canon_eos_r5Canon EOS R5

Pros: Construction quality, grip, ergonomics, autofocus system, 2 memory cards, sensitive up to -6EV, LCD screen, electronic viewfinder, image quality, adaptability to EF- EFS optics with adapter, silent click, weight.

Cons: at the moment I have nothing to say

Opinion: Good morning, mine will not be an in-depth review of the EOS R 5, but a partial description of my first "hot" impressions I had using this new Canon camera. I waited a few years confident that Canon would churn out a high-quality mirrorless camera to match it according to my working needs to the other cameras in my possession and I have to say that at the moment (I repeat, first impressions to be verified over time...) Canon has produced an excellent camera that will certainly satisfy the photographer and the professional. The R5 is slightly more voluminous than other competitors, but when you have this camera in your hand you immediately sense that it provides excellent gripeability combined with an excellent level of construction. After reading the manual, I tried to memorize the basic operations that I will use in the daily life of my work and I am very satisfied today, the touch screen responds quickly to the touch and is customizable at will, I would say that the menu is intuitive with a few smudges, just a little patience and training. The Canon RF 24-105 mm f/4 L IS USM lens lives up to my expectations, very good and very flexible in various situations. I have tried the compatibility of the EF lenses through the ring adapter ring and I was fully satisfied, which means that at the moment I can use all my EF optics with the usual quality. The level of digital noise even at high iso (12,800) is very well controlled and the files (jpeg) are quietly printable, talk of raw files is early, at the time I write are workable with the canon DPP (digital photo professional) software. You can set the shutter to remain closed (when the camera switch is on off) to prevent the dust from sticking to the sensor when changing lens. By using the video part little I abstain from opinions. I hope I have been helpful, a warm greeting.

canon_24-70_v2Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM II

Pros: Excellent sharpness General (f / 2.8 is already clear), precise autofocus and fast, excellent color rendering, excellent handling, excellent construction

Cons: since it is an L-series lens and given the cost ... I would like to find in the box a padded semi rigid type the Sigma and not a "lackluster" bag cordon.

Opinion: I believe this lens almost a must for business use, almost free from imperfections, accurate, timely and fast for every occasion, to use non-working one can settle for some other lens. I would not complain if in the near future the Canon would add the stabilizer and a case worthy of the lens that is currently in the box is inadequate.

tamron_24-70_f2-8vcTamron 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD

Pros: sharpness general, stabilizer, button lock zoom range, blurred pleasant, good color rendering, good construction, price.

Cons: focus not fast, not always accurate af, af ring impractical (thin), zoom ring turns in reverse, diaphragm 2.8 soft.

Opinion: I used this good lens for a few months to use events to use work and private and he confirmed the good results, I was impressed by the excellent stabilizer and sturdy construction, with regard to the professional did not give me full guarantee in particular 'AF is not always accurate is this is a problem as it can disturb the use of the zoom ring that is running backwards (compared to Canon), working in such occasions Confirmations, Baptisms etc. with two camera bodies can have a moment of "confusion" ... rnL'autofocus is slightly slower Canon.rnPer use of work I highly recommend a lens type Canon EF 24-70 f / 2.8 L II USM for other uses is the optimal objective. rn
