fujifilm_35mmFujifilm XF 35mm f/1.4 R

Pros: Compact, lightweight, precise, sharp, blurred, price

Cons: No Wr - More than a sin against

Opinion: I have been using it for 3/4 years now, I am fully satisfied. The autofocus is dated yes, but the lens is precise. Excellent sharpness even at TA. Featherweight and minimum size. At the price at which it is sold then it is a must. Of course it will also be thanks to the focal length that is notoriously among the easiest to achieve and this reduces costs and risk of problems. I'm fun of 50 mm, I've been shooting for 7 years, I went through Canon 50 1.8 stm, 50 1.2L, 50 1.4 usm... But this is by far the best 50mm equivalent ever used. Too bad it's not also wr. Vote 10

fujifilm_23_f1-4Fujifilm XF 23mm f/1.4 R

Pros: Construction, compactness, image stamp

Cons: BACK FOCUS!!!

Opinion: Purchased and then resold. Used only half a day... I couldn't believe my eyes! I thought that problems like the Back focus on mirrorless system were just a memory... But I was wrong. The lens itself would be superb, a bit soft at 1.4 but for me it was not a problem, indeed, I am not a fun of absolute sharpness. The backfocus I found though was excessive. A problem that already occurs at short distances, in a reduced way, and then increases at long distances. The beauty is that we don't talk about it... or we don't talk about it enough. I had to dig well on the net before I came across a topic on Dp review where several complained about this defect (a guy had come to change 5 copies). Magnificent lens if it works, but the purchase is a lottery, strange really that in the various video tests on youtube no one talks about it ...

canon_35_f2isCanon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM

Pros: Autofocus, Compactness, Weight, Price, Brightness, build Quality

Cons: A little flat compared to the Canon 1.4 and the Sigma Art

Opinion: (on 5D Mark III) After a bit of real use on the field I decided to review this fantastic lens. I tell You immediately what is the greatest value, at least in my copy: The autofocus is not wrong a shot. Not even with low light, not even with the extreme side, even in AI Servo. In Short I was amazed because I always have the certainty of having taken the shot at home and it is not recently. From any distance, he is always accurate, the Sigma Art, despite being a sniper up close, from afar was often misfiring. The Construction is great, it is light and compact. For the rest that say, obviously does not return that dream effect that the brighter brothers know how to give, but the blur is pleasant and gradual, the overall yield is excellent. I consider it excellent also for professional use because of its reliability. You lose a stop but you gain on other fronts, all at a very honest and justified price. You have to be aware that, to have that stop in addition, the project is complicated and you find yourself then with a much more cumbersome and hardly more performanant side autofocus. In Summary an amazing lens that I can only recommend. Here's to want to be picky, for my way to conceive a 35 mm could safely avoid the stabilizer and make it even more compact.

canon_50_f1-4Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM

Pros: AF speed, compactness

Cons: AC Backlight

Opinion: This review comes after about 6 months of using the lens, lens that was purchased new in February. On my profile I also created a gallery "review Canon 50mm f/1.4 USM" with 1 photo, to support what I'm about to write (the photo was obviously worked with Photoshop but I have not added sharpness). I state that I was one of those who said that the 50 STM was better. Then, intrigued by the fact that after years the 50 USM is still so required, I decided to buy it to realize the real differences in the field. The first thing I could appreciate once hooked to my Mk3 was the responsiveness of the AF, even in low light conditions. The construction is not from L-series but the lens is light and agile. The sharpness of the lens is better than I expected: For those who do not want to compromise, already starting from the aperture 1.8 the results start to be good. However for those who want to push to the max and look for a dream effect, I found no big obstacles to shoot at TA, the sample photo that I uploaded was taken precisely to 1.4. Let's talk about the focus: with the lens just purchased the feeling was of a very precise focus. Moving away from the subject however, we say to the distance to get a whole figure, I noticed that the situation worded. Corrected with + 5 adjustment on camera, now I have found a good balance, compensating the problem from afar without making significant differences closely. Since I shoot very often at 1.4, I would say that the focus is really accurate because there are not so many shots that I lose. With the lateral precision of the AF falls and the images are less sharp. But I have to say honestly that any lens I have used in the past has replicated this behavior, even my surgical Sigma 35 Art. So shooting with the sides to 1.4 is a bit ' complicated, better to make 4/5 shots in an attempt to get 1 decent. I repeat, the STM was worse, the 50l we don't talk about... Overall this 50 1.4 is worth every euro it costs. A quality/brightness compromise in a barrel weighing only 290g. The Sigma 50 (not Art) probably offers something more, but it is 1 cm longer, 1 cm wider and weighs 200 g more. It seems nonsense but to the practical act the difference is felt. I will change this lens only if tomorrow they manage to improve it without changing size and weight.

