fujifilm_x_pro2Fujifilm X-Pro2

Pros: Build quality, sensor, the feeling it conveys in the user experience

Cons: Machine not for everyone, impossibility to set the ISO adjustment on the front dial

Opinion: Having already an X-pro3 I bought the x-pro2 in graphite version for the aesthetics and usability of these real Fuji cameras. In fact, the pro2, like the subsequent x-pro3 series, conveys beautiful sensations when used and inspires creativity. Personally, I am in love with the hybrid viewfinder, as well as the materials and build quality made in Japan. The sensor of the old series is absolutely excellent and even the performance of the camera body in general does not leave anything to be desired, despite the fact that this technology now has a few years on its shoulders. It is a camera suitable for reflective photography, it does not excel in speed but allows you to cover many photographic genres, even if it is probably in the street that it knows how to give its best. The only relevant flaw, from my point of view, is the impossibility of setting the ISO adjustment on the front dial, a really senseless software limitation. The battery life (the old no-w126s) is not the best, but considering the size you can easily carry a couple or more of a spare. Personally I think it is one of the most apt and best made Fujis, a must have for true Fuji riders.

fujifilm_xh2sFujifilm X-H2S

Pros: Operating speed, autofocus, customization of function keys, image quality, battery life

Cons: No dials, non-clickable control wheels, large dimensions... And I personally can't stomach the V-logger screen

Opinion: I thought a lot before proceeding with the purchase of this camera: I was attracted by the stacked sensor and the consequent operating speed, but very doubtful for the size and for the fully adjustable display suitable more for videomakers than for photographers. In the end, having come across an excellent offer for a "zero km" used car, I gave in and bought it. At first contact the feeling is that we are dealing with a real flagship, with excellent build quality and "larger" dimensions compared to the Fuji of the x-t series to which I am more accustomed. As for usability, as I already imagined, I personally suffer from the type of display, the absence of dials like those of the x-t series and also the size, with function keys more difficult to reach for those who do not have too large hands. On the other hand, the generous dimensions result in greater ergonomics and a sturdy feel. The operating speed is remarkable and pushing to the maximum with the FPS it is easy to download many shots (and giga!) on the CF express. A firepower that you have to learn to manage, to avoid being overwhelmed by hundreds of redundant photos. On the other hand, I don't agree with many of the criticisms found on the net with respect to the autofocus: the latest firmware updates have made the camera very performing in my opinion (I had no problems, for example, to track swallows in AF-C - not an easy subject - with a good percentage of shots in focus). In wildlife, or at least dynamic, photography, this camera represents a real step forward for Fuji. The same updates, however, have made the front dial configurable for ISO management, a very welcome possibility, which allows me to maintain the same "muscle memory" in the use of the H2S and my X-T. On the video side, I won't comment, as I'm not an expert and not particularly interested in these functions. In summary, the camera for me is promoted: of course, being a loyalist of the X-T series, if a Fuji X-T with stacked sensor or at least with the same operating speed were to arrive, I think I would immediately make the change. This does not change the fact that the x-H2s is a very good product, in my opinion even oversized for non-professional use.

fujifilm_xt5Fujifilm X-T5

Pros: Size, weight, image quality and philosophy fujifilm

Cons: The density of the sensor must be managed; the shutter speed is oversized compared to the technical possibilities (the SD acts as a bottleneck)

