Ho avuto la prima macchina fotografica nel 1973, una bencini comet II con cui mio padre aveva cominciato tanti anni prima; col passare degli anni la passione è cresciuta e sono passato a Taron VL a telemetro, per arrivare alla reflex i primi anni 80 (con Canon FTql tutta manuale, poi una AV1 automatica). La passione per l'astronomia e la natura mi ha portato ad esplorare un po' tutti i campi della fotografia, astrofotografia al telescopio, macro, cerimonie di amici, ma quella che mi piace di più e la fotografia naturalistica, che pratico fin dal 1984!
Dopo un periodo misto analogico-digitale (scatti su pellicola e successivo passaggio su scanner di qualità), visto i buoni risultati raggiunti dal digitale, nel 2011 mi sono convertito al digitale pure io, anche se ogni tanto faccio ancora lavorare le mie vecchiette!
