Nato all'Isola d'Elba nel 1957, vive e lavora a Varese dal 2002. Inizia come fotografo amatoriale con una Nikon FE nei primi anni '80, e successivamente ha anche esperienze semi-professionali nel campo della moda e del reportage. Dopo una lunga pausa, dedicata principalmente all'altra sua grande passione, la musica, si riavvicina alla fotografia nel 2017, passando al digitale con una Nikon D750. È membro del gruppo fotografico C.R.E.A.T.I.VA di Varese.
