Nikon AF-S 24-120mm f/4 G ED VR Pros: Versatility Cons: Sharpness Opinion: I have been using it for three years now, purchased in kit with the Nikon D750, it has proved to be a winning choice. Comfortable, very versatile, light, as many say you end up keeping it always mounted on. The only real weakness and incision, not too marked, but if one does not seek hyper-sharpness is not a problem. I do not consider vignetting, distortion and aberration to be weak points: all of them are really minimal, and they are solved automatically with two clicks in Camera Raw or Capture NX-D, once the lens profile is set in the program. Especially now, value for money has reached an important level. sent on October 26, 2020 |
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6 E ED VR Pros: Engraving, VR, fixed minimum iris, price Cons: Lampshed, long zoom ring excursion Opinion: I have been using it for some time, and I am fully satisfied with it. Very sharp and engraved, it has an excellent VR that allowed me to shoot freehand even in prohibitive conditions, but remember to always undock it *before* turning off the machine, otherwise to let it unlock sharp movements with the machine off could damage it. I also really appreciate the constant minimum diaphragm throughout the excursion. It's a little heavy, but from such a perspective you can't expect more, it can help a harness. The zoom lock on the minimum focal is also convenient. Efficient focus, the lampshon is quite a plasticone, but its work does. You have to take your hand with the long excursion of the zoom ring: you can not turn it all the way without taking your hand off; an alternative is to hold the bracket mounted, hold the lens from that and spin the ring with your fingertips. Overall, even in relation to equivalent optics, it has an excellent Q/P ratio. sent on October 26, 2020 |
Manfrotto Zaino Pro Light 3N1-36 Pros: Spacious, waterproof, well designed. Cons: The fixing velcro of the dividers is striped a little small, and sometimes they tend to move. Opinion: I have been using it for a while now as a "holiday backpack", while for every day I use a smaller one, from which, however, I have to leave out a canvas. The Manfrotto is excellent as a space and as a configuration of the same for your needs. Portability is also excellent: the straps adjust very well, and the weights are well distributed, so much so that it does not cause me problems even on long routes, despite the fact that I suffer from back pathologies. The side extraction system of the two-door equipment is convenient: I have configured the interior so that I can pull out the machine, with zoom 24-120 mounted, on the one hand, and the zoom 200-500 on the other. Competitive price, I would have made the Velcro flaps a little bigger than the dividers, so sometimes they come off. sent on October 26, 2020 |
