Opinion: Lens bought many years ago to equip my old Canon 40D as an alternative to the 18-55. Taken used in excellent condition, it immediately proved to be the perfect companion for any photographic outing due to its focal length (obviously on the RIGHT) and weighs relatively little. Excellent for starting to shoot and spending little and having something vaguely better and wider-angle than the kit lens, but otherwise I strongly advise against it. My specimen, on New Year's Eve 2018, while I was doing a nice night to the stars and fireworks, after a gust of wind flew to the ground, broke both in front (the plastic ring) and also the focus ring and also the autofocus, in short today I keep it as a souvenir and as a paperweight, a task that it performs absolutely better than what it was born for.
