Work: Chirurgo, ora in pensione

Interests: Lettura, fotografia, viaggi e sport

Sono nato a Roma. Ho fatto il chirurgo ospedaliero per 40 anni, ed ho terminato in missione per 72 giorni nella stazione italiana "Zucchelli" in Antartide. Mai "fine" avrebbe potuto essermi più congeniale. Ho amato i viaggi, anche estremi, per tutta la vita, e li amo ancora. E con essi le letture relative e la fotografia dagli anni '70. Sono qui su Juza fin dai primi tempi del sito negli anni 2000 col fine di imparare.
Faccio mie le parole di Giuseppe Tucci, esploratore, viaggiatore e scrittore italiano del XX secolo: "Se vuoi conoscere un Paese non basta lo studio a tavolino: la conoscenza deve essere sollecitata da un contatto diretto, non soltanto con gli abitanti, ma soprattutto con i luoghi. Il cielo, i fiumi, la terra non sono gli stessi dappertutto. Sono come impregnati della vita e del pensiero di chi li abitò, come isole di immortali su cui, per un sortilegio divino, si libra un segreto antichissimo".
