canon_rf50_f1-4vcmCanon RF 50mm f/1.4 L VCM

Pros: Yield, Sharpness, F1.4, L Series, Weather Seal, Continuous Ring, VCM Autofocus, great for both stills and videos

Cons: Not very light, expensive compared to the 1.8

Opinion: I bought this 50mm new after owning other 50mm both EF and RF. Starting with the EF 50mm 1.8 STM and then moving up to the RF 50mm 1.8 STM, the jump is remarkable. Meanwhile, we move on to a lens that has much more substance, which is tropicalized, L series and which has a much better performance (needless to say) and is also F1.4, which is the right one to have a professional lens without spending a fortune on the 1.2. The lens is really sharp and lends itself excellently to both photo and video. For video (I use it on R6 II) you can also use the ring (IRIS) that is present on the barrel to change the aperture continuously without jerks. (at the moment in the photo field it can only be used on R1 and R5 II, we will see with future firmware updates). Obviously, being an L series, it also has all the trappings in terms of tropicalization and lens hood and bag are included. If you don't want to buy the more expensive, heavier, slow RF 50mm 1.2 this 1.4 I think is finally the middle solution that was missing between RF 50mm 1.8 STM which is yes more compact but also much cheaper and slower to focus. Praise for the new VCM + nano USM hybrid focusing engine that allows you to have a very fast focus in the photo field, but also soft and gradual (without focus breathing) in the video field. Another note, compared to RF14-35 which on paper weighs only 40g less, once mounted in the car it gives me the idea of being decidedly + heavy, nothing tragic is clear, but the feeling is that. It remains a decidedly promoted perspective in everything. For me grade 9/10

canon_powershot_v1Canon PowerShot V1

Pros: Photo and video output, compactness, dedicated cooling for long videos, integrated ND filter

Cons: Lp-e17 battery not very durable, current firmware (1.0.1) not showing battery charge percentage, SD in battery flap

Opinion: I have been waiting for the PowerShot V1 since it was presented by Canon but unfortunately initially it was only put on sale in Asia and not in the rest of the world. Finally it has recently arrived here and as soon as I found one available in my area I booked and bought it on the fly. The camera was chosen for two reasons: as a light body for video (to be used together with the R6 II) or even alone in fast situations, and also as a compact camera body for taking photos when the output does not justify carrying a larger body with lenses and relative weight. I must say that already after the first tests I am really liking the camera both for the photographic and video performance, the file both in terms of performance and weight is very similar to that of the R6 II, obviously on R6 II it is in fact superior also because of the optics that make a significant difference. I had bought a Sony ZV-E10 II as a second video body but I found myself neither with the Sony menus nor with the general performance, as a Canon user for many years with this instead I immediately felt "at home" and I sold all the Sony equipment within a few days. A plus is certainly the dedicated cooling for video (very silent fan) and also the internal presence of an integrated ND filter that can be used both for photos (on or off mode) and in video (even gradually) For those looking for a very versatile compact camera, it is an excellent choice to consider. A couple of things that don't drive me crazy are: the LP-E17 batteries which in my opinion are a bit "scarce" but it could also be my habit of using the LP-E6 which is in fact superior. Another criticism of Canon is that in the menu there is no reference to the percentage of the battery charge (only the drawing of the battery that marks how much it is charged, but the number is missing. It would be convenient to have it) Last thing, but overlookable is the fact that the SD card is in the same slot as the battery. I therefore absolutely recommend this camera for both video and photos. For me grade 9/10

canon_rf70-200_f4lCanon RF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM

Pros: Compact lens, 70-200, stabilizer, overall rendering

Cons: External zoom (but it's inevitable)

