![]() | Nikon D100 Pros: Excellent reflex with similar features to Nikon D70 and D70s Cons: For the product of the time, no one Opinion: Bought used years ago, I review it now because I find it an excellent reflex still today. I also own Nikon D200 and Nikon D300. I like that slight grain at high iso, it's great and intuitive even if it's a SEMI PRO. Even if the menus are only in English, you get used to it. I'm still using it a lot despite also having a Nikon D70 that has similar features. Still an excellent REFLEX today. It's nice to photograph even in the old way like film, not as many do with live view, all automatically. It's great for learning, it doesn't have the various programs because it's semi pro. sent on January 02, 2025 |
![]() | Olympus E-400 Pros: Excellent reflex very compact and quality. Great files. Cons: Autofocus not suitable for action photos Opinion: Very well built. Reliable and still very good. I place it next to mirrorless Olympus OM-D E-10 and OM-D E 10 MARK II. They have practically the same menus even if in mirrorless autofocus more precise and responsive. In any case, it is a Ancor reflex valid at 10 million pixels. Great photo colors and countless settings. The preset scene program is also very useful. sent on August 10, 2024 |
![]() | Canon 77D Pros: Very good SLR Cons: I'd say none Opinion: Bought new as soon as it came out. Happy owner of other Canon EOS models 10D - 20D - 30D - 40D - 50D - 60D and this 77D is lightened in weight and the photographic quality can be seen from the files. You need to expose correctly. It has a lightened weight that allows a versatile use, I take it to the mountains on excursions and MTB excursions. I prefer it to mirrorless cameras (Canon eos M5 and Olympus OM10) maybe because I've always shot with reflex cameras. I don't like mirrorless electronic viewfinders. Also excellent for making videos sent on January 14, 2024 |
![]() | Canon EOS M5 Pros: RELIABLE EXCELLENT PHOTO RENDERING Cons: NOTHING TO BE IN APS-C FORMAT Opinion: Excellent lightweight SLR, offers high performance at the photographic level, excellent and fast wi-fi. Fast autofocus, very similar to the Canon EOS 200D and EOS 77d I own. You can push it to high iso although I prefer in landscape photos to use the tripod and remote shooting. I also have an Olympus OMD-10 MARK II and I believe that in terms of ergonomics, grip, menu of use and photo quality is inferior to Canon. (Canon uses in any case on mirrorless the APS-C format and not the micro 4:3 as Olympus). Therefore Canon having the largest sensor makes all the difference. sent on May 29, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd / S6000fd Pros: REFLEX-LIKE CONSTRUCTION Cons: I WOULD SAY NO ONE FOR AGE Opinion: Bought new in 2007 used together with reflex and I find it to be lighter to bring. The quality of the files is lower than that of a reflex but acceptable. It has a lens with focal excursion 28:300 very useful for example on vacation. The lens is used as in the reflex now the bridge cameras of the present day zoom is enabled with buttons. It has thread on the lens and you can mount cokin filters for creative photos which I really appreciate. When used on tripods and iso 100 files are great. sent on March 03, 2021 |
![]() | Canon 500D Pros: Resaleability Cons: Sharpen image quality Opinion: Purchased to replace Canon eos 350d which I regretted after the first uses. The eos 350d had high sharpness although with only 8 Mpixels and a older reflex body. It was the only REFLEX held little by me because of the slightly kneaded and unsightly images. Maybe due to the 15 Mpixels or defective. Resold after a few months for the purchase of canon eos 100d of which I did not encounter this sharpness problem. sent on January 06, 2021 |
![]() | Canon 50D Pros: Construction, Tropicalization reliability and ergonomics. Cons: Little to say considering the age if you really have to report the non-modern liveview as nin the latest SLR but it is not a defect. High Estate Iso Opinion: Bought used years ago and I was lucky enough to find it with very few shots about 100 so I was tempted to buy it. It was perfect with no signs of wear or I wouldn't have bought it. They had never even installed the shoulder strap. It was really lucky. I bought a batterygrip apart which is the same for 20d, 30d and 40d that I own. The 15 Mpixels are excellent and you can do some crop. At high iso you have to be careful, but from me it is mainly used at 100 iso for photos of landscapes on tripods. Also for action photos it is very valid and has a precise autofocus. Excellent construction type eos series 5 d or 7d. Better construction at sealing level therefore usable even in more critical climatic conditions than the 10d, 20d, 30d and 40d models which in any case are excellent for image quality although I must find an improvement in the dynamic range from the nodes of the eos 30d forward. sent on January 06, 2021 |