Opinion: As a satisfied and passionate fujifilm user it was a pleasure to "return" to this new real x-t !! As an owner of the x-t3, I hadn't made the switch to the x-t4 mainly because of the screen chosen for that series, in addition to the fact that not making videos I didn't see a big leap in quality between the two models. This x-t5, on the other hand, was a very pleasant return to the roots. Well built, compact, light, with the dials and controls all put in the right place and, above all, with the screen not of a v-logger, but of a photographer!! In my opinion, the leap in quality can be perceived both in the image quality and in the completeness of the functions... We are now at the level of a real flagship. All this, with dimensions and weight even slightly lower than the T4. Great variety of film simulations. The image stabilization on the sensor works very well and is a useful feature for a sensor that, at 40MP, is sensitive to motion blur. The level of detail that can be extracted with the pixel shift function is frightening, but it can only be used in conditions of total stasis (in landscaping, even a slight breeze that moves the foliage of the trees then creates a problem of processing the file with the dedicated Fuji software!). In addition to motion blur, the 40mp sensor also suffers - as you can imagine - from high iso. At 3200 iso we are already at the limit. Another "negative" technical note is related to the shutter speed: even using very high performance SD cards, in fact, the 20fps achievable with the ES are in fact unusable, because the SD acts as a bottleneck and the camera buffer is soon to fill up. This "firepower" could only be handled with CF express cards, but with the relative increase in costs... obviously... All in all, the x-t5 is a top-notch machine, which won't disappoint those who know Fuji! ... For my use, the combination of X-T3 and X-T5 is really the perfect combination.

manfrotto_zaino_manhattan_mover30Manfrotto Zaino Manhattan Mover-30

Pros: Compactness and rationality of the geometries, integrated rain cover, waterproof bottom

Cons: Insufficient shoulder pad padding, seemingly not exceptional seams

Opinion: I have had this backpack for several years now and despite some flaws that limit the possibilities of use I continue to use it for my travels. Among the pros I found the availability of a compartment accessible only from the backrest, where to transport the most precious material and to be kept away from pickpocketing attempts, and the presence of a smaller compartment with quick access from above. Well also the straps for attaching the tripod, the chest strap to lock the shoulder straps and prevent slipping and the presence of the rain cover and a reinforced and waterproof fabric caseback. The load capacity is adequate for two mirrorless with different lenses. The real cons? The shoulder straps, which have a very minimal and inadequate padding for prolonged use at full load. Not very good even the seams: even if I did not see stitching or sagging, in my opinion they are not up to those of other models / brands in the same price range.

fujifilm_xf150-600wrFujifilm XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 R LM OIS WR

Pros: Lightness, tropicalization, internal zoom system, focus preset button

Cons: The f8 for some can be a limit, unbalance of weights towards the front of the lens

Opinion: Given that this is an opinion from "first impressions" after just a week of use, a first thing I appreciated about this new Fuji canvases are the weight and build quality in general. The lens is certainly more bulky than the 100-400 of Fuji, but still with a really low weight considering that it offers 200mm more. Also very convenient is the internal zoom system, which allows you to keep the size and weight distribution unchanged even at maximum focal length. In the first uses with X-T3 I still noticed, in freehand use, a certain imbalance forward that requires a bit of attention and stability when shooting at the limit of safety times, even if the stabilization seems to work very well. Sharpness and image quality do not disappoint and even when shooting with difficult backgrounds, such as foliage, the lens does not knead details. AF performance, for now tried only with XT3, good, but I am convinced that with subsequent firmware updates compatibility will improve (the firmware to make the 150-600 fully usable on xt3 was released in a hurry at the end of June, I do not exclude there may be subsequent improvements). As a sore point out the f8 at full aperture at maximum focal length (but you already know it before buying it!!!), which makes it necessary to go up with the ISO in non-optimal light conditions, a case that in nature photography occurs not rarely. I will update the review later, but for the moment at first glance I would confirm that it is a lens that is worth the money it costs.

fujifilm_16_f1-4rFujifilm XF 16mm f/1.4 R WR

Pros: Construction, brightness, tropicalization, image quality.

Cons: Inevitably more bulky than the f2 wr series lenses; a few years on the shoulders.