Opinion: Coming from Canon's EF 70-200 F4 L (both the first smooth series without IS and the latest stabilized product) I must say that this was also an almost "obligatory" purchase. I used the EF 70-200 F4 L IS II with adapter ring on Canon Eos R for quite some time and I always liked it a lot, but in addition to the performance there was always the argument that its plus was the internal zoom but obviously when you carry it in a bag it has its considerable bulk. When I found the opportunity for this RF 70-200 F4 I replaced the previous one in order to have a lens with the same focal lengths, tropicalized, without having to use the EF-RF adapter and above all that in the bag it takes up much less space for its construction. Of course, in this way the zoom is external (like the RF 24-105 to be clear) but when you transport it both mounted on the camera body but also disassembled it is much more practical. The yield, needless to say, is excellent both in photos and videos. Together with the RF 14-35 F4 and RF 50mm 1.4 it perfectly completes my Canon kit

canon_rf14-35_f4Canon RF 14-35mm f/4 L IS USM

Pros: RF mount, 14mm, zoom versatility, relatively compact optics

Cons: External zoom?

Opinion: After years of honorable service and use of the brother (ancestor) EF 17-40 F4, which I have used for several years also on Eos R with the adapter, when I found the opportunity to get an RF 14-35 I didn't think too much about it and made the purchase. Let's start by saying that going from 17mm to 14mm is a nice advantage, the second advantage in my case was to eliminate even those 2cm or so of adapter ring and the huge lens hood that is part of the 17-40. Super versatile wide angle with focal lengths that I really like (and it is no coincidence that it is the lens that is most often used together with the camera body) and also stabilized. The only thing I preferred about the 17-40 compared to the 14-35 is that the zoom was internal while in the 14-35, the front element moves (slightly) and has an excursion outside the lens barrel. Apart from that, if having a stabilized F4 wide-angle is perfectly fine with you, for me it is the ideal match on Canon's R system. I think that this perspective is unlikely to leave my kit in the near future. Absolutely a Top purchase as far as I'm concerned!

canon_eos_r6iiCanon EOS R6 Mark II

Pros: Burst, Autofocus, 4k no crop (I use it at 25fps), Joystick, general ergonomics, internal IBIS, dual SD

Cons: Non-lockable mode dial,

Opinion: After years of using Eos R (purchased in 2019), and before that years of Canon SLRs with which I have always been comfortable, I decided to buy the R6 II for a number of reasons, including an excellent opportunity through RCE on the new one with an immediate discount at the checkout and a valid evaluation of my Eos R in trade-in. I must say that it has solved quite a few "problems" and limitations that were starting to be tight on the Eos R, such as the cropped 4K, the slow burst, the absence of internal IBIS and the lack of dual SD slots. I can only be very satisfied because from the various tests done, as far as I'm concerned, it has nothing I can complain about. The only criticism I can find is that the camera mode dial does not have the central lock (as there was also on the 6D MK1 to be clear) and therefore it happens to move it involuntarily when you take it out of the bag, a matter of seconds to put the correct mode back on but honestly you could have made an extra effort. The MKIII will be released soon but personally the MKII is amply valid and abundant for what are my current needs in the field of photos and videos. Personally it is a camera that I would recommend to those looking for a valid Canon Mirrorless body.

sony_zv-e10iiSony ZV-E10 II

Pros: Lightweight, excellent video performance, good battery, good photos (unpretentious)

Cons: No evf (but you know), sensor not stabilized, no power supply in the box and no usb c cable for charging in the box. Not the best choice for photography

Opinion: Camera taken mainly for the video field (and is also used together with another camera for double shooting) I must say that it is really excellent and is giving me a lot of satisfaction as a rendering of the final file and as a performance. I got it with the kit 16-50 lens (because they give it to you for 100€, not so much to use it, maybe I'll sell it..) and I combined it with a Sony E 10-18 F4 OSS and I find that as a kit it works really well (the 10-18 as far as I'm concerned is its ideal lens). Really promoted for the video side. As for the photographic side you can't complain about some shortcomings as it was born as a video camera that also takes photos (otherwise there are the alpha 6700, 6600 etc) but even if for photos I mainly use my Canon Kit which is the main one, with little weight and without pretensions to take photos of who knows what level (I wouldn't use it for photos that must necessarily be good and not replicable) for use in cities, travel, portraits with the right lenses gives a lot of satisfaction and churns out good files. For when you want to go out light with a very compact bodysuit that has recently been in the eye is fantastic. I can absolutely recommend this camera for the video field because it is really great, if your purpose is to use it mainly for photos it is better the A6700 without even thinking about it (or one of the other A6000 if you want to save money)

