nikon_z_fcNikon Z fc

Pros: Aesthetics

Cons: Construction a bit cheap. Lack of stabilizer on sensor and price.

Opinion: I have been using the Z-fc for about a year. I took it to support the z6II as the second lightest body so I can use it with both the 16-50 and the Z FF lenses. The machine does its job very well. It has a good viewfinder and a good touch display if you compare to the product category. The file is very good at medium low iso and generating a well contrasted, engraved file and with excellent GD. The resolution of 20 mpx now seems low but for me it is enough for almost all purposes. It has a well-laid out and easy-to-access menu. The main functions can be entered in the F menu and on the various function keys (which are not all programmable). Some functions could be added. The construction is a bit plastic. The ergonomics suffer from the vintage look and is slippery due to the absence of the handle. It is not tropicalized. The dimensions are more generous than it may seem in the photos. For what it offers the price is a bit high. The stabilizer on the sensor is missing and for me it is a significant cons since many FF lenses do not have it and the Aps lenses are very few. Sometimes Nikon is difficult to understand as their designs are compatible but completely polar opposites as solutions. In short: fantastic aesthetics (I took it also for this I do not deny it) but there is much better at those prices in the competition which precludes it to those who want to buy it as the only photographic solution. They recycled the 20 mpx sensor of the SLRs when with a 24 mpx Ibis they would have created a much more interesting product. Rated from 1 to 10 where 10 are the flagships type z9? I would say a 6.5 for the commitment to makeup and wig! :D

nikon_z6iiNikon Z6 II

Pros: Image quality, stabilizer, EVF, touch display, burst, autofocus

Cons: card door that opens involuntarily removing it from the backpack / bag, double exposures only jpg, lack of computational functions that give a sense to the much advertised second processor, very evident rolling shutter that makes the fully electronic shot almost unusable

Opinion: It's a good ML. Excellent sensor and construction. The stabilizer on the sensor works very well. Very bright and resolute viewfinder. really good. The display is also excellent both for display and for the touch functions also implemented on the menus. The memory card door tends to open unintentionally. The af performance is good but not excellent especially in af-c with burst. Unfortunately in this field Nikon has not yet reached direct competition. Although it has filled the gap a bit, it lacks advanced tracking features. In addition with the burst there is a very limiting viewfinder blackout. Things improve with the completely silent sin that the rolling shutter makes deform in a clear way even subjects that are not very fast (to be clear, a running dog is deformed!). The machine would be easily improved via firmware given the much advertised second processor. It would be very useful some more software function like HIRES in the room for example or the Live Comp. In short, we are no longer on SLRs and the peculiarities of an ML with IBIS should be exploited. Inconceivable the multiple exposure only in JPG which in fact precludes participation in competitions. In short.... nice machine but Nikon should abandon the old mentality and push a little more towards the new possibilities offered by current technologies. That said, I would buy it again for the genres I do and especially for the excellent native lenses of the system. I hope that at the software level they continue to support it with updates.

nikon_z85_f1-8Nikon Z 85mm f/1.8 S

Pros: Image quality, blurry, contrast, correction, speed af, silence... a little bit everything

Cons: is important enough in weight and size to be a 1.8

Opinion: A really successful lens. It costs a little but in line with other similar products that it outperforms the huge. It's not just crisp in an extreme way. It is also a lens with a very pleasant blurry... soft, progressive. A feature that is usually found only on 1.4. I've tried so many of 85. For me this is behind only sigma art which is a macigno unmanageable. I am very happy with the purchase and I can say that it is not only the price but also the transition to the Nikon ML system (along with other decidedly excellent lenses).

panasonic_s16-35_f4Panasonic Lumix S PRO 16-35mm f/4

Pros: Sharpness, low distortion, flare resistance, tropicalization and construction in general

Cons: Weight, disproportionate price for an F/4, a little AC.

Opinion: I've been using it paired with the S1 for some time. The lens is definitely built well and has a great yield at all focal points. In strong contrasts there is a bit of fringe but it corrects easily. The price is out of your mind if purchased with Italian warranty like all Panasonic material. If you are willing to spend that amount and do not want complications with filters this is the only possible choice for L-mount attachment.

lowepro_whistler_bp350awLowepro Whistler BP 350 AW

Pros: Back access, great easy-to-clean fabric, plenty of compartments, great construction and protection for the equipment, access possible without having to support it.