Opinion: I bought this lens at the release of Fuji's new 18mm f1.4, taking advantage of a price drop that made the 16mm very attractive. I was satisfied with the build quality, image quality and color rendering. Lens in full Fuji style. In my opinion, the management of distortion is also formidable. The weight and dimensions are much greater than Fuji's F2 series, but the increased brightness and the different optical scheme require necessary different ingomrbi. The AF is not among the fastest of Fuji lenses but still performing. Compared to the new 18mm it suffers some structural "gap" related to age, especially in terms of sharpness perhaps, but given the costs the 16mm remains at the moment an excellent choice.

fujifilm_27_f2-8wrFujifilm XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR

Pros: Dimensions, versatility, diaphragm ring, tropicalization

Cons: Price

Opinion: The biggest limitation of the old 27mm was in my opinion the absence of the diaphragm ring. With this new version you finally have a complete 27mm, tropicalized and with a ring. The best advantage of this activity is in my opinion the versatility: fantastic for the street, you bring out something good even in the landscape and, more generally, in the shot set. Very very good sharpness, AF can be improved. If it drops in price, it becomes a "must have" lens!

fujifilm_xf50_f2wrFujifilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR

Pros: Construction, sharpness, tropicalization, size, price

Cons: "Particular" focal length

Opinion: I bought this lens driven above all by the price and size, with the idea of going to cover a focal range that was "unguarded" in my kit. I was surprised by the build quality, absolute sharpness and size. Very portable and tropicalized lens, which does not weigh in the backpack but offers an extra creative solution. As 75mm equivalent requires a little attention in the composition, but you can make different uses of it. Lately I have used it for sports photos (in particular cars) and thanks to the high-performance AF I have obtained very satisfactory results for me. At the right price, it is a lens absolutely to buy!!!

fujifilm_x_pro3Fujifilm X-PRO3

Pros: Build quality (made in Japan), dimensions, file quality, film simulation, the philosophy with which it was conceived

Cons: The price and the logic behind it make it a machine not suitable for everyone

Opinion: The judgment on this machine all depends on one thing: if you knew and did not know what you were buying. If consciously chosen you can only appreciate the positive sides: image quality of the x3 series, body assembled well and with quality materials, satisfactory operating speed, double sd slot, tropicalization, very enjoyable hybrid viewfinder, film simulations, etc etc. On the contrary, if you think you will find yourself using a machine like many others you will soon encounter the limits of a "hidden" LCD and therefore of the less easily navigable menus, of the optics that enter the field of view of the Galilean, of the ISO ring "not dedicated" etc. etc. .. The price is what it is (HIGH!), so before buying it it is advisable that you think carefully about what you are buying, carefully evaluating whether or not it meets your needs / expectations. That said, the product is of absolute quality and I personally consider it a "must have" for fujisti. .

fujifilm_xf80_f2-8macroFujifilm XF 80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro

Pros: Sharpness, color rendering, contrast, build quality, tropicalization

Cons: Weight, hood and maybe the price... but the quality you pay for!

Opinion: Macro lens of the highest level. The quality of the file produced by this lens is really satisfactory for sharpness, contrast, bokeh. Also from a constructive point of view the lens is really well made, solid, tropicalized, although of not negligible size and weight. It may not be proportionate and balanced with smaller fuji camera bodies. I do not like the hood that is too plastic and very bulky. The price is certainly high but in my opinion in line with the quality of the product!

fujifilm_xf70-300wrFujifilm XF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 R LM OIS WR

Pros: Small size and weight, good sharpness, fast and quiet AF, zoom lock button, stabilizer

Cons: It is well built but the plastics do not seem to me like other Fuji lenses, the lampshed is very plastic and some compromises have to be accepted; absence of stabilizer selector.