canon_rf24-105_f4usmCanon RF 24-105 mm f/4 L IS USM

Pros: Sharpness, construction, focal range, stabilizer 5 stop. Tropicalization

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Purchased new after the purchase of the Eos R, I replaced the 24-70 f4 L in favor of this. Years ago I had the EF 24-105 f4 L first version and I was fine, but it had the usual known flaws... moving on to 24-70 there was a quality improvement but the magic never started, it always told me little as slow. After buying the R I decided to take this 24-105 and I'm really happy, the range of focals is great and versatile even when turning with a single lens. The sharpness is great and better even at 24-70 f4 L, if you play with the 24-70 f2.8 II in my opinion. Absolutely a lens to have in the kit if you use the RF system.

canon_70-200_f4is_iiCanon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS II USM

Pros: Construction, image rendering, stabilizer 5 stop, lampshade

Cons: Tripod ring not included.

Opinion: Taken at the opportunity in place of my previous canon EF 70-200 f4 first version without IS. The construction yield is as good as ever and the white is a guarantee. Made great image, I will do several tests in the coming weeks but the improvements are all there. The autofocus is fast and much more precise and quieter than the non is and is first version. Finally the lampshade is grafted with precision (it has the lock hook) and you do not have to go to attempts to mount it. If you don't have the need or the ability to take the 2.8 (with also a nice weight/cost saving) this f4 is great. Rating 10/10

canon_eos_rCanon EOS R

Pros: Construction, photo rendition, high ISO output, colours, body grip, adjustable screen, EVF, price.

Cons: At the moment a few native optics.

Opinion: Definitely a car that initially hit me only in part and then only later convinced me to purchase. I have used several home cameras Canon (100D, 7D, 5D, 6D) and my idea was to replace the 6D with a 5D mark IV because the yield of the 5D mark IV I always liked but I never decided to 100% to make the switch. I then opted for the R following an offer in a store of the large distribution that allowed me to buy it in KIT with "smooth" adapter without VAT at a very interesting price and much lower than a 5D mark IV. Assuming that I didn't consider other mirrorless but I always thought of staying in Canon's home, the only viable option was the R, I loved the yield, the sensor is the same as the 5D mark IV, so I have the same yield but with less expense and with Pros and cons of the mirrorless world. I noticed that the battery consumption is relatively + high but nothing tragic, I can still do much more photos than stated by Canon, in an event I took 540 photos at the highest resolution, all TO the servo with a consumption of 30% of battery.. Canon from a battery for 300 shots... Do you reckon;)) Personally I still have 4 other batteries besides the one supplied with the machine and I can safely do all the necessary shots before I stay on foot. And in any case you can always opt for the battery grip if necessary. The single SD slot for me is not at all a problem, it was so even on the 6D and I never created any problems of any kind, the new SD cards are still very reliable so I'm quiet. It is not the most compact of mirrorless but it is really good and comfortable even with heavy optics. At the moment I recommend the purchase? Surely you, because you have a car with a great yield, a nice EVF and all the pros of the world mirrorless. I am not in the least regretted not having taken the 5D Mark IV even though I have to use the adapters for the EF optics, but these do not at all lose the yield they have on a reflex. I will gradually replace my EF optics with RF equivalents, as I have already done for the 24-70 with the RF 24-105 rated 10/10 (I'll update later on my review after further use)

