Extraordinary at full aperture, it gives its maximum at f/5.6. Despite the maximum aperture of f/2.8 it gives a very pleasant blur in the typical intermediate portrait focal lengths, 85mm and 105mm. Only the Z 85mm f/1.8S slightly exceeds it, I refer to the blurred, not to the sharpness that is amazing I also tried it with the brand new TC 2.0X obtaining a focal length of 400mm f / 5.6 with really good motorcycle results. Nothing to do with the old TC 2.0X II applied to the 70-200 f/2.8 F mount.... too soft. Ultimately it is superb telephoto lens, which has an almost perfect color rendering and well-balanced colors.
