Sono Paolo Bretti, nato a Torino nel 1958. Dal 1974 coltivo la passione della fotografia. Ho seguito vari corsi e perfezionato sia la tecnica di ripresa che lo sviluppo e la stampa in bianco/nero. Nel mio archivio fotografico conto più di 2.000 immagini di musicisti e personaggi del cinema; sottolineo nomi di spicco come: B.B. King, Miriam Makeba, Fura del Baus, David Byrne, Jovanotti, Noa, Riccardo Fogli, Sined O'Connor, Robert Kramer, Enrico Ghezzi, Bruno Ganz, Sergio Castellito ecc.
Con i registi Robert Kramer (Usa) e Roberto Signetto (Italia) collaboro in qualità di fotografo di scena in un film documentario girato a Torino e presentato al Festival Cinemagiovani del 1998 a Torino " Conversation with Robert Kramer"
Dal 2004 mi dedico alla fotografia digitale e alla post-produzione favorendo scatti al paesaggio naturalistico e al ritratto
