![]() | Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM Pros: unique optics Cons: many if you expect a "correct" optics Opinion: I use it on a FF and it's a fixed lens..... in the sense that I never read it :-) apart from jokes, it is an optics that must be bought for an uncompromising purpose.... that's unique and fantastic bokeh. many defects, TA aberrations, low sharpness TA focus difficulties. said so it looks like a ciofeca, instead it is fantastic.... now I stop to talk about its use at TA.... because if you buy an f1.2 it's because you want to use an f1.2. mainly releases a "soft" file but not too much, for portraits too much sharpness could be more of a problem than an advantage. The blurry is unique, starts well in the center of the frame and then softens more and more as you go to the edge with fantastic colors and shades, forget the sharp blurry between the center and the rest. As mentioned it has defects but that all in all most can be solved with a minimum of pp. sore note, the focus, I honestly do not consider it a problem of optics but you have to deal with the reflex that you use. for a good composition you have to have good moooolto side stitches. with the plant there are no problems.... but, focus, lock and recompose.... with an f1.2 it's not a simple thing and just nothing, a little movement, to go out of focus. the use of the side... a lv composition would be ideal... but if they are not good they often go empty, if you have the possibility to use easel and manual focus it would be great. I use it on the 6d first model and with the side points I struggle.... but it's about making 4 or 5 attempts.... when the good one comes in it's great. it takes patience and time to use it.... it is not an optics that at TA with each shot takes you home the loaf. sent on March 23, 2021 |
![]() | Zeiss ZE/ZF.2 Distagon T* 15mm f/2.8 Pros: optical and construction quality Cons: Footprint Opinion: I've had this lens for several years and I've got to test it well. as for absolutely excellent sharpness and distortion, it is a technically perfect optics..... maybe too much. manual focus is not a problem and is very precise, it can mount screw filters which for a 15mm is no small thing. on the other hand, (if we really want to find any), it is the size... in a standard bag where 3 or 4 targetss enter you struggle to put it. for here lovers of distortions, who use the wide angle very close to the subject to accentuate the artistic side of distortion I do not recommend it because it is a very correct optics on that point of view. as for star photos at night, to be picky,(and by fussy I mean crop 100% at the edge) the stars are not perfect point shapes but have a bit of a "tail". sent on March 23, 2021 |
![]() | Samyang 85mm f/1.4 Aspherical IF Pros: price, brightness, made in TA Cons: no one Opinion: I bought this light (the walimex but as equals). to get closer to the world of portraits and I'm really soddisfatto.rnha a great blurred and the right sharpness to TA. the value for money is fantastico.rnha defects .... although I personally do not consider them such, or rather consider them "features" of optics. rnsoffre of chromatic aberrations in TA, but I defy you to find a perspective under the ' f2 soffra.rnnon who do not have confirmation of focus, and lack a bit of AF is felt. for a proper focus you need to use the live view to 5x.rnma as I said I do not consider the downsides .... how do I complain of the absence of AF, when I am fully aware that I'm buying a perspective completely manual? ?? sent on August 09, 2013 |
![]() | Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM Pros: Sharpness at all focal lengths and all apertures. stabilizer, speed and precision AF Cons: Absolutely nothing .... but if you want to be picky, weight, dimensions Opinion: It 'a fantastic optics ..... here I did a little test homemade: AF end very powerful and accurate, vignetting pretty irrelevant, excellent sharpness and colors. and of course all of this weighs costa.rnper regarding the stabilizer is not 4-stop as stated but a little over 2 stop.rnho did a little test and if 150mm shutter times of less than 1/50 begins to be of no micromosso.rnrnse you are going to move to full-frame optics is a must-have .... worth all the money it costs. sent on April 17, 2013 |
![]() | Canon 60D Pros: remains at high iso (for a sensor aps-c), screen orientabile.file very detailed. Cons: 18mpx at an amateur level are useless. Opinion: I switched from 450d to 60d. I reason behind the change was mainly related to a matter of high precision iso and f (the 450d I consider a great machine). rnCon the 60d I found all the features that I missed on 450d.rnle its features are the perfect compromise between a 7d and a 600d .... if you want more from an entry level and you do not need the micro, 19-point AF and a great burst over the body of magnesium in 7d is the right machine for voi.rni 3200 iso are utilazzibilissimi as long as not too much to crop the image and correctly expose the foto.rnla burst is good, but if rarely used, if they make frequent use is much more indicated 7d.rnaltra very useful are the means iso, so if you want to exceed ISO 1600 does not mean you have to put 3200.rnusa SD cards. sent on December 02, 2012 |
