... if not x pass to Brother Af (since I often click in very dynamic contexts)

Pros: Additional manageability excellent grip even smaller hands x - x bodied understand what is really needed in a camera (at a very affordable price)

Cons: Burst ... unworthy of a camera - Viewfinder ... acceptable given the price range - lcd ... with bright external display data visually but vericare become a shooting - ISO sensitivity to 400 still ok if used x increase shutter speeds with good ambient light, but in the presence of strong contrasts can be seen ... and how!

Opinion: x good start shooting with "awareness" - deserves to be accompanied by quality optics but in any case x specific requirements, see photo nature / sports is strongly limited by the painful speed burst (like the rest of the series xxxd, even in the mod. + recent) and pictures indoors, in low light digests bad high iso --- other consideration, 12 MP are Pochini x lovers ... "Croppature"
