![]() | Fujifilm XF 18-55 f/2.8-4R LM OIS Pros: Good focal range, sharpness, hood, stabilized, color rendering, construction, solidity, all-rounder optics. Cons: It has only two flaws: zoom outside the lens and not f/2.8 fixed. Opinion: Grafted onto my X-Pro 1, I carry it with me when I have to do portrait set. Together with my mirrorless does not miss a beat. It is a perspective of compromise between professional and non-professional ones. To be used with full knowledge of the facts, it makes wonders in photographic situations such as travel, set portraits and streeth-photography. Highly recommended. Vote 10/10. sent on March 14, 2023 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS Pros: Excellent focal range, f / 4, color rendering, construction, sharpness, not excessive cost in the used, hood supplied. Cons: Not WR, obvious distortion at the edges. Opinion: I had the pleasure of knowing and appreciating this lens grafted on my X-PRO 1 and I must say that they communicate wonderfully. Excursion zoom rather high, it is a valid and reliable travel friend as far as landscape is concerned, even if, it can get by very well and with honor even in streeth-photography. Highly recommended to have it in kit because it does not disappoint. Vote 10/10. sent on March 14, 2023 |
![]() | Fujifilm X-PRO1 Pros: Files, practicality, body aesthetics, small dimensions, opportunity to recreate the film effect, the high iso hold, low cost in the second-hand market. Cons: Battery, very rich menu, not for large hands (better to engage its hand grip), autofocus not fast. Opinion: A mirrorless camera designed to make reasoned photography: the beauty or to think well the shot! Very suitable for landscaping and in particular for streeth-photography, the X-PRO 1 is a camera that makes you love the act of shooting as it must be weighed and reasoned. Coming from the analog world, I feel like I'm holding my own film camera. Highly recommended if desired, even for those who want to approach photography for the first time. ![]() | Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 Pros: All-rounder, lightweight, compact, price on the used market, focal length 28mm, f/2.8, Cons: It is not L series, it is not USM, it is not IS, hood not supplied, on FF it suffers, MAF a little noisy. Opinion: It still has a lot to say and give despite being around since 1987! Convinced by the offer of my trusted photo-negotiator, I bought this all-rounder lens not so long ago. At the moment I had a couple of weddings and I was very satisfied, so much so that I never took it off during the course of the whole day. On FF it suffers a bit 'sharpness but it is normal. However I like it and promote it and recommend it to everyone. Rating 9/10. sent on April 06, 2022 |
![]() | Zeiss Planar T* 50mm f/1.7 (C/Y) Pros: Solid, powerful, sharp, safe, f/1.7, very low cost, construction, blurred by scream. Cons: Flare, original hood unobtainable, MAF difficult (you need to have a very trained eye). Opinion: Extraordinary optics for portraiture. I use it with my Contax RTS analog of '82, and with a special adapter ring on my DSLRs. The rendering in the portrait is really surprising and superb so much so that, if I have to make portraits, I use only this optics: there is no comparison! Nothing to say to current and modern optics, but lenses like this, with almost 50 years on their shoulders, still have a lot to say and to give. Rating 10/10. sent on February 11, 2022 |
![]() | Leica Q (Typ 116) Pros: Fixed focal, f/1.7, ease of use, handy, light and solid, file quality, precise AF. Cons: Non-interchangeable optics, battery life, fixed focal, price, cost of Leica branded accessories. Opinion: My favorite when I go to shoot at weddings. It allows me to do an entire wedding (with SD cards and spare batteries) without any problems. Very useful in various photographic situations, he never missed a shot, giving me shots of considerable impact!!! Of course, given the peculiarity and cost, it is not a camera for everyone... but I'm really recommending it to everyone for the and motions and qualities it gives! It's Leica... and I said it all!!! #daswiesentliche sent on October 31, 2020 |
![]() | Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM Pros: L series, aperture f/2.8, sharpness, stabilizer up to 4 stops, robustness, safety in use. Cons: Weigh-in but get used to it... Opinion: A stratospheric lens! My favorite, at the moment, for portrait and portrait set. Scream sharpness and orgasm-blurred! The only flaw is the weight but you get used to it; on the other hand, it is an L-series optics with very high performance. With my digital Canon FF dialogues with wonder! A lens that every photographer, who has Canon as a kit, absolutely must possess!!! Grade 10/10. sent on October 30, 2020 |
