canon_24-105Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM

Pros: Hotbed, used price, colors, quality, constant diaphragm, robustness

Cons: Slight quality decay at f4, slight distortion at 24mm, I prefer zooms that do not lengthen / shorten.

Opinion: After a few months of use I share my opinions on this zoom. Year of construction 2015. Purchased to have a zoom on the center focal lengths that I use most in my tourist trips. The opinions on the forum are conflicting but I must say I am very satisfied. You must use from 5.6 up and (better) avoid the 24mm still usable. I really liked the color rendering. In my tourist trips I combine it with 16-35 and 70-200 all at f4. Mllto satisfied for the excellent functioning, really comfortable. I put link to my comparison between the 3 zooms. https://www.juzaphoto.com/topic2.php?l=it&t=4074177

sony_rx100iiiSony RX100 III

Pros: Very small, image quality above expectations, consistency of materials, video

Cons: Poor ergonomics, little "pleasantness" of use.

Opinion: That is, guys is a machine that you buy for its extreme compactness. This results in extreme ergonomics and very little enjoyment of use. In short, if one is passionate about photography he does not find much satisfaction in using it. There is everything but just everything, even at hand, but every time it's all a search for keyches and levettines... I started from the "ugly" things but the "beautiful" are many. Taken for the trek and there is none for anyone... with a few grams I have in my pocket a 24-70 of HIGH quality. REALLY ABOVE, with very workable RAW, great colors. I use it as a priority of diaphragms (A) if I need to use exposure compensation but it almost never serves; with the display that makes me exactly the image of the sensor I adjust with the focus/exposure and press the button in half, so much of a field professor there is as much as you want. Then there are many devils to set up, the zummetti very bright a lot of customizations, but in short the things you need to set are three... If I were to shoot in JPG I think I would use the preset scenes. Recap and concluding: machine recommended for those who need to move light; who needs to "bring home" the shot, the memory. If you are looking for beauty, passion, contact with the equipment better the 5DII (canon I have)... For over-recommended trek! For those interested I put the link to the online manual because the one provided is a https://helpguide.sony.net/dsc/1210/v1/it/index.html

canon_5d2Canon 5D Mark II

Pros: robustness, Ergonomics and, What is important, rendering of the Image. Can be used up to ISO 1600. With stabilized optics I do not go over ISO 640 and the noise is just minimum keeping in this way (640iso) a better ability to recover shadows. Q/P Ratio.

Cons: Boh?! The weight? If it is sturdy weighs. AF inusabile? Let's not say Nonsense. I really can't think of anything. It does not have the "tiltable" screen from ISO 6400 is noisy... Live view can be improved... depends on what you are looking for guys. The 5dii is a lady of a certain age and I like (also) for it. so, the shutter noise, if it were quieter, would help me in the museums... that One.

Opinion: In general, I have a certain inclination not to chase the technology on the "latest releases", a little (perhaps) for the fascination of things lived, but especially because I think that much (not all but much) of technological innovations applied to the latest models do not Modify the substance of the models of 2/3 generations Before. Arriving at the point, I bought used in excellent condition (25,000 shots About) last year the 5d Mark2 (coming from an excellent 40d that I have yet) and I am very satisfied and I would recommend to those who want to start in the FF world without spending more than 1000 euros. Surely the same talk could also apply to the 6d but I have the 5dii and I review that. In his time I chose 5 instead of 6 for his more robust body that moved me a feeling of object destined to last over time (sgrat, sgrat). Excellent colours, sharpness, Ergonomics. The images it returns fully satisfy Me. I can do a little ' crop thing with the 40d I did not dare. Fully satisfied, I'm Pensado to buy another... I don't understand the criticisms of the AF Inaccurate. Mine is not mistaken for a blow (remaining in the field of ordinary mortals) and when it is wrong it is always my fault... Considering the current Quality/price ratio (used) I give 10 laude.

amazonbasics_treppiede_alluminio_sfera_157AmazonBasics Treppiede in alluminio con testa a sfera 157cm

Pros: Value for money

Cons: At this price I can not express any cons.

Opinion: Of course we are not at the top but for the price that has the advice. It's a bit 'light, the closure / opening of the sections of the legs is a bit' delicate but overall I can recommend it. It is stable at the right point and with a good sense of solidity. I use it with canon 5d ii and tele 70-200 L f4 without problems. For shooting use remote control and self-timer to 2 seconds to not move. It is not made for critical situations of wind or heavy equipment, like 70-200 f2.8, in my opinion. Rating: 8

canon_50_f1-4Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM

Pros: Speed ??and accuracy in focusing. Colors. Dimensions and weight. Sharpness.

Cons: I can not find it. Fratellone 1.2 and sigma art have a more beautiful and soft sfucato etc etc, but one (1.2) costs much more, and the art is too heavy for my taste.

Opinion: Replaced the 50 stm with this 50mm f1.4. Many also here on the forum say that the change is not worth it and indeed some claim is better than the new 50mm stm. I have found differences. I do not speak (only) of build quality and precision / focusing speed, because even on the STM are good and not very distant (although both in favor of the USM) but I find differences in color rendering and blurring, considering also that there is almost a stop of difference. So I like a lot I'm satisfied with the constancy of the surrender, which with the 50 stm did not always happen. The stm often gave me beautiful images but sometimes with "cold" colors ... with the USM it has not happened to me yet. In my humble opinion the 50mm 1.4 is a great lens. For my abilities it is too much ... I use it with 5D markII.

canon_28_f1-8Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 USM

Pros: Speed ??and precision focusing, high sharpness in the center even at TA, construction, color rendering, overall yield of the optics.

