Sono nato a Roma nel 1966, e ho sempre vissuto qui. Sono sposato e ho un bambino di 10 anni. Diplomato nel 1985 come perito in telecomunicazioni, lavoro in Telecom Italia ma non ho niente a che fare con la telefonia. Nel 2004 sono stato trasferito in un settore interessantissimo: Servizi Radiomarittimi e satellitari. Mi occupavo di progettazione, realizzazione e installazione dei sistemi di TLC e navigazione a bordo di navimercantili, e da diporto. nel 2006 il settore e' stato esternalizzato e in azienda e' rimasta solo l'attivita satellitare terrestre, e mi sono specializato in questa.
la passione per la fotografia mi e' stata contagiata da mia moglie, anch'essa appassionata di foto.
Due anni fa dopo essere passato al digitale con una compatta Nikon Coolpix 5900 (ancora perfettamente funzionante e dalla quale non mi separo mai), da un mio collega acquisto usata la D80 e il 18-200VR.
