Pros: Sturdyness, handling, reliabilty, image quality at low ISO (at the time)

Cons: Limited lens choice, alomost no customization, limited configurability for a semiprofessional camera, small display, all specs by today's (2024) standards

Opinion: This was my first DSLR. I bought it used from a camera enthusiast with almost 100 000 clicks. Despite being used so much before, I never had any trouble with it and I could add another 10 000 clicks or so before giving it to a friend. Reasons to buy were price (used it was much much cheaper than a 350D) and the fact that I could use it with my old Canon EF lenses (28-70, 80-200 and 50 mm). Compared to all cameras I owned before it felt very good in the hand and it was very nice to shoot with it. I liked the camera very much at the time, but a few years later I replaced it with a 20D - mainly because it was not compatible with EF-S lenses and I was longig for a stabilised modern lens with decent wide angle (then the only options were the Canon EF-S 17-85 mm IS and EF-S 18-55 IS). Today there are much better options even if you are looking for a cheap and sturdy SLR without paying much (e.g. the Nikon D200 which is compatible with plenty of really old and good lenses even from the 70s and 80s).

Pros: Solid, assisted function button, shutter sound, bright viewfinder.

Cons: EF-S lenses cannot be used

Opinion: Well-built machine body, from pro seeds. Good cmos image quality, slightly lower than the 20-30d sensor, especially in shadows. Slowness in recording photos, I recommend using better performing CF. Tiny screen, but useful for histogram. autofocus suffers from little light, but offers good coverage. As with all high SLRs of 2003 of any brand does not hold iso well, the limit of 800 with good light. The function button to record the pre-set, useful and fast focus point is excellent. In conclusion I am always satisfied with the 10d for thought use, I recommend buying if at a low price. Pros: ROBUSTETO ALL CMOS Canon fabulous.

Opinion: Bought on ebay with BATTERY GRIP a few years ago and used a lot for landscape photos and I didn't think it had such an amazing quality in the files. The canon's CMOS sensor is as good as on all subsequent models. This reflex has a slight delay on ignition but it is not a defect is just a limitation on the construction level, in the subsequent models from the EOS 20D onwards the problem is not there. It has several focus points to make it suitable for action photos and even in landscape photos it is a great reflex. From a construction point of view it is a tank, unlike later models that have plastics that tend to leave the marks (rigated). Obviously the resolution is only 6 MPIXEL and it is unthinkable to make CLRs. The display is 1.8"
