![]() | Sony A9 II Pros: All Cons: Nothing Opinion: I love this camera. Spectacular sensor and excellent autofocus for my needs. For some years now it has been part of my kit, giving me a lot of satisfaction not only in the "speed" field, but also in other photographic genres. The feeling you get when using it is that you have a reliable and professional tool in your hand. The battery life is also not bad. Highly recommended sent on November 11, 2024 |
![]() | Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD Pros: Construction, rendered in good light Cons: Low light rendering Opinion: I have to be honest... I was very torn before buying this lens... after many reviews read in depth I took the plunge and I bought the Tamron 35-150 ... after a trip to Greece and a series of night events (concerts), I sold the zoom that I had courted so much ... It goes very well during the day, but when the light drops, its performance at full aperture also drops drastically... And having bought it mainly for these "nocturnal" situations, I made the decision to deprive myself of it. The lens is well built, it weighs, but it has never bothered me too much in transport. Excellent ability to update it via the USB socket. The af is certainly not at the level of the original Sony lenses, it gets away with it, nothing more... But to do sporting events especially indoors, I would advise against it. The light yield let's say, daytime is good ... But as soon as you are in low light, performance drops dramatically, even with regard to AF. If a lens with these apertures has these defects in the field where it seems to be used, I don't think it's worth buying. For trips that only include daytime shots, it is instead a very interesting zoom, given the focal range. This was my experience... Vote 8. sent on July 19, 2023 |
![]() | Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS Pros: High quality all-rounder Cons: Suffers the 61 mp Opinion: I have always had this type of lens in my previous Canon and Nikon kits, so I considered it essential, for my way of photographing, to have this 24-105. In my opinion, on a constructive level it is practically a GM, but we will see over time if it can be compared to Sony's high series. Very fast and accurate AF. On the 24 mp is really good and returns sharp images with pleasant colors ... On the 61 MP it loses something in sharpness, especially at maximum focal length. Fair price if you find it at 1000 euros, beyond it is perhaps a bit 'too much. Definitely to have in the kit and not as an alternative to the various 24-70 2.8, but in my view, complementary. ![]() | Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM Pros: The perfect wide-angle Cons: Certainly the price Opinion: Really wonderful lens... It gives excellent shots for colors and sharpness even at the edges at 12. Carefully built... using it you immediately feel the quality of the materials used, as per recent GM "tradition". Very high price... but for Sony I don't see any viable alternatives. Definitely recommended... I tried many wide angles on Canon and Nikon... but this one from Sony is in another category... Vote 10. sent on January 20, 2023 |
![]() | Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art Pros: Literally fantastic!!! Cons: Nothing Opinion: I've had so many lenses both Canon, Nikon, Tamron, Sigma, but this macro lens is great. Until the time of purchase and the first shots with this Sigma lens, I considered the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM the top in terms of sharpness and contrast... well, this surpasses it. I've read someone complaining about AF, but to be a macro, in my view it's perfect. Carefully built, with many function keys and beautiful diaphragm ring, lightweight, but transmitting a feeling of solidity... honestly I highly recommend the purchase, even for areas other than those for which it was made ... I also use it for glimpses of landscapes and for portraits ... but of course it is certainly not suitable for making "very" dynamic sports photos. sent on February 20, 2022 |
![]() | Sony A7C Pros: Small, handy, practical, high quality sensor Cons: Maybe the price Opinion: Bought in December in kit with the 28-60 (by the way... very performing lens), I fell in love with its portability and practicality. But the thing that struck me is the high image quality... mounts a really nice 24 megapixel and its AF is great ... and I liked it so much that, trying from my shopkeeper other Sony optics, I decided to leave my beloved Nikon SLRs to get a Sony A7R IV A. I have always been allergic to electronic viewfinders, which I had tried on Panasonic a few years ago, but now with these new Sony I found myself really well. I definitely recommend it even if the price is high. Regards, Massimiliano sent on October 07, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon D500 Pros: All... No exclusions! Cons: Nothing... Opinion: Outstanding Reflex, under all points of view. I also own the 750 and the 850 and the 500 completes everything perfectly. I sold the D4s to replace it with the D500... Never choice was more apt, at least from my very personal point of view. The machine is fast, sturdy and light. The AF is accurate and very fast and the yield to ISO "human" is excellent, not even seems a dx... The advice certainly also for genres other than sports or photographic hunting. sent on February 18, 2019 |
![]() | Nikon AF-P 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 E ED VR Pros: Sharp, very fast autofocus, light and well built Cons: But no one Opinion: I took this lens on the occasion of my recent trip to USA, matching it to a D500... What about, exceptional lens, at last at a human price. It is always sharp, even at full aperture and focal length, it is light, practical and well built, but we will see over time the mechanism of the zoom that ends... I would recommend it. ![]() | Nikon D750 Pros: Sensor to say the least wonderful! RnTotal ergonomics. Cons: Machine born bad ... Replacement shutter after about 15,000 shots, although not falling in the "inked" serials and tires shuffling after nital.rnDal from the constructive point of view it is not at the levels of its price. Opinion: There is no doubt about the quality of the sensor; The dynamic range and workability of the raw file are excellent. The autofocus is also great. The 750 is a machine with which you can make and deal with any kind of photography, but that 1/4000 is really ridiculous ... rnThe design quality is not up to its price and the sensor gets dirty with ease ... From these Canon points of view is definitely superior.rn Last consideration on Nital and assistance service ... better than I do not pronounce, I could be banned ... just a question ... but what a way to pay a lot more product, If then the assistance is of this to say no questionable quality?!?!?! Rn So i would like a Nikon sensor (Sony) in a Canon body machine !!! sent on May 06, 2017 |