![]() | Canon 40D Pros: ROBUST RELIABLE EXCELLENT CONSTRUCTION Cons: Nothing for age when compared to more modern Liveview SLRs and 10 Mpixel and ISO content Opinion: Bought new in 2007 and I find it to be a reflex similar for construction to the eos 5 series although not really tropicalized but excellent and robust construction. I in landscape photos use it at iso 100 on tripod and you get great files in both jpeg and raw. With the batterygrip it improves grip even with heavy optics. It has been used for many years and I will keep it again because it is a very valid SLR to this day. I also have a Canon eos 10d, an eos 20d and an eos 30d and I have to say that this is even better. sent on January 06, 2021 |
![]() | Canon 30D Pros: Great Refle now at a bargain price Cons: Nothing for age Opinion: Bought used last year with 500 shots practically new perfect without wear. Aesthetically perfect. Purchased for just over 100,00 euros with batterygrip and N.2 batteries one original and the other competitive. I also have a Canon eos 10D and a Canon eos 20D this is also better because it is newer and has a better dynamic range with good color tones. sent on January 06, 2021 |
![]() | Canon 400D Pros: Excellent reflex still valid. Lightweight but perfect files. Up to 800 ISOs can be taken stunning photos. Cons: None for age. Opinion: Excellent very compact REFLEX, I also have CANON eos 350D and this reflex is even better. Even if it's old you get quality photos. The 2.5" display is great for me and even if it doesn't have the live view I don't care. Although today's SLRs have greater sensitivity, in landscape photos I use ISO 100 on tripod and remote shooting. I'll keep it for a long time longer, I'm as fond of the CANON EOS 350D that was my first DSLR. With the batterygrip it is perfect. sent on January 01, 2021 |
![]() | Kodak EasyShare P880 Pros: Light and at the same time robust, lenses lens quality and ability to shoot in RAW Cons: Now outdated compared to the new models, operational slowness. Opinion: Used for years excellent quality of files, ability to shoot in RAW, 2.5" screen that can still go well. He had quality lenses to really get nice files. Machine body similar to a reflex, in fact having the lens threaded, I applied the filter holder with its cokin filters, in order to be able to saturate the sky better with gray or other sloping filters. Great bridge room and looks like a small reflex. It had broken down and luckily a repairman from Milan was able to fix it. Unfortunately on Kodak cameras it becomes difficult to have spare parts for repairs. Fortunately my camera failure has been fixed. sent on January 28, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D200 Pros: ECCEZATIONAL CONSTRUCTION, ROBUST FORSE ANCOR MORE NIKON D300 Cons: Reliability - Tropicalization - Good CCD sensor Opinion: It is an excellently built reflex, much better than Nikon d100 and d300, although at the image level it is definitely lower than the d300. Great burst for action photos and also very good for portrait and landscape photos. Even today it offers a lot of satisfaction, especially if you use old optics. It can be used well up to 800 ISOs, out of the 1600 ISO you need to expose well and have good optics. Mine is equipped with Battery Grip and flanked by the Nikon d2x I feel great. I recommend it. sent on January 28, 2020 |
![]() | Canon 10D Pros: ROBUSTETO ALL CMOS Canon fabulous. Cons: None for age. Maybe a slight overexposure. Opinion: Bought on ebay with BATTERY GRIP a few years ago and used a lot for landscape photos and I didn't think it had such an amazing quality in the files. The canon's CMOS sensor is as good as on all subsequent models. This reflex has a slight delay on ignition but it is not a defect is just a limitation on the construction level, in the subsequent models from the EOS 20D onwards the problem is not there. It has several focus points to make it suitable for action photos and even in landscape photos it is a great reflex. From a construction point of view it is a tank, unlike later models that have plastics that tend to leave the marks (rigated). Obviously the resolution is only 6 MPIXEL and it is unthinkable to make CLRs. The