![]() | Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 GM Pros: Weight, build quality, fast af, colors Cons: Almost anonymous lens Opinion: I had this lens available for a month, mainly for weddings, it is a perfect lens, even too much, and this makes it paradoxically anonymous. She is like a beautiful woman but without character, one of those who after the first outing begins to bore you ? and you can't wait to take her home. Joking aside I think it is too "clinical" and using it was not gratifying, I prefer 35 art, many will call me blasphemous but it is my opinion. sent on April 01, 2025 |
![]() | Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD Pros: Obviously focal range and quality in construction, good at all focal lengths Cons: Xxx Opinion: I state that it was a fixation of mine, I own the luxury "all-rounder" 24-70 GMII which is a great lens and a whole series of fixed 1.4 and 1.8 from 35 to 85 so my "palate" can still be defined as "good". Enticed by this all-rounder with more excursion and excellent aperture, which would have allowed me to often use a single lens more for events, which I deal with. I must say that the lens does not disappoint in the focal lengths from 35 to 135 to 150 it seems a little less engraved. sent on November 15, 2023 |
![]() | Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 Pros: Good construction, attractive and original design, good colors, weight, af. Cons: Stabilizer, high cost compared to quality. Opinion: I used this lens for 3 years and although of "blue blood" it never convinced me to the end. Meanwhile, the stabilizer did not work well with my stabilized bodies, strangely a micro-shake was often generated when it was active (maybe my failed specimen??), and unfortunately, not having a dedicated button on the lens I had to deactivate also that of the sensor from the menu to be quiet, but I had taken it just to have the double stabilization body / lens!!!. LIGHTNING FAST AND ALMOST INFALLIBLE AF, even with little light, very quiet. The rendering of the lens drops dramatically when working in low light conditions, while it is sharp and bright in good lighting. I switched to sigma 85 dg DN, monstrous, and sold it without regret, a lens to which I gave 7 but I was good. sent on October 08, 2021 |
![]() | Sony A7 III Pros: Quality sensor, high ISO, scary AF, battery life, possibility of customizing the room, double slot (for coronary arteries). Cons: Ergonomics, colors that can be improved. Opinion: I took 2 specimens just presented, I come from Canon in practice I had them all except the 5DMK IV, and I must say that working with ML is fantastic, you have everything under control. The thing that impressed me is the quality of the files that generates this room, shadow recovery and exceptional highlights. Another strong point is the AF in all its "declinations" impeccable, opens New horizons. I would never go back to reflex, the only drawback I miss the Canon colors a bit, but nothing. The use for wedding and is perfect, I chose this and not the R to have more slender files, the 24mp of 7 III are more than enough, would be good even 16mp for my taste. Other Neo I would have preferred a deeper grip, but cmq I'm used to it. sent on February 20, 2019 |
![]() | Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Pros: Constructive PRO quality, crisp images at f1.4, incredibly fast and, hearing you heard PRECISO, blurry creamy. Cons: Size, weight, filter diameter 86?. Opinion: Taken today made a very good impression, I already possess the 50 art, excellent, and this seems to confirm all the good of that lens with a much more precise af (test on 5dmk3). If you're looking for a handy and lightweight lens this is not your goal, really great, comparable to the Canon 24-70 f2.8 first series. I will keep updating further after having used it more. GENDER: After 11 months I can say with certainty that this is a wonderful lens in everything, I had to make small corrections with the dock and working at 1.4 very rarely fucking fire 1 on 30 photos (I'm likely to move when I get back together). Superb sharpness, blurry soft very real colors. If it were not for the weight and the size would not rival, in my opinion it did not. Cosigliatissimo !! sent on December 02, 2016 |
![]() | Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM II Pros: Sharp already in TA, precise in maf (even with the extreme side of 5dmark3) fast and versatile. Cons: None for now, to be trivial, I would have liked is a canon and a f2 but I was happy;) Opinion: I state that I own a few hours there and I made a few shots (maybe 100) more than other tests. Compared to the first version, I find nothing that unites them except the Red Line and the focal length. Compared with the Tamron 24-70 VC it ??is definitely better as reliability in maf. It is true that the Tamron has stabilized but the two examples that I had and then made both created fuzzy slight but unacceptable when the VC was added (front x focus accuracy) disappearing excluding the VC (is). Mysteries !!!! The yield of the Tamron was great but the canon is another level definitely much engraved and "brilliant". It even 24-105 f4 which has great value q / p but is beginning to be clear from f5 / 5.6 and it is too to work indoors. I plan to review it in greater detail when I have brought in "trenches" and pressed duty. THE price penalizes him but should be considered if you want the "top-zoom" on these focal. AGGGIORNO: After a serious test in the field confirmthe goodness of qursto objective clear and precise incidentally also TA beautiful colors. sent on July 21, 2015 |