canon_adapter_control_ring_ef_rfCanon Adattatore Control Ring Canon EF/Canon RF

Pros: Programmable ring, construction, functionality

Cons: Price

Opinion: I bought the adapter with a ring even though I was already in possession of the model "smooth" because the fact of being able to assign additional parameters (ISO type or exposure Compensasione) directly on the optics is very convenient. Certainly more practical and fast than having to switch from the Multi function button and then rotate another ring on the body of the machine. By shooting at 99% of the time in manual, I have thus access to the 3 fundamental parameters (aperture, timing, ISO) in a practical and quick way. If you have to buy it, because it is not included with the body of EOS R or RP I would definitely recommend this rather than the "smooth", true that costs €100 more than the other, but adds an extra function and is really comfortable (certainly better than the touch bar on EOS R ). For me the vote is 10/10 because in addition to the perfect compatibility without yield fall of the EF optics, there is more the addition of a new feature present on the RF optics, so in practice all lenses EF and EF-S become "virtually" as the RF optics for Controls directly accessible from the left hand on the lens barrel itself. The price is not nice if we want to see everything (220/240 €) but it is definitely a cheaper investment than the change of an EF lens from RF.

canon_adapter_ef_rfCanon Adattatore Canon EF/Canon RF

Pros: EF lens compatibility on Eos R body

Cons: If in the kit with the car no one.

Opinion: "Smooth" adapter for Eos R, mine was already included with the body of the machine as a Kit, so it allowed me no extra additions to be able to mount the EF optics that I have on the new body. There is no decrease in EF optics yield compared to DSLRs and with the compact body only 1.8 cm extra is added compared to the EF lens mount on DSLR. If you have to buy it apart, I would go directly on the one with customizable ring (I bought it and certainly is more comfortable) this is fine to adapt the lenses but clearly does not add functionality. Vote 9/10 Because it really allows you to still have a perfect rendition with all your lenses.

canon_efs24stmCanon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM

Pros: Size, sharpness, cost.

Cons: Only for Aps-C, absence of Lens hood, AF stm ring.

Opinion: I use now for some time this lens, I bought it new (the price is really accessible to all) and use on my 100d, especially for videos but occasionally also for photos in the outputs hyper read with only 100d and 24stm. For the cost it has is really a well built lens, little cluttered and the image quality is noticeable even at full aperture. The original lens hood is useless, I bought a Nikon metal one that screw in place of the filters and it certainly works better than the canon. Too bad it is a lens only for APS-C Unlike the 40mm pancake which is also for FF. Rating: 8

sigma_24_f1-4artSigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art

Pros: Construction, image rendering, aperture f/1.4, cost.

Cons: Weight/size (but it is a compromise to accept for the final rendering of optics)

Opinion: I state that I use the version for Canon and I bought my new lens in the store. I had to calibrate to-3 in my case, the optics but then it always remained in focus even at full aperture. However, I will evaluate the purchase of the USB dock for various calibrations and update firmware. I tried the optics a bit in different situations and at various openings from 1.4 to closed diaphragms.. The sharpness and contrast it produces in the images is absurd.. Really I hit this lens and I'm really happy, I always wanted the Canon 24 1.4 L II But the price is prohibitive on the new and anyway it stays high even in the used market, I tried with the new Sigma 24 (found in super offer) and I'm really happy with it. Two negative things are the weight and the clutter that you make feel, but you know that the glass weighs and the cap of the lens that is obscene.. Replaced with an original canon and I would say it is definitely better. Would I buy it back? Absolutely! I will probably evaluate other Sigma Art to match the other lenses I own:

manfrotto_pixiManfrotto Pixi

Pros: Compact, light weight, load capacity (higher than that indicated by specifications), price.

Cons: Without a L-plate, the vertical use of the reflex.