display is 1.8" sent on January 27, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D90 Pros: BEST CAR WELL BUILT EREDE Nikon D80 Cons: Maybe the CMOS sensor doesn't live up to the competition (Canon) Opinion: Machine body almost identical to the Nikon D80 whose sensor changes which is CMOS maybe not up to the competition (Canon); A resolution of 12 MPIXELIn is a very good Reflex with not excessive weight WITH A GOOD IMAGE QUALITY. I didn't use it too much so I can't say more. I used it with old optics Nikon 80:200 TO POMPA and I got very nice photos. I found a higher overall quality on the Nikon D7100 and Nikon D2X. However overall I like it and I will keep it for a long time. sent on January 27, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D60 Pros: READ HOW A BRIDGE CAMERA But functions as a refelx Cons: Some features accessible only from the menu. Only no.3 focus points. Opinion: Excellent reflex small almost like a compact, excellent resolution, excellent definition of files both as sharpness and quality. Machine body more robust than those subsequent 3xxx series. It has only No.3 focus points. For landscape photos and portraiture is fine. I carry it around when I go mountain-bike. Great CCD sent on January 27, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D50 Pros: Excellent CONSTRUCTION SENSOR CCD Cons: Lack of second ring and lack of lighting according to state display. Opinion: Purchased in its time shortly after buying the canon EOS 350D. Use both for several years and they gave me a lot of satisfaction. The Nikon d50 has fewer focus points than the Canon 350d but the machine body is more plastic-robust. I sold it many years later and then last year being repentant I bought another one having had luck in a photography shop had only 4600 shots, practically new and I'm reusing it and even having a better processing software than Nikon D70 and D70S. Great color rendering and sharpness of course at isO low. Now I think that on the used you struggle to find it to me happened by a pure case to find a perfect used one. I advise those who have it to keep it. Mine also has BATTERY GRIP of competition nowhere to be found. sent on January 27, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D80 Pros: Great CCD sensor. Light and handy to carry. Cons: Valid although slightly less robust construction than Nikon d70 and d70s Opinion: I bought it new in 2009, it's a great reflex that doesn't lack anything compared to today's SLRs. 10 mpixels that are enough for the use that I make, Light files to handle with PC. These are lightweight semi-pro Reflexs to take with you on your travels, less sophisticated than new models using more modern electronics, but the differences in photography aren't all that different from the newer models. I like it because it has the ccd sensor. When used with old optics it gives satisfaction. sent on January 27, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D70s Pros: Constructive strength but at the same time practical and light to carry. Cons: Nothing unless it's a problem to have a 2.00" display, a CCD sensor and 6.00 MPIXEL. Opinion: Excellent reflex purchased even if I already own a D70 I use for the B/N and from many satisfactions, I do not care if you can not use it at high ISO as reflex latest. For landscape photos I use the lowest sensitivity and for interior photos I use a Flash Nikon SB-600 or SB-800. Even having a Nikon D7100 I do not tire of using this Nikon d70s that still gives a lot of satisfaction because of the CCD sensor that I like a lot as you get photos with warm tones and in the landscapes you notice. My d70s is also equipped with BATTERY GRIP of competition nowhere to be found. sent on January 27, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D70 Pros: Robust from a constructive point of view, but at the same time light and handy to carry. CCD sensor Cons: Nothing for age Opinion: I find it a very good reflex and from the point of view of the files, obviously with regard to ISO you can not climb more than 800 causes noise a little accentuated but for certain photos in B/N if well exposed and with good optics you can get to 1600 ISO. Mine is also equipped with BATTERY GRIP of untraceable competition. I even bought a d70s just for the CCD (now they all have the CMOS sensor) and at low ISO the photographs obtained I like a lot. This refle like the D70S will not change them even if I have a newer D7100 at 24 Mpixel. I recommend it and being also with simple menus you can learn well to take photos. sent on January 27, 2020 |
