nikon_afs24_f1-8gNikon AF-S Nikkor 24mm f/1.8 G ED

Pros: Sharp, light and very performing AF (on D4s and D5 and D850)

Cons: Distortion quite present (I expected less), a bit plastic but you can accept

Opinion: Very very nice optics, I gave him 8 only for those small flaws that I found him, namely the fairly accentuated distortion and the feeling of little robustness (like all the lenses of this series). In any case, it is a very sharp lens with a fast and precise Af. I use it only as a primary perspective in weddings and it gives me great satisfaction. I still have not decided if it is better this 24 the brother 28 ....are in the process of intense use but for now I do not have time to test them well well comparing them. Sharp already at full aperture does not require (on 3 camera bodies) any adjustment of the AF but the best from F4 onwards. Given the lightness you can safely shoot even at 1/10 of a second and you will get excellent shots. Last thing, the bokeh: it doesn't drive me crazy (although a little limited by the focal length) but in the end it's not bad. In short, vote 8. Fair price.

canon_5d3Canon 5D Mark III

Pros: Low-heavy file management with good dynamic range. Good AF, excellent ISO tightness, ergonomics

Cons: AF improvable (In fact it has been improved in the IV), good dynamic range but.....

Opinion: I bought this machine at a great price (in the used now give them) and with satisfaction I knew I was not wrong in the purchase. Excellent, solid, beautiful files, the handyman par excellence for a matrimonialist who knows how to make the most of it. The advantages are many, from the files, to the ISO management and to an excellent white balance. It is an evergreen and until there will be valid alternatives to the Mark IV (read Mark V) will be Lamia second chamber combined with 1DX and 6d. Excellent battery life, the AF is fast enough and the burst is absolutely perfect for those who do little quick shots. Robust and very reliable with both the original and compatible batteries, no mistake (almost) never a shot and as I said before, the machine with which you can do everything. Of course, in the studio I prefer to have a few more megapixels but you can't complain. Recommended above all because of the price of the used now the minimum historical. Vote 9 (compared to the present day).

nikon_85_f1-8gNikon AF-S 85mm f/1.8 G

Pros: Focal, medium weight and made from 2.5 onwards

Cons: chromatic aberrations HEAVY AND ANNOYING. All plastic. high price to performance and overall quality. Fingering annoying even at small aperture. Unusable because of these flaws to f 3.5 then improves.

Opinion: I waited quite a while before writing this review from BAD JUDGEMENT. A view which costs a blunder for the quality that Nikon has accustomed us. I have had two since the first model I thought was bad, I realized that the second model confirmed the negative sides of this light. Annoying aberrations that make the lens unusable professionally. Backlit or otherwise in the presence of strong light (even side) loses contrast and definition embarrassingly. And to say that the previous owner had paid 500 Euros !! In the studio, closed-F8 is not as sharp as I expected ... In one word: a ciofeche. Rating: 3

nikon_d800eNikon D800E

Pros: Huge resolution, gorgeous files, dynamic range and exceptional sensor sprawl, ergonomics and body from real pro.

Cons: Really miserable gust, battery life

Opinion: I changed Canon for Nikon after using this "monster" of a friend for a week. I was filgorated by the quality of the baked file, the wonderful ergonomics of a pro body and the workability of the files in ANY light condition. Resilient machine, a tank that gives the satisfaction of shooting as you want. Fast in menus, customizable at will, to lti iso if it is very well (within the limits of workable) but if we really have to be fussy we have to consider the maximum level of iso: 6400. The micromove there may be but I really expected a lot more. instead, as always happens around social media, we always tend to overestimate (for better or worse) the quality and/or defects of our equipment. ImLast thing..... I had a 7D, a 6D, an 85 1.8 and a 70 200f4. But it took me a week to say goodbye to Mom Canon..... fairies vobis.

nikon_80-200_f2-8dNikon AF 80-200 f/2.8 ED D

Pros: lens quality, brightness, sharpness, but modern with an antique look

Cons: Pesantuccio (but nemeno too) absence of VR, AF loupe.

Opinion: I use it recently but with great satisfaction. I realized that the HIA sio pinto strong and its naturalness of the colors and sharpness of the file that produces a good quality and regular. You never jams, I do not know never crashes. A bit of chromatic aberration see but recovers with one click. I had this lens almost as a gift, and I just DO NOT go to the stable version. With the price falling dll'usato then, it would be a shame mon.

canon_6dCanon 6D

Pros: Eegonomia and lightness. Resiostenza high ISO and AF module (especially the middle)

Cons: Burst a little lentina, lightweight chassis (seems less professional and durable) and as others say the tendency to underexposure.

Opinion: I waited a few months to make my review for many reasons, one of them who does not have much to add than what others have told friends of the forum but above all to make a review you need a good knowledge of the machine. Not that I know of it, mind you, but in only 4 months as you can squeeze a car in order decantarne all the pros and cons? However, it does not matter, take this my opinion that is based on the experience and personal feelings. The machine has replaced my fabulous 5D Mark II and I must say I have never been so glad to no longer trust my 5D. The car sings very superb quality of the sensor and with the management of the high ISO the couple is really perfect. Truly, these are not the things, or rather are not ONLY those things that will make you understand that it is better than the 6D 5D Mark II. A little of everything has been improved, the management of the lights and the recovery of shadows (the files are in fact much more workable PP) colors of'Incarnate there is no doubt: the beats the 5D 6D 3 to 0. Of course, there are things that I would have preferred to have remained, such as the famous joystick 5D which I still regret. Or ergonomics Series 5 that makes the grip more comfortable and safe (to me that I have big hands). In any case, it's worth it. Hopefully a firmware upgrade as soon as possible to improve the AF module and we hope that sooner or later canon gives us an update that also trim the meter.

tamron_24-70_f2-8vcTamron 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD

Pros: Sharpness, stabilization (phenomenal) engine af fast and accurate

Cons: Hood, weight

Opinion: Really amazing rendition to any opening I was really impressed by the color fidelity, the relationship between light / shadow and for the remarkable stabilization. I tried several Canon series I must tell you that the result is more than similar. They are not as "professional" that you can judge the full, at least not yet, but I can not recommend this lens so excited since changed my 5D and has raised the quality of the sensor. Of course, the weight, between 5D, battery grip, lens nearly 2kg .... but who cares ..... lots of glass, a lot of quality and great satisfaction in files that churns out the combination. What about others? The lens hood is literally sucks (but have stressed all) especially in the thread.