![]() | Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Pros: Good in all, it does what it should and the right coast Cons: ndn Opinion: I own it for two years and it was a choice ponderatissima. I am a professional and I chose the "little brother" x a number of reasons: weight, made entirely paragonabilie to 2.8 (at the same aperture and focal) footprint is, af excellent and the price of 40% infetiore. I am a portrait painter and love fixed, but the zoom qursto always carry with me, and when I call into question responds properly is sharp and well in counter-balanced chromatic level, I'm not a fanatic of diagrams and extreme tests, the picture is more for me . Usually I always two bodies hanging with its lens and carry around a 2.8 is would be a sacrifice. I recommend it. Ps I read some reviews and I read as account: "only f.4" I would understand if it is a surprise and you did not know before buying it? Can never be a defect if I choose a gasoline car and then mention the fact that between the defects is petrol ?? Mha !! sent on March 05, 2015 |
![]() | Canon 5D Mark III Pros: AF high-level, dual-slot, operational speed and strength of materials Cons: the quality of files that pulls out is entirely paragonabilie to version 2 or not one can see a substantial improvement in terms of range and colors ... better at high iso. Opinion: Taken as a replacement to 5Dm2, alongside the excellent 6d in my work matrimonialista. The 6d was not encored in my kit especially x double slot, if there was I would have gladly saved 1000 Euros. Anyway my review is positive, the feeling is immediate and the performance is excellent. Compared to 6d is more reactive, af monstrous, I use the center usually serves but when I know I can count on other points outside very precise and scattered everywhere. The images are in a bit as superintendent consistency to 6d although it has a bit of noise at low ISO in gray "closed". The machine is cmq of "race". I report RCE Padua Riviera Tito Livio as store, price availability and demonstrated competence. When not using x video I can not review this aspect of the room. sent on February 22, 2015 |
![]() | Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Pros: everything, just the top and not only in its price range Cons: not having it Opinion: Arrived today I allow me to enter my opinion though perhaps a little premature. I did about 200 shots, with the intention of finding the limits to this lens, for now she wins. Flare excellent, keep at TA impressively, an incision unrivaled fire is reactive not comparable to that of 'ef85 f / 1.8 which is an arrow but cmq fast, also saw the mass that has to move. The construction is excellent and the fluid ring giusto.Per get in a bit d + (qualitatively) should spend 2,500 euros for the Zeiss Otus .... and I do not think will ever !! Used Canon 6d. rnrn **** UPDATE *** after almost a month, but unfortunately I have to correct the roll of this lens, that even if the optical layer is formidable, preserves the problem "atavistic" Sigma, namely, the 'AF. After a series of tests I found a fluctuating behavior in focusing on the same point, it is fickle. Since they are able to make it I will avoid taking the dock, which I think noNo can solve this specific problem. Sin is a goal that stimulates and satisfies for its build quality and optics, AF to be reviewed by SIGMA :-( rnrnrn "" "" "" "" "" "" "" "NEW UPDATE" "" "" " "" "" "" "" "" rncome written above was determined to make the lens, but really I was sure that he could not find a lens as "formidable" optically speaking. I bought the dock and I settled with great satisfaction, with the same Calibration is great on my mk3 5d and 6d. Lens of a higher class have never seen a lens so engraved in 1.4 is incredible, it is blurry soft and gradual, super glad I is the top .... and I normally I enthusiastically so easily ..... great invention the dock sigma !! rnAGGIORNAMENTO: after about eight months I can say that is afantastic lens the best around, personally I love it and would not sell ever. sent on December 19, 2014 |
![]() | Canon 6D Pros: image quality, performance at high ISO, a real FF ideal for portraiture, landscapes and study, great f using the center point, easy to use and very intuitive and simple with a few "frills." Cons: if you really look a flaw I would say the quality of the buttons compared to the various 5d which are firmer and the AF but only with respect to 5dMK3 and 1DX (within FF) Opinion: her own about a year and I must say it is money well spent. If you point to a room "essential" with a lot of substance and a few "tricks" that's great questa.I raw files are lavorabilissimi (+ than the 5D MKII). I can not evaluate images with iso "absurd" but for sure when you are in such conditions as to raise them a little (1000-1600-2000) behaves very well. It is not a room to "trench" should be used with due attention, given the quality of the materials, but if you are interested in the end result and you deal with portraiture is excellent. I think it is always the optics to make a difference greater than the camera body. The rest, at times, is pure marrketing the manufacturers emphasize that unnecessary features and complex that rarely ever be used. sent on December 08, 2014 |