Opinion: Praise Fuji for this compact, well-built and lightweight lens. In combination with the 1.4x tc it is possible to have an equivalent 520mm (630mm with the sensor crop factor), with maximum compactness and transportability. I like the lock button to stop zooming and prevent it from extending when we transport the camera, I like tropicalization, I like the stabilizer and I like the optical scheme that allows you to get good blurry and use the lens even as a macro, given the reduced minimum focus distance. Good sharpness and color rendering. I do not like the absence of the sector of activation /deactivation of the stabilizer on the barrel and I do not like some plastics, not at the top, and above all that of the lampshed that is of a poor level, not to say chinese. The AF works well and is fast, however coupled with the 1.4x TC it seemed to me that it slows down slightly more than with fuji 100-400mm... Future firmware will probably improve it. The best yield comes between f8 and f11. Present on some focal lengths and at certain openings, distortion, vignetting and aberration, all phenomena that, however, arise to a limited extent and not such as to compromise the final result.

viltrox_af33_f1-4Viltrox AF 33mm f/1.4

Pros: Out-of-the-ordinary value for money, construction, autofocus

Cons: Tendency to tinge towards cold tones (at least on XF version for Fuji)

Opinion: I purchased the XF version for Fuji and I have to say that I was really surprised and really very satisfied. Lens built of metal, returns a feeling of solidity and robustness. Slightly larger than the 35mm of Fuji house, but still light and compact. The AF system works excellently, maybe it's even faster than Fuji's and certainly less noisy. Really very good sharpness, as well as the bokeh effect. On this last aspect I perhaps prefer the effect returned by Fuji, but in general I have to say that the images are always very pleasant, have a nice paste and are well disputed. Note a certain tendency of the Viltrox lens to veer towards cold tones, which can still be corrected effortlessly in post-production. Considering the price, it's a lens to take on the fly... Undoubtedly!

fujifilm_18-55oisFujifilm XF 18-55 f/2.8-4R LM OIS

Pros: Compact, lightweight, above-average kit optics

Cons: not WR and with some compromise to accept!

Opinion: To be an "optical kit", it is undoubtedly an above-average quality goal. The construction quality is typical of fuji... far from plastic, solid, well assembled. The optical quality is good but of course we are not at the levels of a "prime band" lens and in terms of definition and detail this 18-55 inevitably loses the comparison compared to Fuji's 16-55, but on the other hand weight, size and impact on the wallet are much smaller. Negative note the absence of tropicalization. In addition, at maximum opening something is lost in terms of sharpness. For the price, versatility and transportability, slow in my opinion very good.

manfrotto_befree_advanced_twistManfrotto BeFree Advanced (Twist)

Pros: Weight and portability, twist unlock system, clutch head

Cons: Non-excellent stability at maximum extension, non-interchangeable feet

Opinion: I own two, one on which I installed a short column that allows me almost ground shots and one with long column. I bought both products on offer paying them about 90€ and for this amount in my opinion they are a good deal. The construction quality is high and the twist system is in my opinion very comfortable. I use them with mirrorless cameras, so the range of 8 kg is more than enough and I have never had any problems. At maximum extension, however, you begin to feel some vibration that makes it unsuitable for "heavy" use with heavy equipment. For the rest, the quality is there: used and mistreated in the middle of sand, mud, water etc., they still do their job well. To buy, but at the right price.

lowepro_protactic450awLowepro ProTactic 450 AW

Pros: Capacity, organization of spaces and modularity, quality of materials and seams, external pockets included in the equipment

Cons: Vacuum weight, fixed shoulder straps not adjustable in height

Opinion: In these 45 lt of backpack there really is a lot of equipment. The padding is good and the rigidity of the materials increases the protection of the transported material. The interior spaces are well organized, with many partitions supplied all freely modules. The supplied pockets (water bottle holders, utlitity and easel transport system) are also very useful. The cordura used is of good quality as well as the seams. On the other side of the coin we obviously have a weight that is far from feather already empty backpack, which becomes very demanding when used at full load, in combination with deficient shoulder straps in the padding. In addition, a major limitation in my opinion is the impossibility of adjusting the shoulder straps in height, with the consequence of not being able to "dress" the backpack correctly, that is, unloading the weight on the lumbar belt instead of on the shoulders. The extra-advice for short or light loading transports. For long journeys with heavy load, however, I would not recommend it.

