Ciao...mi chiamo Mauro Ortogni, sono, nato nel 1961 e vivo in provincia di Brescia.
Ho ereditato la passione per la fotografia da mio padre quando ero ancora bambino, ricordo ancora le foto scattate con la Contax a telemetro che papà mi lasciava usare nonostante la giovane età, nel 1978 poi ho acquistato la mia prima reflex.

Con l'avvento del digitale e convinto che sarebbe stato il futuro della fotografia, nel 2003 ho abbandonato il rullino.
Ho ben accettato quanto l'informatica e l'elettronica hanno cambiato il mondo della fotografia, ma non amo le immagini troppo elaborate in post con programmi HDR e simili, sono rimasto un estimatore della manipolazione meccanica e dei filtri, apprezzo di più la creatività costruita sul campo, a quella ottenuta in post produzione.