Opinion: The Pixi is always present in my bag, it is an accessory that I have behind at any time even if it could not serve, its compactness and usefulness that has made it really an indispensable accessory. I have also used it for long exposures and has not missed a shot, of course it is a mini tripod and you have to find the spot where to place it, otherwise you need a larger tripod. True you can not tilt the head for the shots vertically, but this would adversely affect the stability with the tipping almost certain of the equipment. I mount the Canon 6d with the 24-70 F4 and it holds smoothly, for any vertical shots I have no problems, since on the body of the 6d I have mounted an L plate and on both sides there is an additional hole from 1/4 "like the Pixi thread. Absolutely to have and I would buy it back with my eyes closed

canon_70-200_f4Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM

Pros: Sharpness, construction, colors, internal zoom, image quality

Cons: No tripod ring, no tropicalization, AF slightly noisy

Opinion: I bought this 70-200 used on offer in store at a super price and I tried well before finding it because it was the tele that I was missing in the kit. It has many merits and few flaws in my opinion, I also had a Tamron 70-300 VC a few years back but it never conquered me. I decided to stay in the house canon with all my optics and as such the choice has fallen on canon even for tele. Built very well by real L series, the zoom is inside the barrel and therefore does not extend, great thing. The rendition of the images is superb and despite being the 70-200 of Canon's cheapest, on the final rendering of the images there is nothing missing. Possible "problems", if we wanted to call them are the absence of tropicalization that is found only on the models is (F4 and F 2.8) and sometimes freehand the stabilizer. But the speech is always the same, with quick times the stabilizer is not indispensable and in other situations you can use a tripod in order to remedy the "problem". Another thing that makes a little ' crooked nose is the absence of the ring for the tripod, which is intended for the tripod but also helps a lot of free hand as you can lean on the palm of the hand and counterbalance the zoom, which weighs 705g but is still to be managed well V The length. The ring of the tripod you can find online non-branded canon but of third for an expense of about 20/30 € made in aluminum and I recommend the purchase. Last note, maybe it is my model but I had similar confirmations even from those who bought it again, that the autofocus is sometimes noisy in particular at the extremes of its extension, I think is also due to the project that is quite dated (it is almost 20 years) despite This autofocus is really quick. I would definitely recommend this 70-200, I was torn between the 4 models.. The Forbidden Dream was the 70-200 II IS f/2.8 But in addition to the cost also the weight to be taken behind was not recently, I had used the tele 90% of the time I would have had doubts and that would have been my choice, but for those who use it little like myself and the tele It is useful for some portrait but mainly for landscaping advice to find a 70-200 F4 smooth on the used. canon_6dCanon 6D

Pros: Image quality, weight, high ISO output, FF.

Cons: Commands (if you are coming from other body FF type 5d), 1/4000, joystick absence, WB available only from the rear display and not selectable with a dedicated key in the upper one.

Opinion: I introduced in my setup a 6d used because my 5d old is slowly yielding in several parts and as such I decided to change body to have as main body a newer and more reliable. It's definitely a great SLR and the previous reviews I think have already said everything there was to say. I can add that the only negative note that I have yet to digest (coming from Body 5d) is the arrangement of some commands/functions (example the selection of white balance not selectable in the upper display). They are small if we want, it is a matter of habit, the photos then speak for themselves once post produced. I was undecided between this and a 5d Mk3, I would have chosen the 5d Mk3 with my eyes closed, but the prices are still excessively prohibitive for the real use that I have to make and certainly the final rendering of the images is not inferior. canon_24-70_f4isCanon EF 24-70mm f/4 L IS USM

Pros: Well built, sharpness, macro function, lock key for transport, stabilizer

Cons: For me no One

Opinion: I bought it new recently at a great price on Amazon (about €250 cheaper than the store prices). My copy is October 2016 so very recent as a construction and I must say that after a thousand shots I really like. I took it to replace the purchased 24-105l used, it may seem a smallness but for me to have the lock on the barrel to not have the lens that stretches alone with the vibration of transport was crucial, the first series 24-105l is not provided with a small button Lock and stretch every time. I use it on both FF and it's a great all do, clear doesn't have the magic of a fixed, but it's a really versatile lens. I recommend absolutely to those looking for a very good and clear handyman, sure is an F4 and could be a bit ' dark in some cases (but this as all F4 lenses), the difference in price with the Big Brother 2.8 is quite a lot and the 2.8 loses the stabilizer.

canon_17-40Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM

Pros: Construction, colors, compactness, versatility on both FF aps-c, price, internal zoom.

