sony_fe50_f1-2gmSony FE 50mm f/1.2 GM

Pros: the top among the 50

Cons: weight and price.

Opinion: With him I finally concluded my triad 24-50-135. the 50 GM is in engineering masterpiece. In spite of the maximum aperture 1.2 has an extraordinary autofocus capable of tracking very fast subjects. optical performance is superb. definition, blurred, three-dimensionality and detachment of the planes are the best I have ever seen in a 50. no doing, no aberrations, no coma. the diaphragm ring on the optics is very comfortable. I would have preferred a less bulky hood, perhaps metallic as in the Sony A-mount professional lenses.

sony_fe35_f1-8Sony FE 35mm f/1.8

Pros: Excellent price-performance-size ratio, good for AF and re-resolution

Cons: on 42 mp it has slight aberrations, too neutral as yield.

Opinion: I sold the 50 1.4 zeiss before it devalued too much given the rumors of a GM 1.2, which was discovered between 24 and 135 I opted to buy 35 and 85 1.8 taking advantage of the cashback. the 35 is not actually my favorite focal point, but it still remains very versatile. this 35, which many praise, takes a few shots on the 42mp of the a7riii. the resolution remains very high, even at full opening, but to achieve the performance of the GM you must close at least f2.5. photographing in the backlight or with reflective metals in the scene, slight aberrations can occur probably not at all noticeable on 24mp. Luckily I found no signs of flare, even shooting in full sun, if anything it loses a contrast thread, but I find it absolutely normal. the 35 1.8 remains a very light and very small lens. very performing at AF level, but, compared to the famous and expensive little brothers, it lacks verve. when I look at the photos taken with 35 1.8 I find them absolutely neutral, almost aseptic, indeed, midges. of course, processing the file you can get a lot. but already the 55 1.8 zeiss for me had much, much more character. I will conclude by saying that, however, it remains a MUST HAVE lens given the relationship between dimensions, performance and costs. it's just PERFECT for making street and generic walking photos.

sony_fe24_f1-4Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM

Pros: construction, ottich performance, compactness

Cons: Flare

Opinion: I am an "animal" from 24-50-135. I waited a long time for this 24 and exceeded my rosiest expectations. my use is more direct to the portrait set and I just love it! allows you to contextualize scenes of manual work, or set portraits. the minimum distance of MAF allows excellent use also the macro and flora. the diaphragm ring, as for all GOs, is extraordinarily comfortable. optical performance is also exceptional at 42mp. there is no sign of aberrations (often visible on these large limonosis angles), while contrast and resolution are simply perfect. Only one mole has this 24: flares. as long as the lumonous source is within 1/3 of the center of the frame everything is ok. but beyond it creates green flares that are really difficult to control and even more to delete in posts.

fujifilm_35mmFujifilm XF 35mm f/1.4 R

Pros: Small and discreet, vintage look

Cons: Autofocus, construction, price-performance ratio

Opinion: I used this lens for over a year as the only lens attached to my XT30 fuji. I needed a small and discreet combination but also fast and performing. I found the 35 a nice lens all in all, particularly suitable for the vintage nature of some fuji bodies. the lens really starts to show its side compared to competitors (especially FF). the seniority of the project is more than evident. the resolution remains excellent despite the very high density of modern aps-c fuji, but haimè aberrations are very evident, especially in some contexts. I had to throw away a series of beautiful summer photos because the rippled surface of the water was half purple and half green. but even contrasted contexts such as backlights are vuori of the annoying Purple fringe. the blurry is .... Vintage! very few differences between the blurry obtained with this 35 and with the 50 minolta rokkor on FF. in some contexts there is, in some contexts indeed, emphasizes. but clearly not in all. to me, after a while he got tired. also because alternatives to this fuji lens practically there is none. the 35 f2 is modern and very well controlled, but loses a whole stop and much blurry on aps-c. one of the most annoying things ever is the excursion of the frontal lens during sealing. Which I didn't see of the KIT 18-55 lens I had 10 years ago. that allows dust and dirt to damage the optics very easily. finally, autofocus. absolutely not at the level of more modern lenses.