![]() | Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Pros: Optical quality (even at full aperture) and constructive (despite not tropicalization underlined tab). Cons: Nothing. Opinion: Since I bought this lens I can not detach from my 70D. A zoom with that openness had never seen ... if there was one way to FF, it would be wonderful ... but I guess that would be a complicated project to be realized ... Sigma however there has often surprised with optics on paper seemed impossible, so ... rnQuesto is a zoom really versatile thanks to its maximum aperture of 1.8, also allows the creative shots interesting. This is one of those lenses that thins the difference between the APS-C and FF, thanks to its quality ... consigliatissima. sent on December 28, 2014 |
![]() | Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Pros: Optical quality and construction. Cons: Nothing. Opinion: I used this lens on the 5D III in my last trip to Patagonia, in difficult environmental conditions ... I was almost constantly in the dust ... the lens is virtually spotless. The optical performance is remarkable even at f / 4, the colors are beautiful and the sharpness is of high level. The only thing that I find unnecessary is the stabilizer, at least for this focal length. Optics consigliatissima. sent on December 28, 2014 |
![]() | Canon 70D Pros: Camera balanced on the back of the 5D III. Its 20 MPs are right to better manage and clean image resolution. Camera body very good for construction. The AF Live View is also excellent. Cons: For the moment I do not think we can talk about something negative, except for the ergonomics which is perhaps slightly poor, so, in my opinion, it is necessary to use the bg, in fact, that I took with this accessory ... the feeling with the car is significantly improved. Opinion: I own the car for a month and I have to admit that Canon has created an excellent product. I also own the 5D III has in common (as I pointed out above) with this 70D, the right balance between resolution and image cleaning. Having a FF, I felt the need for an APS-C and I was about to get my 7D, which I previously used for two years ... I decided, however, to wait for this new machine and see what it offered in terms image quality ... the conclusion is that I take the same decision a hundred times. Surely the ergonomics and the quality of the camera body of the 7D are higher than the 70D, but the latter has a much better sensor and despite the 2 mp more, even more performance from the side of the noise ... mind you, the noise is there, but is different in some respects pleasant, because it consists of a very fine grain and this definitely worked up and then ... finally no longer see that annoying banding (vertical) always been a leader in many PICTUREine of my 7D.rnrnrnrnSaluti, rnMassimiliano. sent on October 05, 2013 |
![]() | Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC Aspherical Pros: Sharpness, construction, color rendering Cons: I have not found cons to this lens Opinion: I'm in love with this lens as soon as I mounted on the 5D III. The price of "human" is undoubtedly an important and what he can do is truly remarkable. The distortion I can correct it very well with ptlens. Initially it was not exactly easy to find the right coupled shutter speed / aperture, but after a few shots all went for the Samyang meglio.rnConsiglio highly recommend this to anyone looking for a wide angle for landscape photos to be mounted on FF. sent on June 29, 2013 |
![]() | Canon 5D Mark III Pros: Great AF, perfect ergonomics, robust body, great image quality, excellent performance at high ISO Cons: Crunch battery compartment cover when holding the camera, not always, but ... too expensive ... I would not have to exceed 2000 EUR Opinion: A camera with which you can do all types of photography, is equally at home in sports, both in the landscape, not to mention the macro, where, in conjunction with the 100 L, is capable of a wonderful detail. But the thing that stands out so much, in looking at the photographs of this jewel is the color rendition, in my view excellent. The own for a few months after he was forced to sell the Nikon D800 ... if I can do a little comparison between the two, I would say that the Nikon has a recovery of the shadows that the Canon can not reach and even a grain in the noise at least up to 3200 ISO, much more beautiful to look at and perhaps more workable. On the other hand the 5D III produces natural colors and wonderful, that the D800 just can not match, if not working in a decisive manner in PP (personal opinion, of course) sent on June 01, 2013 |
![]() | Nikon D800 Pros: -Image quality nothing short of fantastic, of course with the right-button lenti.rn all in the right position, as usual Nikon.rn-cleaning of the images, at least up to 800 ISO, straordinaria.rn-Recovery in the shadows and highlight to say the least incredibile.rn-Great autofocus. Cons: -Auto White Balance-migliori.rn not of Ergonomics improved: in my opinion it is recommended to use battery grip.rn Opinion: I tried for a few days this new jewel of Nikon, and I was impressed from the first shots. I bought the camera with the conviction that I would have given great satisfaction ... so it was. One of the things that impressed me the most was the recovery in the shadows and highlights: I've never had my hands on a camera that worked so well on that front. The quality of the files that churns out is extraordinary, at least with lenses like the Nikon 105 macro VR and 24-120 VR, Nikon always. Of course I can not speak for what concerns the cleaning of files at high iso, not having tested, but for me, that rarely go above 800 iso, what the newcomer home Nikon produces is just amazing. From the point of view of the automatic white balance, instead, I noticed a trend to offer colors that are too cold, but maybe it's just a choice of the manufacturer, while Canon has a solution to warmer colors, nothing, however, that you can not change successivamente in pp.rnIl camera body is well balanced and seems well built, although there is a feeling that is a little too plasticky. The buttons are all in the right position, at least for my needs, and can be reached easily and promptly. I believe also that with the battery grip the handle and ergonomics in general the camera, can greatly improve, especially for those who have hands grandi.rnIn final, although I plan to test the machine even deeper and for the longest time, I believe that Nikon has made a great product, offering a camera that, in some ways, represents a sort of revolution in the field of photography digitale.rnPer those who want more information do not hesitate to contattarmirnSaluti, rnMassimilianorn sent on April 11, 2012 |
