Pros: Nobody..

Cons: ridiculous duration cost.

Opinion: It's not a great battery. It lasts little and costs too much. I got some bigger batteries on aliexpress and they last longer. but they do not mark the discharge in the display. so at a certain point the car turns off .. But they cost the 5th part. so for the price of an original one I took 4 batteries and a 2-seater charger. and I use practically only those..

sigma_150-600cSigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM C

Pros: Sharp, customizable, very well stabilized, the price in the second-hand

Cons: Short bracket, cheap lens cap

Opinion: Having been able to compare it to the tamron 150 600 VG 1 I can give my opinion on the difference between the two. Little... they are really very comparable... The Sigma has slightly more battered colors, a very small more definition, but very minimal. maybe 2% and it is noticeable only by enlarging the file by 20 times... while the tamrom is slightly brighter.. a half stop.. Both tried on a tripod, with the same parameters and self-timer, photographing a postcard with frayed edges... The autofocus instead at least in my 2 is better than the sigma .. but only slightly. but being customizable that of the sigma maybe you can do better... I don't know.. I don't have the Doc Station.. I find the stabilization phantastic... of both. I took a very sharp photo of the Postcard with 1/160 to 600 mm focal length. Now I have to decide which one to sell and it will be a very hard choice... The tamron on an aesthetic level is a little more refined. beauteously.. The front cap has a beautiful large silver writing, while that of the sigma in addition to a lowercase embossed writing, seems to have come out of AliExpress for 3 euros. And the Tamron has a better bracket at the construction level, with easier insertion, removal and in the stand seems to be more stable, being a couple of cm longer .. while the sigma has more options. an important one is the Focus MO option which allows you to focus even by hand while there is active autofocus. You can also do this with the Tamron. but every now and then you hear a rubbing noise if you do it. with the sigma no.. and the others the customization of the focus, the stabilization and the focus distance. Of course with PC and DOC Station.. You can both find from 550 to 650 euros. and it is a good figure for the quality they offer. Tried on R8 and they both work perfectly and don't pulsate in vacuum focus in servo focus. They're not as fast as in One Shot. but generally out of 10 rows in burst at least 7 are in focus, sometimes even all 10 for both lenses... They cost about the same amount and are actually very similar. The sigma of the Tamron might seem more contrasted. but in my opinion it's a matter of brightness .. The Tamron is slightly brighter. And therefore the sigma could seem more contrasty. but I don't think it is... not from my trials. One thing I noticed is that it has a slight greater depth of field than the Tamron at the same aperture of course.. I pulled out about the same details from the tests. In the sigmoid I had the idea that frayed edge hairs... finer hair.. were slightly better noticed.. but it is really an unappreciable difference on the global shot of the photograph... Whichever of the 2 you choose, you have chosen well. Then clearly there could be some specimens that differ more. not my two...

canon_rf600_f11Canon RF 600mm f/11 IS STM

Pros: Sharpness, lightness, ring options, excellent stabilization, lightning-fast focus

Cons: For now no one, knowing what you take... Maybe the fact that the collar is missing, but if you have a tripod with the head that flips over, you're good to go.

Opinion: I was really hesitant to buy this lens, but then, to finally have a super light and RF telephoto lens, which I needed for the genre I love, I got it. I take a photo of a subject that I use to evaluate the sharpness of my optics and surprise surprise it is Very sharp... !! The same photo taken with the tamron vg1 150 600 or with the canon ef 300mm L f4 duplicated with kenko, is not comparable. The 600mm F11 wins by a landslide! Incredible stabilization, remarkable sharpness, impressive lightness and for 500 euros. (used.. ) Ok, it needs enough light, but for where I photograph it's fine and anyway it's not as dark as I thought. In fact, with the same aperture and shutter speed, it gains one stop compared to the Tamron. But you can perceive that it is not so dark, already when you frame, look at the ISO and see that they are not so high, as I had read around.. Of course many people shoot zero without even trying a thing... bah.. ! Just look at the photographs in the Gallery below to get a better idea of the lens... and being necessarily combined with an R series camera that keep the high ISO much more than the reflex cameras, the combined given the price is a good start ...

sony_gtough64gb_sdxc

Pros: Excellent sd card 300mb per second reading and 299 write .. Formidable.. !