canon_50_f1-8stmCanon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM

Pros: Autofocus, general rendering, price

Cons: The speech is valid on 5d3. Tested on the Canon 50D aps, the autofocus is less accurate, and the stamp and the overall rendering are not the same

Opinion: I waited a long time before writing this review, I have been using this lens for almost 2 years now, and I have owned the MkII version so I think I can describe in an objective way the advantages and disadvantages.rnIf I do not make a comparison with the previous version because Improvement has been abysmal in all points of view. The lens is very light and compact, this one being a pro, on the other, requires a minimum of attention because a lightweight lens tends to absorb vibrations and is easier Generate micromosus. The plastics, however, are good, nothing to do with the old version. The focus ring, if improved, remains a bit uncomfortable if it focuses in manual, especially with the hood mounted. However, the STM engine is silent and I have to say very precise (5d3, cross-side points). It's not easy to find the focus at 1.8 (especially if the subject is a bit far away) but I think this is the case regardless of allThe bright lenses, too often, in fact, are the fault of the lens.rnIt was the sharpness that struck the lens. If light conditions allow and if you've got the focus, TA photos are already clear. However, it is a delicate balance, just a light reverberation, a situation of little contrast that the sharpness at TA decays. However, I repeat, if everything goes as it should go, the lens is clear already in TA. Taking 2.2, the situation improves in the sense that in addition to increasing sharpness (the lens becomes quite sharp) it also increases the lens's ability to focus in difficult conditions. Of course, you give up a bit of bokeh, so depending on the situation you have to choose the best fit. RnThe bokeh I find it really nice and distinctive, confusing enough.rnPossiedo also the canon 85 f / 1.8 and the versatile 24-105 L, However, the lens is always my favorite, against any suggestion.rnTo finish the constancy of the results is the icing on the cake. The 50 stm will always be a snubbed lens,Of materials, weight, aperture limited to 1.8 and not last price. However after almost 2 years of use, I realize that it is only now that I am beginning to know this lens by succeeding in exploiting its qualities. RnCredo what really counts Both the feeling that you have with your equipment, having a more expensive 50 does not guarantee a better result if you fail to figure out how to take full advantage of it. Then say, a great lens at an exceptional price

canon_70dCanon 70D

Pros: overall yield, ergonomics, burst

Cons: It is good but it does not excel

Opinion: I had it, I was very fond of anke. Then given away to finance the 5D3 to which I added a 50D. So it is between these two aps that will make the comparison: 70D vs 50D. Speaking of video wins the 70D ... the other videos do not make them! (Li would with magic lantern but who cares, never done one) instead of talking pictures ... It's not that the 50D is best for charity, perhaps the final file is a hair better in 70D. But the problem is just that, a hair better. In the end we are there, the ISO seal is comparable. The AF module is better in 70D with its cross-type points ... but the dark was harder 50D! (Or maybe it was an impression). Certainly better ergonomics and construction in the 50D has a body like a true pro. The only aspect where the 70D wins without ifs and buts are the megapixels and the flurry. Overall the car is good. But what I think (it is my personal opinion) it is that it is not worth spending too much sOLDI on a 70d if you do not have to do the video. Why 70d (as the latest aps outputs) do not think that really offer a great advantage in terms of photography than for example to a more dated 50D. The final masterpiece is almost similar. to invest FF Council. Go read my review on the 50D to complete the picture and get an idea. Anyway, I got carried away, the 70D is still a good car, in line with other aps with a few grains more.

canon_50dCanon 50D

Pros: Body Pro, burst, overall yield of the machine

Cons: Tenuta ISO (but in line with the APS), the absence of some semi-auto functions (shooting T.MIN, ISO Auto), the display resolution (no impact on file ...)