fujifilm_xt30Fujifilm X-T30

Pros: small but complete and performance

Cons: the stabilizer is missing, af not at the top

Opinion: Taken with the 35 1.4 to be joined alls sony a7riii in all those situations where I want to bring a "box around the neck" while not giving up performance and quality. the sensor is great for both ISO and DR, but I didn't expect it differently as the last sony aps-c cry. the AF minus. Especially the implementation of face/eye tracking functions where two faces in the scene are enough to bomb everything. Although the data sheet speaks of 20 fps these can only be used in panning or subjects at a constant distance. buffer is reduced and writing slow. but at least it is allowed in the meantime to change and the parameters are clicked. the AF, at least with the outdated 35 1.4, is not suitable for dynamic scenes. As far as I'm concerned, it remains a chamber to use "reflex" with moving point, af and single shot. among the things I appreciate the most is the minimum time of 1/32000 and the automatism that allows you to switch electronically in case you need time over 1/4000 clickable and setable rings at will, fantastic jpegs, analog feeling. among the things that can be improved are certainly the af algorithm, the switch operation between the viewfinder and the display, the unusable fn button put there. Among the things I really miss is sensor stabilization. Also, since it is practically impossible to shoot under 1/120 freehand, I do not understand why filling half the time ring with times from 60 to 1" T and B. these last functions used obviously by easel could be made selectable from menu. I would have preferred a physical ring from 60 to 4000.

sony_fe100_stfSony FE 100mm f/2.8 STF GM OSS

Pros: Stratospheric resolution, always, everywhere. Blurred inimitable, colors and contrasts very natural. Possibility of light macro

Cons: As a result of the apodized element, although an 2.8 is optically, it appears to have a maximum T of 5.6 limiting on many occasions

Opinion: I bought this lens almost for Sfizio, having already a 85 1.8 and a 135 1.8. I was curious to try the smooth trans focus effect. I was absolutely amaliato from this lens, built impeccably, with Shag Hood, declickable aperture ring and fire ring perfect for feeling. The 100 STF in reality is a totally different optics from large luminous fixed. Its design allows you to always read the background. and "Pialla" the light points, which often in portraits annoy distracting the spectator from the subject. The sharpness is extraordinary on A7RIII, and even the tones of the incarnate have something more than any other fixed I've ever tried. Zeiss included. Unlike many other STF solutions This is autofocus, and it also works pretty well allowing you to pick up kids in running or biking. A third ring allows to set the focus distance between neighboring or relatively distant subjects up to infinity. I mean. It allows a bit of macro that marries perfectly in Flora's photography. Where the silky and uniform background, without dazzling light points or "balloons" from a very soft aura to the images. I guess I'm never going to sell this lens. Only real limit, as mentioned above, is that at the brightness level is a 5.6. So it needs light to be able to use it at non-stellar ISO. To have a moment idea what is capable this lens I invite you to watch this shot at full resolution: https://danieledimiccoli.prodibi.com/a/d8yzj72750v9y6/i/olg20d0qdk46kv

sony_zeiss24-70_f4Sony FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Vario Tessar T*

Pros: Small and Compact. Crisp and quiet

Cons: honestly, maybe the price

Opinion: The zoom zess Handyman I found it excellent paired with the a6300. It is very compact, light and Well-finished. The image quality is very good. Not as much as a fixed clearly, but considering it is a zoom on a very dense sensor there you just complain. You can't ask for the sharp angle, but up to 2/3 of the frame really very good. The AF is behind the a6300 without any problem, and is absolutely silent. For me a slow to maple asoliously together with a 12 and a 50 1.8.

sony_rx100_viSony RX100 VI

Pros: Extreme versatility in a pocket body

Cons: Accessory Grip essential, does not close and does not turn off until you have finished writing the Buffer. The autonomy is really poor.

Opinion: I have three young children, and there were holidays in the mountains, then those on the Beach. It is practically a siucidio carry a backpack but also a shoulder strap Don two-three Optics When you are around with borsoni, shoulder seats and Whatnot. The RXVI was presented with perfect timing! It was exactly what I was looking for (i had the 4th and the 5th for the low focal excursion). The RX100VI is solid, comfortable and very versatile. You can really use it for any scope. From the landscape where a discrete dynamic range allows to have good results, with fast and sporty actions thanks to the maximum focal, the autofocus, the exaggerated frame rate and in capacent buffer. Also for video is an excellent choice, with an excellent 4k and Slow-mo significtive; But you have to consider a gimbal. Holding it and moving it, with those minute dimensions, leads to excessive movements that are hardly compensated by the Optics. As now all Sony will recharge via USB. Required a power bank to be kept on the stock exchange and a spare battery. Only thing really annoying is that it takes quite a while to download the buffer of a burst and as long as it has not finished it is not possible to change the parameters or turn off the Camera. Therefore the optics are not covered and cannot be put BACK. The viewfinder, however fairly definite is an emergency cockpit. I always wear a cap to be better covered during use, but the opening movement was finally optimized (compared to the III i had). Now disassociating him from the side he rises and Exfles himself. Ready to look inside (and the room comes on). Finished photographing just push it in and with an asmall lever ance the viewfinder will go back on its own (the camera goes out). It is possible to set the menu if the camera has to return to the last selected focal or Not. There are memories on Ghera comfortable to have access ravished to multiple configurations together (since the physical controls are really safe)

