sony_fe28-60Sony FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6

Pros: sharp over the entire focal range, compact, very light, fast AF, excellent flare resistance, good star, price (if taken as a kit or used)

Cons: limited focal range, no lens hood, new price (if the purchase is not made in kit)

Opinion: For a kit lens it is good and the purchase is definitely worth it if made at an affordable price (in kit) or second-hand (you can take it home with about 200/250 euros); Buying the lens alone (as a stand-alone optic) at full price, in my opinion, doesn't make sense. I have listed the strengths and weaknesses above; In particular, the real flaw, in my opinion, lies in the very limited focal range. It is not at all a bottle bottom (...?!!), on the contrary it has a more than good sharpness over the entire (albeit limited) focal range and has a really good resistance to flare. The construction is "plasticky" but, personally, I don't feel like including this feature among the defects - as it contributes to the excellent lightness of the lens... Recommended if taken at the right price (200-250 eur). Rated 9.

sony_e70-350ossSony E 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G OSS

Pros: Lightweight, generally very sharp, fast AF, excellent construction and excellent value for money

Cons: A few too many flares with strong and direct light; F/5 > 100mm

Opinion: In general: it is a lens built with care and with good materials, of which solidity and robustness are appreciated; it is equipped with multiple switches and buttons; In relation to the focal range it is light and, all in all, not particularly bulky. Sharpness from more than good to excellent (towards longer focal lengths / 350mm loses a little bit, but remains more than good even at the focal length). Fast AF. I find it an excellent lens in relation to cost (watch out for price fluctuations, also important on emblazoned sites). What I don't like: with strong and direct light it suffers from a few too many flares; above 100mm ISO rises quickly because of the aperture F / 5 and, wide side, I would have liked to start from 50mm, but ... It would have been another lens. Would I buy it again? Undoubtedly. Rating 9-9,5.

sigma_dn16_f1-4dcSigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN C

Pros: Sharpness, brightness, AF, colors

Cons: Personally I can't find any

Opinion: I have been using this lens (with Sony aps-c) for a few months; has replaced (after more than 3 years of use) the Sony 10-18 f/4 zoom: when shooting, I don't like having to choose between too many alternatives. I immediately appreciated the characteristics of the Sigma: it is a blade already at f / 2.2 and at TA it has a sharpness that is still more than good! I find the colors very beautiful - one of the features that I did not appreciate in the small and yet very practical Sony zoom - and, in terms of brightness, well ... the distance is sidereal (despite being the sony f / 4 constant and, therefore, not bad): today I would find it impossible to go back. With the focal length I find myself very well because - although not a wide angle pushed - it is suitable for multiple uses (landscape, street, reportage). I read some unsupceive considerations about size and weight that I do not agree with: I shoot for fun and carrying 100 g more in my backpack does not weigh me down - if the optical yield of the lens is excellent, as in the case of the Sigma. The lens is very accurate in the assembly and solid in the structure. Accuracy and speed of the AF are excellent and seem to me those of a native lens. In my opinion a must-have on aps-c Sony. I vote 10 because I can't give him more.

samyang_35_f1-2csSamyang 35mm f/1.2 ED AS UMC CS

Pros: F/1.2, sharpness, three-dimensionality, colors, bokeh.

Cons: Light points.

Opinion: I've been buying this lens for about a year and a half, attracted by the number f/1.2. The structure is made of metal, solid and well assembled; the maf ring turns well and offers the right resistance. The lens is already sharp at TA; allows to obtain a remarkable three-dimensionality; in my opinion it has very beautiful colors and a creamy blurry that I personally find very pleasant; I am extremely pleased with this and, in fact, it is one of the lenses That I use the most. The only factor that doesn't excite me is the light points: I don't like the generated star at all. I strongly recommend the purchase only at a very low price compared to the price list - considering that the maf is manual and that for figures around 280/350 euros you can buy the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN C: an excellent focal lens almost equal and almost as bright, but equipped with AF.

sony_10-18Sony E 10-18mm f/4 OSS

Pros: Light, compact, stabilized, af fast.

Cons: Not cheap.

Opinion: Slow with good performance, moreover stabilized. I find it - in my limited experience with wide angles pushed - extremely compact and light and it seems to me that (my specimen) has good sharpness: in general I am satisfied. It's not a cheap lens (but I don't think there are many other alternatives with comparable characteristics for aps-c e-mounts).

sony_a6300Sony A6300

Pros: Very: very fast and accurate AF, image quality, electronic viewfinder, light and compact, eye focus, good set of APS-C light lenses available, C1 available free, mount and FF compatible

Cons: Little: Rear display visibility can be improved with strong light and not fully articulated display.

Opinion: I own it from December 2017, after having long weighted the purchase based on the reading of reviews and the visualization of shots both on this site and elsewhere on the net. I am very satisfied: the quality of the images of this compact and lightweight APS-C seems excellent: see for example on this site the photos taken with the 6300 from Juza. Although it has few terms of comparison, it seems to me that the possibility of recovering light and shadow in post is more than good (with Capture One, available free with the machine at the time of purchase). In my experience usable up to 1200/1600 ISO with satisfactory results. The lenses I've matched so far with greater satisfaction are the Sony and 10-18mm F/4 OSS, the Samyang 35mm f/1.2 ED AS UMC CS and the Sony FE 85mm f/1.0. Comfortable the fact that it can also mount FF optics thanks to the Sony mount and: Evaluating a possible switch to FF this allows you to manage your lenses with a broader perspective. AF very fast and Precisissimo: After 8000 shots about those messed up (probably more because of me) will be yes and no a handful... Eye Focus in AF-C very convenient and customizable via custom keys. Fun to mount, through adapters from a few euros, vintage lenses manuals of other brands (possibly benefiting from the focus peaking-personally, after experimenting a bit, I do not recommend the use preferring for the MAF the zoom function associated with A custom key). I do not use it for the video industry, so I do not express myself in this regard.

sony_fe85_f1-8Sony FE 85mm f/1.8

Pros: sharpness, colors, fast AF, build quality.

Cons: I don't know

Opinion: I've had it for a few months. Excellent sharpness already at full aperture; Nice colors and very nice bokeh. Fast AF. Excellent construction quality; Cost adequate for yield, especially when compared to alternatives (Zeiss Batis and Sony GM) much more expensive so, in my personal opinion, it is not worth spending 2 or 3 times as much.