Cons: Cost

Opinion: A great backpack that allows you to carry everything you need to get out in the day. Equipped with various removable straps that allow to hook up externally various equipment. Supplied with plenty of compartments and rain protection. You can also put some clothes on the waiver provided you can give up any portable or tablet PCs. It is a backpack that prioritizes photographic equipment so the space for generous comfort and clothing is minimal so it is not suitable for outbound expansions over time. Personally, I have chosen it for the appropriate size for embarkation as hand luggage without I have to deprive myself of a backpack that gives me the opportunity to take water, dirty etc ... rnCosta enough (paid about 260 € discounted) but in line with the competition ... they have now realized that if they put the word "photographic" they can quietly spennarci! : DrnPer me rating 9,5rnrnrnEdit in response to Lina's review: the straps too are all removable and once the backpack becomes a normal backpack. The only objection that possonOr do it in case of boarding as hand luggage and that, besides of course the content and the sizes granted. I have removed orange straps and set aside since I never use it. For the rest I traveled with J2, EJ and RA ... All low coasts and no obstacles. ;)

sony_fe90macroSony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS

Pros: awesome sharpness, micro contrast, colors, construction, blurry

Cons: minimum opening that stops af / 22

Opinion: It's a macro lens but not a traditional macro. It has a very fast af to be a project for macro photography. Those looking for a traditional macro lens may also be disappointed. The smallest aperture stops af / 22 and the diffraction is seen af ??/ 14 and becomes annoying already af / 16 ... apertures that are quite normal in macro photography. But I like it very much because it is very versatile and allows the use in portraits by providing fast af and a decent blur. It is quite expensive to be a 90mm but the construction is of high level and the stabilizer works very well (tested cmq on a6500 and a7r2 both equipped with sensor stabilizer). It should be pointed out that on aps it does not become a 135 f / 2.8 .... it always remains a 90mm f / 2.8. Even if the crop factor has an angle of 135 to 135mm true it is another thing obviously. Very useful the assignable function key (I use it to focus on the eyes). There is also the limiter for the af to three classic positions. For the world And Sony is definitely a must have ... whoit will only take a portrait lens will have other choices but for me it is definitely a great choice. Voting 9.5

sony_10-18Sony E 10-18mm f/4 OSS

Pros: compact, crisp, great af, ease mounting filters, 15mm equivalent

Cons: Price a bit 'high but average, flare with front light, lights not beautiful.

Opinion: I have long been undecided before purchase because of little rave reviews, then I am convinced thanks to the review of Juza. I agree with him in saying that instead this lens is perfectly usable. I coupled to the A6500 and the results are very positive. The distortion is corrected well in the room and the sharpness is excellent throughout the frame diaframmando from f / 5.6 onwards. The refractive index is felt to f / 16. The lens from its best between f / 8 and f / 11. rnNon I noticed chromatic aberration problems but suffers a little 'flare with strong front light. You get discrete "stars" on the light points closing but did not reach the level of the 16-35 type lenses Nikon (I refer to the one that I know well). RNLA stabilization with a6500 is great but I do not know if the merit is of the body or the lens (or both). Af always precise and discreet, in combination with interesting focal even allow shots street very immersive. rnTutto all it was a good buy and coupled lens body does not make me regret the d750 and 16-35 nikon. Me too I would recommend their purchase!

sigma_85_f1-4Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM

Pros: optical performance in general, second-rate

Cons: It does not work in the af live view.

Opinion: In principle I agree with previous opinions both qualities that defects. Only add that in the LV af does not work (at least on the Nikon). It 'something little known and some of this information may be of interest. rnPer the rest does not have the recording of the last art of Sigma but it definitely has more character! I took a little more than € 450 used in excellent condition and I love it. The mine also has an af precise although not fast. Just enough to make excellent foto.rnMi feel to recommend!

sony_fe55_f1-8zaSony FE 55mm f/1.8 ZA Sonnar T*

Pros: Impeccable construction, fast Af, sharpness in the center

Cons: Little uniformity between center and edges, exaggerated price for a 55 1.8

Opinion: A lens that would be amazing if it were not that the difference in yield between edge and center is really excessive. I do not know if it was a problem of my exemplary fact is that I also sent in assistance and I was told that it is normal. If you use the blur in the TA and the colors are very beautiful but if you want to use for some detail, even diaphragm af // 8, you notice a sharp drop in sharpness up to about 15/20% from the edge. For a 55 1.8 from almost € 900 I would sincerely expect a lot more. The votes here are always too high! It is 10 to even good lenses but if you give 10 to this to an Otus what do we give ?? rnrnEdit: I bought a second copy after a year, which is much more uniform between the edges and the center. It should therefore be noted that there is a lack of uniformity between specimens.

panasonic_lx100Panasonic Lumix LX100

Pros: build quality, quality of the Leica lens, 24mm equivalent focal minimum, many manual controls, viewfinder ev, photo and video quality, quality raw files.