Pros: compact but robust, af tremendously fast and accurate, possibility of af on the eyes even with constant f, IQ very high, up to 1600 ISO indistinguishable from a completely silent FF.rnscatto (3fps)

Cons: limited buffer (slow actually writing to SD. few external controls, no touch screen. flash off when shooting in silent mode

Opinion: I replaced the a6000 that already had a very good car, with this a6300.rnmigliora visibly in strength, viewfinder, shutter release button sensitivity and performance video.rnresta the flaw of slow writing scheda.rnl'af is the thing most of all I impressed. I took photos at football matches where the af was glued to the subject, without being distracted by other players who passed davanti.rnl'af provides extra functions with respect to the progenitrice.rninnanzitutto af eyes are now also allowed using af -c. and is a boon! I photographed my daughter while playing with a friend mattimani (imagine sudden movements throughout the frame with hand-passing continuously in front) over 30 shots only one was on the ear rather than opens the eye with a mounted 55 1.8! rnanche subjects who approach they are quickly tracked very well, with a rate of shots perfectly at 50-70% fire and shots still usable / printable close to 100% .rnrnè been implementata the expanded stitch function. As on many pro SLR you can assign a point (anywhere lel frame) in which the start traking there rnper then track the subject throughout the frame. NO, unfortunately, a convenient joystick to quickly move the punto.rnA Actually, other programmable buttons may be thought meglio.rnassegnando such pomp F1 to shooting mode I would have preferred that to every pressure change the shooting mode instead (as on all the sony) it leads to a carried away, so you need to select and confirm with the PAD. laborioso.rnlo slow and silent shooting could prove very handy in many circumstances (sprints from 30 "to 1/4000) but with this activates the camera mode inhibits the use of the flash, also controls radio external flash etc. probably because the slow sensor reading would create artefatti.rnla video section is at the top. I do the little use, but I can say that f is precise, and the function of slow motion (120fps with output in FHD) is verycarina.rnQui, stabilization on the sensor FF sister is definitely more effective than obbiettivi.rnil overheating much complained it happened to me only once recorded under the sun in July (after 10-15 min of different clips), while the rolling shutter it is actually noticeable in 4K by panning. clearly in a normal use it's really hard to notice.

Pros: Unrivaled versatility (in two minutes to become a small bridge hanging from the neck to an SLR with BG capable of working with large lenses) rnpermette to use all the lenses in the world and stabilization is very effective even at 1/20 of a second. rn

Cons: For professional missing something. primarily the second board, the autonomy and tropicalization efficiente.rnl'autofocus is sufficient for most uses and good traking of faces and objects. but it does not have the consistency and repeatability of an SLR.

Pros: Lens rather sharp, quick to focuse and well built. Double customizable button on the barrel for use in vertical or horizontal

Cons: 200mm TA and some copies (not mine thankfully) loses a bit in definition

Opinion: The story is this: I had a 70-300 G, beautiful fast but dark, and a Tamron 70-200 2.8, beautiful, crisp but very slow ... rnvenduti both and with a little effort I reached this small gioiellino.rnrnVa said this is the latest lens still legacy Kit Minolta. and this can be seen particularly of the colors that are beautiful caldi.rnrnLa lens is well done, the hood has a small side door that allows you to tighten the filters without smontre paraluce.rnla the sharpness is more than enough even the accuracy of AF is not at the level of the competitors. rn (Sony recently unveiled version II improving precisely the AF and making tropicalizzata.rnil price is excessive in my opinion for the yield, but on sony there are few other alternatives valide.rnrnDaniele

Cons: It is not stabilized, the sharpness from half frame to the edges is only fair, in any apertura.rnrn

Opinion: Purchased used, this objective is always with me when I go out in late pomeriggio.rnInfatti the kit lens of the NEX 5r is a little dark. and this is after all a 20mm fixed everything fare.rnsta also in his shirt pocket, unlike the sigma 19, which is still more nitido.rnrnIl price is not an exaggeration. Pros: Robustness, speed and silent AF, micro-contrast colors and excellent, soft and delicate it sfocato.rnè practically a macro. focuses on distances less than 2cm from the lens. rnutilizzato on APS becomes the lens for every day.