![]() | Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM Pros: Af, construction, 8mm. price of used. Cons: TA aperture f4, 5 Opinion: Optical amazing, leaving the only factor of its 8mm I find it a stratospheric optical, very well defined and has nothing to envy to any other angle pushed. can not be mounted filters but it is not a problem as far as the polarizer, one can do very well without because it gives a quite a nice blue sky. with the sun in the frame of the flare is quite remarkable .... just keep the sun out of the frame to fix the problem. as regards the distortion it is very subjective, if it is perfectly in line with the subject distortion is very limited. but if you are not in line distortions begin to become very heavy if you exacerbate certain shots, but I think it's a positive side because it gives you the opportunity to make creative photos. the only flaw is the aperture f4, 5 which in normal situations is not a problem but at least one night in the photos f3.5 would have been useful. In conclusion, it is a perspective that I highly recommend (and I have tried a wide-angle lens than the sigma 10-20 canon 10-22), also saw the price of used. do not recommend it strongly to those who love night shots ... in this case, the tokina is definitely the best choice. sent on September 16, 2012 |
![]() | Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro Pros: f2, 8 good focal length excellent value for money Cons: lack of stabilization Opinion: excellent lens. good value for money. I have often used both for macro, portraits and for giving me a lot of satisfaction. no stabilizer ... only the newer models and also more expensive and actually have it to the macro, the stabilizer gets comfortable. for those who want to bring the world of macro is good. has a good price and being a 105mm allows you to stay a good distance from the subject to have a 1:1 magnification sent on September 25, 2011 |
![]() | Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro Pros: bright at all focal price Cons: is not precisely lowered inbattersi in a good copy lack of stabilization filters from 82mm Opinion: is my favorite handyman. its f2, 8 fixed at all focal lengths allows to dispense with the sabilizzazione. valid alternative to the canon 24-70 ..... perhaps the most viable alternative. the lens quality is excellent, if you really want to go see the hairs .... the downside is that buying filters 82mm coast. I highly recommend it for the rest, used with a f4, 5 in a focal between 30 and 60mm gives the best of exceptional .... sent on September 25, 2011 |
![]() | Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Pros: Economic stabilized light Cons: dim to 250 is not exactly crystal clear Opinion: excellent lens. in that price range one of the best paintings available. good zoom range and sabilizzazione is very good. unfortunately is not very bright ... has an opening for a 55mm f4 and f5 250, 6 to 250 mm is not really defined as a 200 if you do not have special needs I highly recommend it, if one needs photo hunt or makes used frequently zoom suggest you look elsewhere. sent on September 24, 2011 |
![]() | Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Pros: value for money bright Cons: construction and focus is not always accurate Opinion: at that price it's almost impossible to find an optical ....... if we add the sharpness of the lens I would say that is the lens that everyone should have in your backpack. objective standard, taking a bit of convenience with fixed optics ... it is difficult to handle the car ;-) great for indoor photography and portraits. a must try sent on September 24, 2011 |
![]() | Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM Pros: excellent value for money and ultrasonic motor Cons: no one in particular Opinion: is an excellent optics, one of the highest optical thrusts on which it is possible to mount filters. valid alternative to the canon 10-22. if you do not have special needs diaphragm type 2.8 or an angle of extreme as the sigma 8-16 is the ideal wide angle, much cheaper than the canon but as quality is a worthy opponent. I highly recommend it sent on September 24, 2011 |
![]() | Canon 450D Pros: Easy to use, ideal for newcomers to the world of SLR and is not interested in making videos. Excellent value for money. Cons: valid until ....... 400 iso to 800 to 1600 ...... suffers very poor. Opinion: I bought the 450d to enter the world of digital SLR and I am extremely pleased. Not makes video ..... but for me it is not a problem as I see it ..... I .... cameras are taking photos and the video cameras. The only pecca.è really poor at high iso ...... not exceed 800 ........ but if we consider that the top of the range aps-c holds good up to 3200 ISO would say that there you can definitely satisfy. Consigliatissima to make the first experience in the world of photography ;-) sent on August 26, 2011 |