Opinion: Possessed by a year a 70D, excellent APS, good AF (19 cross) ISO held slightly above average APS ... Then to make a gift to my old buy this 50D, used. It 'turned out I sold 70D and I kept my beautiful 50D to be attached to a FF body. (My father bought a 1100D) To make a comic comparison, if the FF is Goku, this is definitely Vegeta 50D machine :) We speak: despite 50D dates back to 2008, compared to the most current APS do not see this big gap in terms of ISO held ... in the end we are there, it is an APS with its limitations. That is why I preferred to sell the 70D, was economically evaluated more and the final quality does not then differed greatly. We analyze in detail the cons: the resolution is 15Mpx, not suitable for lovers of the crop, this must be adhered against while shooting. The sensor is beautiful dense, it takes good lenses (my mounts a 50 1.8 STM that helps the car when the light is scarce). Missing some carB convenient, better than you there is only the 7 series, otherwise it is not worth it to spend € 1,000 on type 80D machines and the like, unless you're talking about video. Does not feel the age indeed, this reflex can make itself preferable to many more modern rivals. In short, with € 300 we will take home a classic SLR, good quality and excellent workmanship. Speaking exclusively to photography is to be preferred to the current ODA that innovate little, they cost three times and profitable deals so do not do the work of a 5D mkIII ... Of course, the lack of some automatic and intrinsic limits of the machine require a little ' handle (not that I have it), but the car is worth and gives great satisfaction.

canon_16-35_f4isCanon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM

Pros: Sharpness, IS, Construction, AF, Price

Cons: Nothing to report

Opinion: No doubt about it, Canon has pulled flowers a fantastic lens at a price not too high. I should start explaining the pros, but allungherei the broth. Obviously it's a wide we do not do everything if you need a more versatile lens to be sacrificed, but if you want to cover these focal for me is one of the best choices on the market.

Pros: Duration batteriarnAndroid stockrnDisplay 5.5 "rnPrezzo

Cons: PesornBatteria integratarnVolume call

Opinion: Smartphone of substance, because I wanted to buy a phone and wanted to forget about fluid caricarlo.rnQuesto Moto X is virtually an unofficial Nexus, Android mounts stock that is always smooth and responsive. In addition the battery well over the 24 hours. In general, the battery provides 5 hours of display access. The screen is good and the camera 21mpx not bad, you can also adjust the exposure before shooting. The volume is heard loud and clear (to the media) while the call is in a bit remeber but nothing serious. Some is heavy, mabse want a Nexus at this price, with display 5'5 "and a large battery, this phone is the solution. Rate 9

canon_50_f1-8_v2Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

Pros: Price

Cons: None

Opinion: We start from a premise: who enters the world of photography for the first time has no need to spend € 2,000 for a lens professionale.rnChi this critical objective for its shortcomings (I'm about to list), is giving a wrong judgment and does not take into account the use to which it is intended this obiettivo.rnAllora, the build quality is poor, obviously this is plasticaccia, and the ring of focus is small so that I move with the focus not polpastrello.rnLa it is fast, I noticed a remarkable AC.rnParliamo the quality of the picture instead. It is not egregious, as you would expect from a fixed focus. However I did a comparison test with the Canon EF-S 18-135 f3.5-5.6 IS STM (zoom mediocre value of 300 €) and with 18-55 and 55-200 Nikon (the ones that were provided in KIT with d5100) that are also slow mediocri.rnIl fifty quietly holds the comparison with these lenses and, indeed, it seems to me that in some cases gives file migliori.rnIo I bought it used to only 5€ 0 and I am very satisfied. It 'was my first fixed focal length and taught me to look for the right shot and concentrate on composition rather than just stand there in the ring beating the zoom.rnE' a lens that makes the school and must be purchased for educational purposes and believe me, it is one of the few cases in which the object value is greater than its prezzo.rnE 'minimal investment that will allow you to gain experience that will come in handy when you are ready to buy the lenses professionali.rnOvviamente as mentioned above is a lens for educational purposes, not professional, but if you manage to find the right elements in a photo (light, composition, subject) and if you can manage the depth of field and the focus with this 50mm, you can take home good shots that can stand comparison with any other beautiful pictures.