Cons: to be fixed with "only" F2 costicchia, but it is always a zeiss ... rnse was Tropicalised ....

Opinion: Will reflect the fact that I decided to replace the zoom 16-50 f2.8 on my a77 with this little gem! Rne are extremely satisfied !!! Pros: It allows to keep the nex in my coat pocket or in a bag. rnqualità than the average of KITrnstabilizzato and motorized excellent for video.

Cons: rather dark. 16 mm critics, fisheye distortion, vignetting and extreme.

Opinion: THis is the perfect finish to make a nex3n a replacement for a compact! Rnlo thickness is slightly greater than a pancake, allow the "pocketability" thing for me importante.rncerto that having a small optical, stabilized, motorized zoom lenses, has forced to a compromesso.rnrnil first is that the lens is quite dark, especially at 50mm where f5.6.rnInoltre drops to 16 millimeters are really ugly! you can turn on in the room fixes vighettatura, chromatic aberrations and distortion, but apart from that only apply to Jpeg, correcting distortion depletes a lot of resolution and with external parties creates horrible facial deformations! rnrnil problem occurs only in 16mm is intended . rnrnla feature of this lens is that it provides separate controls for zoom and f, with the latter, on the nex 3n, can also be operated by the lever that surrounds the button scatto.rnesattamente as in compatte.rnquesto, in my opinion, increases versatility, allowing the use of the room with one hand. RnrnLa quality is good, except at the edges to a minimum focale.rnConsigliata as a kit lens.

Pros: ergonomics, speed AF, Live View, face detection and tracking objects very fast and precise. swiveling display, video with fast and reliable fire even in low light.

Cons: only acceptable noise up to ISO 1600.

Opinion: So guys, it was practically given in this kit set for my a350 ... you do not you take it? paired with the 55-200 has made dozens and dozens of shots, it was basically a good companion. Pros: Sharpness unreachable for any high lens, blurred soft and delicate, high brightness retaining great detail up to F1.8

Cons: angle of view on APS too long, not usable indoors

Opinion: was my first lens "post KIT". There is also a € 150 in spite of the official price lists. today is the lens that gives me more satisfaction! You can get to PDC only one cm, but that inch is incredible detail! Combined with sensors stabilized sony allows you to take in the city at night by hand. Autofocus is not SSM, but it is very fast, even the ring manual (if you really want to have fun) is convenient and free flowing. Pros: Wide zoom range, fast autofocus despite the absence of SSM, sharpness, and especially three-dimensionality of the picture far superior to other KIT. to 80mm is still open to 4.5, which is ever found in very few other lenses.

Cons: the construction is not the best, plastic, ring of fire, if to be used manually, it is virtually unusable because of the hardness of drive. some chromatic aberration, a hint of distortion, and low-resolution angle at the minimum focal length of 16 mm.

Opinion: I found this lens with a discount of 55% in a common mediaworld. I replaced my a350 KIT 18-70 that really left something to be desired. I am very well, the wide range and good sharpness give me satisfaction. the front lens is not rotating support which allows you to use specific lens hood and polarizer, The most common use that I do is to large openings, well above the lens competitors, along with the stabilizer on the sensor avoid me to bring back the tripod. Pros: Display adjustable stabilized sensor (the first was in 2009) with traditional Autofocus Live View

Cons: noisy from ISO 800 onwards only 3 fps Viewfinder dim especially in macro.

Opinion: Reduce by two bridges minolta without the slightest hint of a problem, I have seen a good eye sony. In my experience it was essential to the stabilizer and I noticed that no macro lens was then stabilized, let alone the cheapest sigma. Dealing with standard zoom lens, the NIKON and CANON stabilized cost an eye, the optic used was made of old and not sabilizzate. Best Fixed Canon and Nikon (35 - 50. 85mm) still NOT have stabilized ... Moral of the story? I had a great desire to macro, then the two lenses side by side with the kit was a 50mm f1, 4 with which photographer at night by hand, and the sigma 105 macro. total cost € 420 ... The recent marriage with the excellent Zeiss 16-80 gave me even emotions. I'm really pleased. Who will instead use the remote often opt for optical stabilized then other brands (even in the viewfinder in fact there are no flicker) and also those who want to take pictures of sports, will limit both the rumoroisità over 800 ISO in frames per second.
