Pros: It makes beautiful photos, is easy for newbies but has all the necessary controls for the more experienced.
Cons: Nobody
Opinion: I have owned and own several Nikon: D40, D60, D80, D90, ... D7200 and many others, of different brands, including some mirrorless and many advanced compacts. But which one is the best? Clearly the most recent, it is useless to reiterate. But then why do I insist on using, and do you think that I started photographing since 1970!!, old glories like the D40 or the D50, Pentax k-r ..?. Simply because, despite having an eye accustomed, in the end, if I take two prints at random and put them close, I can hardly distinguish, at magnification not higher than A4, with which camera it was taken! In fact, sometimes I recognize more the yield of the CCD and the thin grain, similar to film, to which I was accustomed a few centuries ago and which I still like. Therefore, despite being someone who buys and sells in an almost compulsive way, looking for the best for me, I still keep close cameras like the D50, with which I still feel a real pleasure to use. Of course I photograph for passion and at an amateur level, otherwise it would be if I were a professional photographer! But even in that case the search for Megapixels, the lens of great brightness ... and so on and so forth, beyond limits, easily reached even by "obsolete" cameras, ... they are all mental nonsense, of great emotional impact but of little practical use!! |
