Pros: Build qualitiy.

Cons: It's disappointing that the old milvus 135mm and the old otus 85mm are still superior.

Opinion: I have bought that lens last year during Nikon's winter sale. So the price is okay. I bought the lens to take some action shots of my dog. That is more sports photography then pet photography. At moment I think the Nikon Z6 II + Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S is combination which does not make me smile. I was happier with the D300s + AF-S 80-200mm and I was a lot happier with the D500 + AF-S 300mm f4. The position of the zoom ring is there were normally the focus ring sits - I don't it like. Changing the focal length while continously shooting has become tricky. The swirl bokek at 200mm f2.8 is not really a must have. Beside from that it is a nice lens, but is not wow lens. When the autofocus system of the camera does not support your goal, then this lens is obsolete.

Pros: Sharpness, AF speed, extensive use of special lenses

Cons: Price (indeed high), but high performance is also high

Opinion: Also this lens (like the other two Z 14-24 and 24-70 f 2.8) left me amazed, frankly I didn't think it was possible to do better than the "old" 70-200 FL. And instead Nikon amazes us again with this work of art, just think that half of the lenses that compose it are special lenses! And of course the rendering is special, never seen anything like it: at TA (because that's how it should be used) it offers a result that annihilates, a detachment of the planes from the book with a decisive sharpness and a bokeh that, although not moving, can nevertheless be appreciated. Absolutely splendid lens, the only flaw I can detect concerns - as usual - the tripod mount. Nikon's designers must have something personal against Switzerland, otherwise it is not explained why, the only brand in the world, continues to ignore the Arca Swiss attack! Fortunately, their bad foot is as always removable, replacement is a must. For the rest only praise, another center of the super S optics of the zeta series!

Pros: Sharpness, Small size/weight, blurred, excellent construction workmanship

Cons: Price (a bit like all Z lenses)

Opinion: It's a lens I've been using for the last two years waiting to find the right opportunity for the 100-400 Z. Doing landscape photography, I found myself very often shooting at 200mm using very little focal lengths between 70 and 100. The lens is a knife already at f 5.6, giving the image a great sharpness even in the corners. The weight and dimensions are contained and in extension to 200 does not take up more space than 70mm. A really fantastic lens, a real blade, but absolutely "wasted"" (pass me the word) in the hands of a landscaper who with a 100/400 has more possibilities from the point of view of focal lengths, working at aperture f9 / f11. In fact, since I have the 100-400 I have not had the opportunity to take it out (and for this reason, reluctantly, I sold it). Indispensable (and will not disappoint you) for photos to people with truly exceptional blurs.

Pros: One step ahead of all 70-200 on the market

Cons: the cost........?

Opinion: The quality you pay this we all know, but this time nikon gave us a blade in hand, optics that has everything a photographer would like to have, sharpness, af precision, three-dimensionality, versatility and color range you have qualitative vertices. Having it in hand you immediately realize that it is not just a classic, but a true optics of those where work takes it home in any light condition and any climatic condition. This is an optics I could never do without.

Pros: The best in the world currently in circulation, blurred sharpness silent color etc ....

Cons: the lack of the case, and the foot a little short

Opinion: Great lens, very fast and silent with two engines, the divine blurred at f 2.8 the background seems to come on you that three-dimensionality, beautiful colors, sharp from edge to edge, aberrations and distortion can be said to be non-existent. Robust hood inside there is felt, 5 keys to customize depth of field, f, meters, iso, aperture etc ... I wanted to wait for the Tamaron 70/180 f 2.8 which weighs 810 gr but you do not know when it arrives is not stabilized and the stabilizer of the machine is not performing as the one on the lens plus the Nikon I paid 2000 FR Swiss which was fine with me ! The only negative thing is the lack of the case left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I had to buy it from third parties plus the foot a little shorter than the old 70/200 f 2.8 which was so comfortable to hold everything in hand. I highly recommend it, especially for videos.