Cons: fixed display

Opinion: I purchased this compact to match my outfit reflex FF. Initially I tried various mirrorless but, although smaller than the SLR, were always too cumbersome to keep in the pocket of a jacket. After careful analysis I decided to purchase this compact and I was incredibly surprised. Construction sublime with many commands that facilitate the settings (great for a user accustomed to the reflex). Intuitive menus, viewfinder EV but also the incredible quality Leica lens made me fall in love immediately. The focal 24-75 is ideal for most of the images and the quality is perfect at every focal length and aperture. The large maximum aperture and the reduced minimum focusing allow the fuzzy really belli.rnIl sensor reports file is excellent for those who shoot in raw and for those who prefer the convenience of jpg also valued iso incurred. The autofocus is very fast and accurate, and very effective, combined with a burst so fast, kingnde the camera really infallible. I particularly liked the AF tracking ... just set the subject and the machine does the resto.rnPer the video department I do not imbalance because they are not versed in the subject but out of curiosity I did a test and it seems to me that the result is nothing short of crazy .. I do not know if there is any better but already it seems to see a dvd! rnUnico possible improvement would be to have the tilting display for shooting from above and basso.rnNon is a camera that replaces a camera that no but it is a valuable addition for those times when you want to travel light without sacrificing a file of excellent quality while maintaining the compactness that a mirrorless + zoom handyman can not garantire.rnConsigliatissima !!! Do rating 9 instead of 10 only for the absence of the display tilting.

Pros: Capacity of photographic material, materials, waterproof shell, 4 ways to access the equipment photographic, good protection.

Cons: No one compartment for clothing or comfort items. External appendages very uncomfortable.

Opinion: 3B is not too cumbersome using a standard accessory. It comes with a kind of saccocia Side where you can stay a little bottle. Frankly I find very uncomfortable these appendices also because it is very easy to lose them.

sigma_50_f1-4artSigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art

Pros: sharpness in TA, great blurry and out of plans, MAF manual adjustable dock with USB, construction, color rendering.

Cons: AF is not always accurate in all light conditions to TA on some points of the sensor.

Opinion: I use it for a couple of months of D800. I must admit that the first few days I was somewhat puzzled by the behavior of AF that made me fear that I have a nice one. After closing the fear in a drawer it took was a half hour with the appropriate software and USB dock to get a decent calibration. It 'still needed a good correction is on the lens in the camera body to get the right sharpness to TA. Even so, the points side sometimes cane fire. Frankly it is not an insurmountable problem because the problem occurs only with a couple of points and low side (not a problem of the D800 as with other lenses is no problem!). AF / 2.0 the problem disappears altogether. With the central points the AF is also accurate and fast. The sharpness is spectacular already 1.4 and 2.0 become something really embarrassing to the point that must be taken with the D800 in post and avoid adding sharp. A TA cartoon a little 'but easy fixes the post francamente vignetting is a very soft which I like very much. Very beautiful ring of MAF. Allows smooth and precise focus manually in a precise (unlike what happens with the optics of Nikon G). Useful thing: using the USB dock and dedicated software, you can adjust the travel of the ring MAF! Mica small thing! RNI colors are natural and brings contrast images. It performs well even in backlight and the hood protects well to do in the event of a side light forte.rnConclusione: a lens is difficult to use and it's certainly not for everyone! It 'a blade but does not forgive mistakes. I think the great lens at a very low price. Many have sold because of AF but there are those who buy one Zeiss at the same price for the manual focus thing that can be done easily even with Sigma in the case, we must be in special situations (I got to try 50 1.4 Zeiss and frankly in terms of image did not seem the best Sigma) ...for all other situations with the 21 central points the AF is lightning-fast and precise. My vote is 9.5 (whereas the votes here on the forum are always very high and that it would be 10 if it were not for the cons of that I just mentioned).

manfrotto_mt190xpro4Manfrotto MT 190 X PRO4

Pros: Stability, improved the central hub than the old series.

Cons: Release levers too bulky legs and feet too small.