sigma_17-70macro_os2Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC OS HSM Macro C

Pros: Good build quality, compactness, sharpness (center)

Cons: Front/back focus issues (on my specimen), sharpness drop at the edges, lampshed, zoom with reverse rotation

Opinion: Of the many lenses I've had, even Sigma, this is the one I liked the least. What undoubtedly determines my opinion is the fact that I probably came across a defective specimen, but even after the AF problems of my specimen, the judgment would not have been very positive. My specimen immediately manifested obvious and persistent problems of focus (front/back focus) on my Nikon D500, which remained unresolved even after dozens of attempts at calibration via USB dock. I could have had it calibrated by sigma labs, but I finally chose to make it. In addition to this problem, however, I did not crazy the drop in sharpness at the edges (very good in the center, instead), the availability of the F2.8 only up to 22mm, the bad plastic lampshed and the zoom with rotation in the opposite direction compared to nikon lenses. Too bad, because in general the lens seems to have a good constructive quality and good yield potential.

nikon_70-300vrNikon AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G ED VR

Pros: Lightness, good yield and sharpness

Cons: A little dark, it must be taken at the right price

Opinion: Bought years ago on offer around 250€ (today on the used market it is also located for less), I used it for a long time and with satisfaction. It is an "entry level" lens and therefore must be evaluated as such, without having waits from a pro-range objective. The lens body is made of plastic, but the assemblies are good and the lens is solid but at the same time light and compact. The optical scheme is discreet and allows you to pull out sharp images at all focal points, also thanks to the stabilizer that works well. No problem with the AF either. To consider that at the maximum opening we are already at f 4.5, so not very bright. If purchased at the right price, it's a good canvas to get you started.

fujifilm_18-135oisFujifilm XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR

Pros: Value for money, image quality, tropicalization, flare resistance, versatility, stabilizer

Cons: I haven't found any yet

Opinion: One of my favorite lenses in fuji optical park. Those who do not have particular prejudices towards zoom lenses, will surely appreciate the versatility of this lens that represents a great example of an all-round lens. The image quality, sharpness, flare manageability and flare quality are appreciated. The stabilizer works excellently and allows you to make up for the opening of a non-exceptional diaphragm. Great that it's also a WR lens. In my use (I have been owning it for about a year) I have not found any particular defects. By the way, being a not very young lens, it is also quite easily located on the used market, at absolutely attractive prices for a lens of this quality.

fujifilm_10-24oisFujifilm XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS

Pros: Build quality, image quality, size

Cons: Wr absence, 10mm edge distortion

Opinion: After a year of use I can undoubtedly say that the 10-24 is one of my favorite Fuji lenses. Versatile lens and potentially suitable for a thousand uses, it allows you to range with the composition and to fully enjoy the optical and constructive quality, which will certainly give you beautiful satisfactions. Af is also good. As flaws I detect the absence of tropicalization (now introduced in the new WR version of this lens) and the distortion at the edges that is felt especially at the slightest focal point and that must inevitably be managed when composing the image.

fujifilm_1-4xFujifilm XF 1.4x TC WR

Pros: Sharpness, wr, build quality and size

Cons: don't buy it before

Opinion: As a holder of both Fuji multipliers (I also have the 2x), I can absolutely confirm that this 1.4x is the most balanced solution. Apart from the construction quality and tropicalization, this CT having a less pushed magnification obviously manages to guarantee greater brightness and a drop in clarity almost zero, unlike the 2x which, especially in unconducive light conditions, is suffering more pronounced sharpness drops. Even the most compact size means that the impact on the mounted lens footprint is less, to the advantage of manoeuvrability and usability even at the maximum focal point. Being able, I would suggest buying both and working basic with the 1.4x, resorting to 2x only when the alternative would be to give up the shot.

