Mi chiamo Luca Manca, nato a Torino nel '66
Sin da ragazzo mi sono appassionato alla fotografia, dapprima leggendo molti libri di tecnica fotografica e osservando con attenzione le foto dei maestri come Ansel Adams, Franco Fontana, Mimmo Jodice, Arnold Newman. Ho iniziato a fotografare a fine anni '80 con una Yashica 108 MP a pellicola, ho anche per un breve periodo stampato in camera oscura. Passando per vari corpi macchina analogici sempre Nikon, nel 2003 sono approdato alla fotografia digitale con una compatta. Attualmente uso reflex a pieno formato e non sempre Nikon. Il mio genere preferito è naturalistico, ma sempre piu attento e incuriosito al ritratto. Al giorno d'oggi penso che la post produzione (mai troppo invasiva) è un passaggio fondamentale per la stampa o la presentazione via web degli scatti effettuati. Penso che, dopo l'occhio e la mente di chi scatta importantissimo è la scelta delle migliori ottiche disponibili sul mercato.