Cons: Not very clear to TA at the edges (but I do not consider it a cons as aware of this and also purchased for this particular yield), Purple fringing (but no more than other "bright" lenses).

Opinion: I bought it recently used with original lens hood. I really like it, I use it on 5D markII. It has a particular yield, let's say "vintage" to (perhaps) understand ... Speaking of all openness (purchased especially for indoor use for portraits and / or with the subject in the foreground with a gradient background) I'm really satisfied. At the center is very clear, at the edges there is a decay of sharpness but in a pleasant way that highlights the subject that, given the characteristics, must be at the center (and not at 1/3 canon). The colors are really beautiful then. I have 85mm 1.8, then I took the 50th stm and then this 28mm. I sold the 50ino and I took the 50mm 1.4 which is of the same USM series of this 28 and 85. In addition to aesthetic and constructive level I find many similarities in the general rendering of these three optics. I like it a lot. As an amateur photographer, I also feel a bit "fetishist" and seeing them all together gives me great satisfaction (what do you mean?).

lowepro_flipside_200Lowepro Flipside 200

Pros: Possibility to access content with a flip-side system without having to rest it on the ground. Aesthetics, quality, lightness, comfort. Counterfeiting security; valid for use in the city.

Cons: I would not recommend it for tracking or campaigning.

Opinion: After a year of use I recount this backpack. With the flipside system, which allows you to open your backpack without leaning it on the ground, I first bought the 400AW that turned out to be well done and the flipside system satisfied me. It has also been revealed to be too great for some uses such as city itineraries or where I have to wear less equipment. So I also bought the 200AW, much smaller than 400. What can contain it is clearly seen in the photo here on Juza (I put myself: 5d + 70-200 f4 + 16-35 f4 + 50mm + wallet and glasses). Then it is well padded and with comfortable shoulder straps adapted to the size and potential weight of the backpack; so less padded and "heavy" than 400AW shoulders. The quality (sturdiness and comfort) is OK. What I think makes the difference with other equally robust / comfortable backpacks and the FLIP-SIDE system. The system is comfortable if you need to work without having to rest your backpack on a floor. Conversely, it is mainly used to support iton the ground or on a floor, the opening system on the backrest is rather uncomfortable since, in order to obtain the flip-side effect, the opening of the backrest, which makes the "lid" of the equipment, does not open completely and furthermore it tends to close, in short, makes the use of the backpack resting on a surface uncomfortable. I would only recommend it to those who have to use it specifically using the flip-side system, for a traditional use it is not convenient. I find myself very well.

canon_70-200_f4isCanon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM

Pros: Sharpness at all focal lengths and diaphragms. Colors, lightweight, robust, size (compared to 2.8), stabilizer.

Cons: Uncomfortable haze to handle.

Opinion: After a year of use, I also want to express my full satisfaction for this zoom. Used on 40D, it delivers great images, colors, sharpness to every iris and focal length. Also nice is the blur that from 135mm onwards is also great at f4. Now I will use it on the 5DII just purchased and I'm sure I will not disappoint. Stabilizer great.

canon_85_f1-8Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM

Pros: color rendering, q / price ratio, compactness, out of focus

Cons: Purple fringing in certain backlight situations

Opinion: I waited before writing this short review because I wanted to try it. I purchased it for portraits and this use refers to the review. Before I shot with the 50mm f / 1.8; since I started using the 85 I find it hard to go back to 50. Colors and embodied much more beautiful, a great focus. I must admit to not having experience with superior optics to this but the 85 f / 1.8 is a purchase for which they are fully satisfied. Even the focus coupled to 40D works well. On APSC "it makes" as a 135mm. Maybe on FF it might be a little 'short.

canon_efs24stmCanon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM

Pros: Small, light, cheap, build quality, clear.

Cons: no cons.

Opinion: Bought for my last trip, along with the 10-18mm zoom. I think it is a great goal and I'm using it a lot. Rendered images are sharp and always in focus. Great colors, great contrast, minimal distortion. I also strongly recommend it for the reason that the price is definitely one of the parameters, necessarily, guide me in the choices. I work mostly with fixed lenses 24-50-100 (APSC) doing almost exclusively pictures on the go, so I tried building a kit "light." And this little guy is really lightweight. Fully satisfied with your purchase!

canon_efs10-18isCanon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM

Pros: Economic, crisp, good construction, lightweight stabilizer.

Cons: Rendering a bit 'cold in exterior colors.

Opinion: Purchased to replace a Samyang 14mm mainly for reasons of weight, after reading the positive reviews. I review that I would subscribe. The target responds well to my expectations. And 'sharp at all focal lengths. often gives color to my taste a bit 'cold, metallic but it's probably fairly typical in wide-angle lenses. This makes the exterior and in the interior of the truly beautiful colors. I use it on an old 350D that I would not even change. A praise to the stabilizer which allows me to make good shots of the interior of the churches remaining in 400iso.