fujifilm_xf90_f2wrFujifilm XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR

Pros: Tropicalization, sharpness, build quality

Cons: Weight, noise of the maf "dancer" system with machine off, no stabilizer, light plug

Opinion: Before buying it you must be aware that this is a "specialized" lens, designed for portraiture and limited to a few other uses (perhaps a little in landscape /photography of details, but not macro). Having said that, for these purposes the lens is in my opinion simply excellent for the construction quality, sharpness, openness and quality of the bokeh (perhaps not at the levels of 56 1.2, but still very very pleasant). The detail is there and it is absolutely satisfactory already at the maximum opening, closing a stop already maximizes. On the negative side, I would mention the absence of stabilisation, a cumbersome and not exactly precise light-off and the weight. Also watch out for the value for money, because for non-professional uses the new Viltrox 85mm offers services close enough but at a price halved, a factor to be evaluated during the purchase phase. If you have the option to buy a good used at the right price, fuji still remains preferable in my opinion, this 90mm is a lens that you will not regret having in your kit.

fujifilm_100-400wrFujifilm XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR

Pros: Tropicalization, stabilizer, construction quality, size and weight and good coupling with CT

Cons: Without teleconverter you risk being short as focal, for sharpness you need practice and good light, price not really popular

Opinion: Fuji's zoom red badges always give great satisfaction and this lens is no less, the construction quality is at the top, also considering the efficiency of the stabilizer and tropicalization. With canvases, however, the mm are never enough and 400mm is not many, so it is necessary to calculate the opportunity /need to combine a 1.4x CT. In terms of sharpness you can get the best around f8, with well-lit scenes and subjects not too far away. In combination with my xt3 the af works well, especially after the latest firmware updates. The price is high but in line with similar high-end lenses. Good lens.

sigma_150-600cSigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM C

Pros: Focal excursion, stabilizer, weight compared to the sport version

Cons: AF issues on my Nikons, sharpness not always easy to obtain, discreet plastics considering the price

Opinion: From the point of view of construction quality, given the price in my opinion you could have had something more. Good but not exceptional plastics and feeling of solidity. Technical side, in the use I noticed that even with the use of the easel and working in light conditions favorable to very closed diaphragms, it is not always possible to pull out perfectly sharp shots. The real limit however in my case was the AF: on both Nikon d7500 and D500 I encountered a delay in the AF and a persistent front/back focus problem that I could not fix even after dozens of calibrations with the dock station. I may have been unlucky, but for me the vote is low.

nikon_d500Nikon D500

Pros: Operational speed, AF, flagship construction quality but in the format and size of an APS-C

Cons: Image quality not always up to scratch, held at high ISOs not from top of the range

Opinion: I took the D500 after an intermediate passage with the d7500 and I have to say that despite the similarities the difference between the two is perceived. The D500 has the right papers to be called a true flagship. Operational speed and buffers are impressive and the AF if well set does not miss a beat. On the whole it is a machine that even today, for sporting use, can absolutely say its own. The only limits that I found in my "short" use (less than a year after the purchase I definitively switched to Fuji) are the hold to high ISO and the overall quality of image, factors with respect to which in comparison with FF systems now dipsoniable in the same price range maybe something is actually lost.

fujifilm_xt3Fujifilm X-T3

Pros: Design, operating speed, AF, rings

Cons: No key backlight, continuous AF in tracking mode consumes like an 80s biturbo maserati