![]() | Fujifilm S2 Pro Pros: QUALITY IMAGES STUPENDA for both portraits and landscapes Cons: For age no one, maybe a little slowness but it is understandable, it is 2002 Opinion: I bought this reflex used for a while, there are not many requests although not many know that uses a super CCD that for portrait photos and landscape are amazing results even today. I don't care if the screen is from 1.8" I use it to 100 ISO for landscape photos and portraits at 400 ISO and if it is the case use Flash external SB-600 and SB-800 and you get amazing photos. In order not to use the CR123 batteries (it requires 2 to operate over 4 stylus) I inserted a battery grip for Nikon F80 limated on the sides with thin glass paper to be able to fit and with a small weld on the contacts of the battery grip inserting two clothespins to Being able to make contacts with internal machine body avoided the CR123 batteries and in this way I use 4 batteries 1.2 volts rechargeable in the battery plus another 4 batteries 1.2 voltres rechargeable for the reflex. In this way the range has increased dramatically (rechargeable batteries are ENELOOP). sent on January 24, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D7100 Pros: Light to carry Cons: Not tropicalized like Nikon d300 but is semi-tropicalized Opinion: Excellent photo quality reflex is better than Nikon D300 but it has fewer seals that don't make it tropicalized but only partially. This is an advantage in terms of weight and footprint but I don't care. Some models have the problem that goes to oily traccie on the cone sensor on the d600. It didn't happen to me, fortunately and I'm also using a Nikon D2X that is heavier to carry. At the definition and image level it's amazing. I also recommend it to those who want to buy used it is a great product. It also has two SD SAMs thing that they took off on the D7500. Even with old optics (type 80:200 Nikon pump) they have an incredible yield. sent on January 24, 2020 |
![]() | Canon 350D Pros: IMAGE QUALITY Cons: MATERIAL A PLASTICOSO with a tendency to spoil Opinion: Bought new newly released used a lot even in climatic conditions in which it would have been better to use a TROPICALIZED or semi-tropical reflex such as the Canon EOS 40D and Canon EOS 50D that I purchased later. The quality of the files is excellent, the autofocus is accurate even for action photos (although it is to be preferred Canon EOS 40D or 50D) After about 10 years of use the external machine body has ruined itself at the level of plastics but not at the level of functionality and I had sold it to buy an EOS 500D canon (of which I noticed that by comparison it had less sharpness in the photos in fact replaced again after less than a year for a Canon EOS 100D that I still have). Last year, i regretted selling the Eos 350D and finding one in a photography shop and virtually unused (it had about 1000 shots so perfect) and I bought it back for a short time. I'm still reusing it with a lot of satisfaction. sent on January 24, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D40 Pros: LIGHTWEIGHT - WELL BUILT TO BE ENTRY LEVEL Cons: Nobody Opinion: Won at a photo competition in 2006 with a lens 18:55 I only review it now even if I have not used it very much. It was built with great material considering it is an entry level. I use it when I go hiking mountain biking because it is a small and non-cumbersome reflex and does not weigh carrying it around. In addition, the quality of the files is excellent up to 400 ISO. That's fine with me. sent on January 24, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D2x Pros: Great definition, in landscape photos the photos are very sharp at 100 iso Cons: None taking into account that it dates back to 2004. Tropicalization that makes it suitable for any climate situation. Opinion: I bought this reflex used recently having also other bodies Nikon and Canon and I must say that for landscape photos and portraits is great maybe even better than many more modern reflexes, it does not have a level of technology of today but his work does very well. Great CMOS sensor (Does not use CCD) I normally shoot at 100 ISO for landscape photos and if I take photos in the interior I use the external flash on sled SB-600 and SB-800 and in this way at 400 ISO I get perfect photos. Now there is a lot of talk about reaching ISO 12000 or more but they are theoretical data only on some models see CANON EOS 6D MARK II Full Frame (which I bought new for about a year) you can get MAX to 6400 ISO without not seeing any noise. sent on January 24, 2020 |
