Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD Pros: Stabilizer, price, general yield. Cons: Maybe the weight but it's a well-known feature Opinion: I recently bought this lens to replace the Nikon AF-s 70-300 VR that had fallen to me and it was not appropriate to repair it. Paid 180 € with 1 year warranty in excellent general condition. Used with the D5200 and D5300 the yield is at least equal to nikon, and exceeds it at 300mm and up close, although it is not a macro. Blurry pleasant for the 9 slats of the diaphragm, fairly neutral colors, but this also depends on the pictures control applied. At the moment I am definitely satisfied with the vr performance as well. I recommend it to those who do not want to commit too economically and also want to travel "light". sent on February 24, 2021 |
Nikon AF-P DX 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Pros: Cost, Af, VR, optical performance Cons: Plasticous and luminosity Opinion: Bought used as new to €200, I think it's a bargain. The lens is very light and compact especially in comparison with my 12-24 Tokina. The construction is not bomb-proof like the Tokina, but if it is not bad it is robust. Optically it behaves very well, the 10mm distortion is limited for the focal and it corrects to perfection via software, the sharpness is decidedly good and the VR, excludable, is effective. This optics shows that if Nikon produced lenses from the non-thrust brightness it could make excellent optics at human prices, because the only true limitation of this optics is the brightness. Very helpful sent on February 13, 2019 |
Nikon AF-S DX 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED Pros: Construction, compactness, AF speed and sharpness Cons: Variable brightness but note Opinion: Used a lot on the D80 and on the D90, sold buying D5300 and D3400 with 18-105Vr and 18-55VR. Now I've taken it back used to replace the 18-55 VR that's holding me tight. I was amazed at the quality on the 24mpx of the D5300 (and then also of the D3400), for goodness sake it is not perfect but how sharpness is definitely better than the 18-55 VR, as construction there is no comparison. Missing the VR is true however you can raise a little iso and brightness a little but it is better. Satisfied with the purchase having found one of the last built (from the serial number) at 140 euros. Recommended. I change this comment after a year of use along with the 18-105VR, VR apart from the 18-70 optically and mechanically on the 24 mpx is definitely better performing than the 18-105VR. Recommended for those who find a recent specimen in excellent condition like mine. sent on January 29, 2019 |
Nikon D3400 Pros: Weight, cost, autofocus, high ISO output, sharpness raw files Cons: Weight with certain optics, some limits in non-essential functions. Opinion: You can not evaluate this machine regardless of cost, I also own the D90 and the D5300, of the three is the one that gives me the best raw even at high ISO, 3200 is much better than the D5300. Some limits in the brackenting and fixed screen functions, but so much quality in the files. Only true limit using non-motorized AF optics is lost focus and exposure meter. sent on May 03, 2018 |
Nikon AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 G VR II Pros: Sufficient sharpness, stabilizer, light and economical Cons: Plastic attack, construction Opinion: Very honest lens if bought in kit or used by kit. New has an off-market price. It is light, sufficiently clear that it becomes excellent at F.8 / 11. The Vr is sufficient to compensate for the low light, typical of these optics. Clearly you can not compare to optics that cost three or four times as much, but you always bring home shots from sufficient to excellent. For me it is to have at least emergency.rnUmberto sent on February 08, 2018 |
Nikon AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR Pros: Cost in kit, versatility, sharpness and VR Cons: Construction a cheap and plastic bayonet Opinion: Taken in kit with the D3400, it's a good whole make better than the 18-55 VR. Sharp, light, it's a travel goal. Luminous in natural light conditions, it is clearly a little in crisis when the light tends to decrease even if the VR is really effective but it does not always survive to a more open aperture. Unfortunately it has the plastic bayonet although in honor of the true is quite robust, not like that of the 16-50 OIS Fuji which lasted me a month. Focus is not lightning-fast but precise, it is a good compromise from travel and, why not, during parties of children and adults where the quality is more than adequate and not worth risking a more expensive perspective. Price off market if taken new not in kit. Added: After more than one year of use I give him a 10 as a vote, optically is very valid and the vote obviously takes account of the low cost, I scrambled on the road and still the mechanics is precise in spite of the plasticous appearance. sent on February 06, 2018 |
Nikon AF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 D Pros: Sharpness, construction and color rendering, in addition to the macro function Cons: Front lens that rotates during zooming Opinion: Underrated lens, one of the best for the price-performance ratio of the AF-D catalog. I bought it as soon as I left because I needed a handyman to bring with my little daughter, and also loving nature had the macro function. Mind you stops at the ratio 1: 2 but the yield is really good used diaphragm 8 or 11.rnPassed to the digital DX format changes the use as much as it loses the wide angle but for nature hikes is still excellent, it lacks only the VR. Used in parallel with the legendary micro Nikkor 105 afd- does not disfigure and indeed beats on the blurred thanks to the 9 (nine) blades of the diaphragm.rnPeccato Nikon has never decided to update it to AF-S with VR.rnUmberto sent on February 06, 2018 |
Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8 G Pros: Sharpness and cost Cons: Unique against a slight distorsionern Opinion: As mentioned, the sharpness is excellent already at 2.8 even if you can safely use it to TA, paying attention to the focus that must be precise. Excellent color rendering with slightly closed shadows as usual for Nikon AF-s optics. Supplied the hood that serves more to protect it from blows because the front lens is fairly recessed and the anti-reflection treatment is very effective. The construction is plastic but robust and more than adequate for non-professional optics. Considering the cost should not be missing in the kit both those who use full frame and use the smallest format DX.rnA way to see the only real flaw is the distortion that is also low is still higher than the previous version AF-d and visible in some shots, at least for those who use it in full frame, it becomes ridiculous on the small format thanks to crop.rnDa non perderernUmberto sent on February 01, 2018 |
Tokina AT-X Pro 12-24mm f/4 DX II Pros: Colors, sharpness and very low distortion, construction Cons: Flare like all pushed wide angles Opinion: I recently took this lens to replace the previous. The optics seem to hold better reflexes while suffering from flare in the case of strong oblique light but it seems quite normal for such a wide angle. of positive the construction and the rendering of the colors, combined with a good general contrast. I am satisfied with the gearbox, made because I needed a motorized lens. Umberto sent on June 12, 2017 |
Kenko Pro 300 DGX 1.4x Pros: Lenses of excellent quality and no vignetting. Fast autofocus with optical motorizzate.rnPrezzo competitive and good mechanical construction. Cons: At the moment I have not found. Opinion: It 'a good accessory that I tried it with my D90 and the Nikon AFs 35 and 18-70 1.8 3.5 / 4.5 but above all with the 105 afd, which is actually intended. Excellent yield with the macro and even with the zoom, while with the 35 I have to diaphragm least 1.5 or 2 stop. The overall contrast is lowered slightly as the colors remain faithful. To recommend a purchase. sent on September 17, 2013 |