Cons: absence stabilizer (sometimes), edges a little kneaded

Opinion: I had the 17-40 used long ago and I really liked it, for other needs I had to get rid of and I recently decided to buy it again (this time again). I must say it is really well built and a view that we must have in your kit, is lightweight and compact .. rnOltretutto my current version (serial number) was built in October 2016, and after several shooting I have to say that I find the most sharp even at the edges compared to optics that I had before. (Or are lucky or canon has made improvements in the construction of 17-40 new version) RNLA I always keep mounted on the 5D so as to have a wide enough driven to 17mm. rnIo recommend it absolutely, is a series L and as such stands for quality and durability, used vehicle lies at very competitive prices (except in some cases where, despite the lens both with several years behind is sold almost at the price of the new, which is about € 700 approximately). rnSe looking for a relatively inexpensive and versatile wide-angle to take it sub FFito or evaluated the 16-35 F / 4 IS if you are interested in the stabilizer. (Not always a fixed is perfect, it is brighter but the possibility to move between 17mm and 40 is a good advantage many times.)

canon_5dCanon 5D

Pros: Full frame, Solid construction, great after several years for landscapes and portraits, little expense (to date) and still quite yielded.

Cons: Unspecified display, big not too high, no live view, no video.

Opinion: I've been using this body machine for a while now with some lenses, although the main optics with which I use are Canon 24-70 f / 4 L IS and Canon 17-40 F4 L. I took some time to test it well in the field in various situations before writing a review. We start from the assumption that it is now at a tedious price (300/350 €) and only this could make the decision to purchase the body machine. Nowadays for landscapes and portraits it's fabulous, I use it with 17-40L and it's a 100% fit, if combined with bright optics (for portraits) is still great and it's not fear of comparing with more recent and performing machines .rnReturns the three-dimensionality of the film and also the imperfection of the roll. (as I see it, photography is not perfection and as such if the photo is too "digital" it loses part of its magic, even if it is a fantastic photo. It tastes good) i am totally satisfied with this 5D, i carry it anywhere despiteapproaching the KG without any mounted optics, I would re-make it and I would never sell it. Probably in the future I will buy a second full frame body to compensate for the deficiencies (due to age clearly) that presents the 5D old ... ie relatively low iso, no live view (which I use little but can be comfortable in certain situations) and the absence of video recording. Nowadays with the same figure you bring home a new 1300D .. but there is no comparison even with the binoculars .. and do not be scared by the "13mpx" alone, they are enough and advance to say their still today.rnIf you want a well-constructed body in full size, with little expense and so much yield, be sure about the 5D .. if you want to offset what I scored in the counter .. you have to invest almost double or more and go on the 5D MKII , MKIII o IV.rn

Pros: sharpness, size, price, bright f1.8,

Cons: at this price it is hard to find some real flaws ...

Opinion: I recently bought back this light, I bought about six months ago and then I used resold. I used only the first of aps-c and now the use of FF.rn rnHa an absolutely unbeatable and shooting differences compared to version 50 1.4 usm, do not justify the outlay of € 200 extra. I also have a 35mm usm is in my prime lenses that I love but point to cover the various focal range with bright lenses as well as having a zoom 24-105 f4 L.rnrnL'ottica is really basic and has nothing but the switch to the auto focus and manual, no small advantage is the full manual focus even when you are in mode automatica.rnrnL'ho sold because I was aiming to resume later version 1.4, but after trying it, I was not convinced so much to invest additional 200 € for the additional step of luce.rnrnla recommend it because it really is cheap and provides good results both on APSC that full frame (currently use both of which 100d 5D first series)

Pros: Sharpness, weight, autofocus, construction, handy, f2.

Cons: hood not included.