Opinion: Predicting that I bought it at the exit of the X-T4 with an online offer and also with fuji cashback (so paying it a price more than halved compared to the launch price), at certain figures I would say that the machine is simply formidable. The experience of use thanks to fuji's typical rings, joystick and quick menus is fantastic: the machine is fast, customizable, well built and ergonomic. Hard to miss a shot. The file quality is good and the dynamic range is there, however if you are looking for high ISO performance or detail rendering at pushed magnifications, this is not the product for you. The right machine, on the other hand, for those who love a little grain in the file, those who appreciate the fantastic fuji film simulations and those who want to take advantage of a compact body in aps-c format. Well the firmware updates that brought the same AF as the xt4 however remain some problems to solve, such as the inhuman consumption of the battery with continuous AF in tracing mode. Too bad the keys are not backlit, the shots at night are more tiring. Overall, if you're not thirsty for supermegapixellate FF details and stabilized sensors, with this XT3 you can now make a deal.

fujifilm_xt30Fujifilm X-T30

Pros: Size, image quality, operating speed, rings, Fuji firmware updates, shooting experience

Cons: Absence of tropicalization, non-exceptional body plastics, ergonomics not suitable for everyone, devaluation

Opinion: After a year of heavy use I want to finally give an opinion on this excellent Fuji machine. PRO: we have the same sensor as the xt3 in a truly compact body and the performance is very similar to that of the flagship; the image quality is there and the shooting experience is typical Fuji, the analog rings on the body are fantastic; not having particularly large hands I had no ergonomic problems and I had no problems with the position of the Q button (demonized by many), which I find very comfortable instead. The firmware updates received by Fuji have also improved an already very performing machine in the race. CONS: not suitable for those who expect pronounced grips and "small" reflex ergonomics (the machine is really compact); the body plastics are not the best, on my silver version are already evident signs and paints that should not have been seen the use I made of them; tropicalization is lacking (given the launch price);the devaluation on these fuji product ranges is always very high, after not even a year the prices on the second-hand market have more than halved (good for those who want to buy it now, less for those who have to sell it).

venus_laowa_65macro_2xVenus Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO

Pros: Lightness, compactness, definition, construction quality, APO

Cons: Lamp plug, manual focus only (but in macros it's not a real flaw)

Opinion: Finally a macro lens designed specifically for aps-c format and at an affordable price. I took it for my Fuji, preferring it to the much more expensive fujinon xf 80mm macro. The build quality is excellent and the weight extremely low. Sharpness is very good in view of the price. Pairing with fuji machine body is perfect and there are no games. The focus is only manual, however taking a little hand you can shoot even freehand. The lampshed is the only real defect I have encountered so far, in particular the grafting in the "rest" position is particularly difficult and there is a risk of ruining the thread. Overall it's a great lens.

fujifilm_2x_wrFujifilm XF 2.0x TC WR

Pros: Great build quality, tropicalization and good sharpness

Cons: Slight slowdown of autofocus

Opinion: The build quality of this multiplier is worthy of Fuji, it pairs perfectly with the machine body and with the lens without leaving games between the matings. It has the tropicalization and loss of definition is in my opinion very contained in the center but more noticeable at the edges. With the latest updates it has become compatible in AF also with the 100-400mm with which you reach therefore relevant focal lengths. I note that it leads to a slight slowdown of the AF but to a barely perceptible extent, nothing transcendental. Obviously with 2x multiplication you have to deal with some waivers in terms of detail and brightness but on the whole it is a product that has satisfied me very much.

Pros: Operating speed, battery life, ergonomics and weight, pro functions, sensor quality and dynamic range.

Cons: For some, the absence of the second slot and battery grip can weigh. The shooting mode selection system is not very comfortable.

Opinion: I say that I make a purely amateur use of it and I am not a professional, but as a photoamateur I can only praise this D7500. The image quality is high, the sensor works well and returns beautiful files even in terms of the depth of the dynamic range. The machine is fast and can be a good compromise in value for money for those who can't afford the much more expensive (but performing) D500. The selection of shooting modes is cumbersome, otherwise the controls are well distributed and intuitive in use. The ergonomics are great, even without battery grip (not installable) the machine grips well and the shooting experience is pleasant. The weight is not excessive but still balances even the most "important" optics well. In conclusion if purchased at the right price is a machine that gives great satisfaction.