![]() | Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Pros: Sharpness, L-series, stabilized, USM, great focal excursion, constant f/4, lampshade included, excellent chromaticism, versatile, all-rounder, tropicalized. Cons: When it points down unfortunately it stretches, slight 24mm vignette, external zoom and not inside the optics. Opinion: It's my all-rounder lens that I prefer so much that, sometimes, I forget I have the 70-200. What about it? It is an optic that allows me to shoot any photographic situation well and I am particularly proud of it, despite having several years on my shoulders being on the market since 2005. One thing that you can't see and unfortunately has, is the stretching of optics when the same points down. Another thing that I consider negative (and wanting also unprofessional to see), is the zoom: if from 24mm I go to 105mm, the zooming takes place external and visible. Overall a good lens of which I can not complain: sharp, chromatic beauty, versatile and all-rounder. sent on June 25, 2019 |
![]() | Canon 5D Mark III Pros: Stability, solidity, operational security, elegance, very rich menu, top level professionalism, ISO, double slot (CF and SD), stunning AF, remarkable leap forward compared to the 5D Mk 2, 100% viewfinder, LCD 3.2' screen. Cons: Menu too rich, ultrasensitive shutter button, weight. Opinion: A camera with excellent and stunning performance. Canon has made an epochal leap forward, compared to its sister Mark 2. The features that I note most, in addition to being those that I especially need when I shoot, are the double slot for memory cards (CF and SD), a feature that I consider absolutely vital. Then the estate to high ISO, since I take several photos of interior. The 100% viewfinder: at 24mm there is the feeling of shooting with an ultra-wide angle!!! I could go on endlessly praising this camera. An authentic tank, as I likeit!!! sent on June 25, 2019 |
![]() | Canon 40D Pros: Robustness, elegance, battery life, honest price in the used, RAW file quality, all-rounder camera, 3.0' LCD screen. Cons: Time passes for her too (it's from 2007), and such a camera, nowadays, would have many limitations. But, if used well, he still has a lot to give. We continue to trust her, because I still have a lot of satisfaction using her. Opinion: It's a camera that still give me a lot of satisfaction. It's the camera I prefer when I photograph at the Venice carnival and when I pick up butterflies. If we combine it with an L-series optic scan like the Canon EF L IS USM 24-105 f/4 or a canvas like the Canon EF L IS USM 70-200 f/4, there is no history: it can compare even with cameras younger than her. I invite you not to keep it and not to sell it because, even if it is a "grandmother", she still knows what she is doing because she has an iron soul!!! sent on June 21, 2019 |
![]() | Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Pros: L-series, 4-stop image stabilizer, USM, compact, light, very pricey, constant f/4, chromatics, sharpness, in-view, blurry. Cons: Nothing. Just a note, but insignificant. I had to get the ring for tripod attack, since they sell it separately. Opinion: A stratospheric telephoto lens to say the least. Excellent color yield and sharpness. It's the optics I use and prefer when I have to do portraits, since it has a knockout blur. And then it is equipped with image stabilizer where you can go down well by 4 stops... and it's no small feat!!! Especially recommended for shooting butterflies also, since I love photographing lepiddeurs. In short, a little gem to be kept with much regard and never to sell!!! sent on June 21, 2019 |
![]() | Nikon F4s Pros: Robust. Solid. Reliable. Stratospheric display meter. Various functions for total and perfect control. You can graft all Nikon optics practically. Change the MAF screen. Cons: Out of production. Difficulty finding spare parts (God forbid if it happened to me) and MAF screen that I like. Body. Opinion: It's the dream I had from a very young age, when I took my first steps in photography. The photographer in my country owned it and made me try it; it was love at first sight!! As soon as I could, I bought it and kept it jealously. A tank of unparalleled beauty and perfection, as only Nikon knew how to do. A fast and silent camera. A beautiful travel companion for every photographic situation. sent on June 20, 2019 |