Opinion: I state that I use this lens on APS-C, and effectively becomes an 56mm. rnL'obbiettivo immediately gave me a feeling of strength, almost as much as the L series for instance, is built very well, fast, quiet autofocus, stabilized and size compatte.rnLo recommend it to everyone, it costs a bit 'but the quality you see and once installed does not mai.rnSolita downside would remove for canon, not a series L, the hood must be bought separately, the original costs the modest sum of 50 € .. compatible, virtually identical to the original is on 20 € rete.rnrnAggiornamento December 2016: I add that I use now also on 5D (ie full frame) and never disappoints, it's so bright in many situations helps a lot. The very often used even if L series use as main optics. A must have, I prefer it on full frame 50, are similar but 35 is wider and I prefer it as a lens before.

Pros: Stabilizer excellent, crisp, well built.

Cons: missing the lock to keep the lens blocked when you have the car, with the hood mounted on the contrary it is impossible to use the zoom in the neck.

Opinion: Good telephoto lens that completes my current lineup of optical with the Tamron 17-50 VC and Canon 50 F1.8 STM. rnDevo say I am very satisfied with the performance objective, is quite bright but clearly going towards 300mm must be careful in situations with no light elevata.rnlo advice vivamente.rnuniche things that "do not like" this lens are: l ' the absence of the small "lock" to lock inadvertent lens aperture when you have the camera in the neck or shoulder and the inability to use the zoom when you have the lens hood reversed. RNLA second is an extreme situation for me, because I always have the lens hood even if the machine is turned off at the neck. It could be a sheaf for those who do not use the lens hood and is used to hold the contrary optics for not having to put in your bag and take it off if necessary.

tamron_17-50vcTamron SP 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II VC LD

Pros: F2.8, Price

Cons: Autofocus, stabilizer

Opinion: I use this lens as the main optics of my canon 100D, I feel really good and the leap in quality compared to the entry level optics you notice.great point in favor is the opening to f/2.8 fixed that helps not little in the light situation. it is well balanced and is not too heavy even on the 100D which is a featherweight as a body macchina.al maximum extension despite the stabilizer you have to have your hand firmly to not have micromox... Sometimes the autofocus barrels to hook the subject. On canon I would say that you are far from 17-55 f2.8, better look for the one used.

tamron_sp35_f1-8vcTamron SP 35mm f/1.8 Di VC USD

Pros: Compact, crisp, stabilizer, f / 1.8, the lens hood included

Cons: the price?

Opinion: I state that I have this goal in my kit (unfortunately) but I'm going to buy it in the near future. I got to try it fine on my 100D, and must say it has given me great satisfaction. I did some first floor and was crystal clear, full-length and has not messed miss you. absolutely great! rnsu APS-C is a 56 equivalent, so for my taste in the portraits he has the perfect focus, well-balanced that depth to the picture but without esagerare.rnla you pay for, and you know ... even online price is not low, clear, it also costs more than the Canon EF 35mm f / 2 iS USM, so in case of Canon use, you should try both lenses before deciding. rnNote positive that I really appreciate from fixed user of Tamron lenses, the lens hood is standard, shame on canon that makes them well-salted pay.

canon_100dCanon 100D

Pros: Lightweight, touch screen, excellent yield in various situations.

Cons: for any price.

Opinion: I took my 100D super discount on amazon in a kit with the 18-55 stm objective has since been resold because I use it mainly with other lenses (EF 35 f / 2 USM in particular). RNE 'a machine that used mainly for making videos, as for the photos I have two other camera bodies equipped with optical "important." rnFunziona well and if you need a compact body with little dimensions and weight, but with all the functions (of course those base) that a camera can give you the choice ideale.rnL'anti mirrorless par excellence according me..chiaro that there mirrorless are of all types and prices, but if you search for an SLR or to start a small body for easy car or situations where you have very little space in your bag / backpack can be choosing the giusta.rnIo also recommend to beginners and does not want take the 1300D, eventually the 100D has the same functions of a 700D in a compatto.rnNon body know if tomorrow will sell, but it is far more likely that I will keep combining it with other optical molto compact for situations in which take a heavy kit is not possible.