Opinion: I purchased version 4 sfli aluminum to have less space when folded. I already have a 055 first series only three sections, however, it is impossible to tie the pack because of the length. With 190 to 4 extension, although challenging cmq a tripod, you can tie it to the backpack and to have such a free hand. The use for the D800 usually with wide optical but also with 300 f / 4 mainly for paesaggi.rnNon is a feather but on the other hand in certain situations it is essential to the stability and safety and this stand satisfies the demands even if, as it is obvious that, with all the legs extended and in windy conditions, it loses a bit 'in efficacia.rnMigliorato much the central hub than the first version. Now with the vertical column is much more stable and does not yield. Even with the column at 90 degrees has improved although it is best not to overdo it with weight and estensione.rnOttime and legs a little 'less pins which in my opinion are too small and in sandy soils it resent. Even the levers of releases of the sections I do not knownot liked too .. well, aesthetically beautiful but too bulky and protruding inter alia, the plastic seems a bit 'poor thing ... over time we will see, for now I'm happy with the purchase. That 's what I was looking for my purposes (landscapes in tough situations and not, study and travel without sacrificing stability as a tripod with lighter).

nikon_70-200_f4vrNikon AF-S 70-200mm f/4 G ED VR

Pros: sharpness, low weight, blurred, speed af, minimum distance maf

Cons: no one

Opinion: If we want we can find defects: plasticky, missing the collar, the hood is bad etc ... rnMa sorry, each lens has its function. I personally took for landscapes. It has an optical performance at all focal incredible ... even better than the brother he f / 2.8! The blurred if only f / 4 is very pleasant and already at f / 4 is absent from defects ... what the f / 2.8 instead presents such as vignetting. It weighs nothing and then the collar does not interest me because in the backpack just breaks the boxes !!! mica small thing for those taking planes or take it in the mountains at 3500 meters. He stabilizer which is amazing and allows shots to 200 mm to 1/60 with sensors such as the D800! RnPoi talk about the distance of focus: 1mt poor compared to 1.5 in the 70-200 f / 2.8 which means that even in the portraits gets along just fine with excellent blurred as long as the photographer knows him and knows how to use it better (this obviously applies to all equipment) .rnIo believe that the strength of this lens is the practicality and versatility. It allows you to do everything at optimum levels ... certainly not a 135 F / 2.0, it is not a 300 f / 2.8 macro and not a 100, but if one wants a lens specialist takes it and uses it to situations for which it is designed. rnChi choose this lens I'm sure they will be impressed by the optical quality and its praticità.rn

fujifilm_23_f1-4Fujifilm XF 23mm f/1.4 R

Pros: Sharpness, construction

Cons: I would say no

Opinion: It 'was love at first shot ... have a yield that turns my x-1 and does not look bad in compare to D800.rnLo blurred and is great off the subject in a soft backgrounds with confusi.rnLA construction is flawless . They say that the aperture ring is soft ... but what does it mean? the shots are well spaced and noticeable so even if chissen soft ... just the control is precise. Surely I would have preferred a tougher nut and less sharpness precisa.rnLa TA is superb as is the vignette very small. The AF is fast due to the characteristics of the lens and also precise (it is the x-1 ... I do not dare to imagine on an x-pro or a xt-1) is not .rnSicuramente piccolissmo ... but it's still a 23 f / 1.4. Maybe because I'm used to them FX and a 35mm f / 1.4 is larger maggiori.rnSe well I'm forced to find a flaw is the switch between AF and manual focus ... I never put up with commands to "pump" but maybe that's my problem. ;)

manfrotto_054q5Manfrotto 054 QR5

Pros: Small size, control levers, arm length, materials .....

Cons: no one

Opinion: I already had a 410 but I needed a ball head for the most dynamic situations and especially with weight and dimensions inferiori.rnLa head object is superb with the commands of the right size that make them functional while maintaining excellent ingombri.rnLa clutch works well (even I admit that I've never used with super tele ... with maximum 300 f / 4). Maybe a little 'hard axis scenic but nothing that affects their funzionalitàrnMi also like the bracket with a longitudinal excursion abundant. This allows you to move back room approaching the nodal point of the lens axis of rotation ... no small feat for those who want to try their hand at some panoramic without spending capital heads dedicate.rnAltra gem is the limit (red lever) that prevents the machine to go down too forward ... useful when shooting vertically or only to prevent accidental collision of the lens with a tripod when sbadataggine.rnAnni ago I had the 498 RC2 then donated to my girlfriend ... but certainly effective this is another planet!