Cons: Slightly thicker than the others and it is a little more difficult to insert it. but no big deal.. The cost.. they cost a lot.. better if it is used..

Opinion: Great card ! durable and say the world's fastest in writing.. 299 MB per second. Used 32 gb socket for 25 euros.. otherwise it cost more than twice as much... I use it on R8 and it's essential to be able to photograph decently. having the R8 a slow write buffer.. With the Tough things get better. Sony helping Canon..

canon_eos_r8Canon EOS R8

Pros: Quality files.. light.. good simplicity of the menu.. Lots of features. Adapter EF/R .. really good autofocus.. touch screen really very responsive, like a high quality smartphone .. it also has the "focus stacking in camera" (final result only in jpg but saves the individual raw shots if you want to deal with the pc later) and the Pre-Burst in Raw and this is no small thing.. In addition, there is the Dual Pixel Raw which, combined with the crop of the sensor to bring the typical image closer to an APSC, gives you a file of almost 30MB but can only be used with slow shooting speed

Cons: Leaving aside the battery life. the feeling of fragility... the awkward position of some buttons and the aperture ring, the impossibility of storing raw continuous shooting and pre-burst both in M/AV/TV/FV and in the personal settings C1 and C2, (in fact when you turn off the camera or switch to another mode, you deactivate the function and you have to go back to the menu to reactivate it ..) The menu button is in an awkward position to recall which forces you to use 2 hands during crosshair programming. (it was enough to put it next to the trash button .. those who make machines do not use machines .. !) or the slow buffer. : the things that I consider most negative is the high and fast overheating of the machine .. and therefore also the warranty extension that was not made for the R8, so 2 years and then you hope ... and the curtain that even if it is there, does not close, a perfect idea to make the sensor gather dust every time you change lenses.

Opinion: After understanding the menu.. have customized it in the best possible way to be able to use it quickly (and you can do it with the possibility of customizing the trio of rear buttons and the 4 of the pad) The photographic result is remarkable .. the pre-shot is effective and does not distort the images, but sometimes there are lines on the tips of the wings that had moved quickly, it seems to be because of the Red out. The burst speed is remarkable. It does not have stabilization but this was known and the controls are not very comfortable. for example the autofocus lock button is uncomfortable and the aperture ring is very uncomfortable, but I imagine that you will get used to it, for now I have not succeeded.. The resistance to high iso is more than good.. With long telephoto lenses it needs the Battery grip that Canon has not provided, because by putting the SD card where the battery is, you would have to remove it to change the card. And so the contacts are different from any other EOS SLR camera. and this has also limited the third-party battery grip that exists but which only has the shutter button and to make it work it must be connected to the camera by a cable between remote control connection and battery grip and you have the advantage of the 2 batteries, since with one you have a really low autonomy and if you use a fluid viewfinder, Focus preview, screen etc etc gets really short. The focus is a huge leap in quality compared to for example an EOS 5 Mark 3 and the pre-shooting is remarkable and this must be emphasized ... Unfortunately it has some limitations and a couple of problems in my opinion immense.. The first is the write speed on the SD card which even with a Sony touhg of 300mb/s leaves the machine unusable for well over 10 seconds after each burst of about 2 seconds with pre-release .. So this is something that needs to be evaluated. While the second (for which I contacted canon who replied that they sell a lot .. so according to that principle the problem for them does not exist ..) is that the R8 overheats like a scare in a short time and freezes the camera .. And after that it becomes a fight between turn off and turn on and shoot, turn off wait , turn on and shoot. Day with 23/24 degrees at 16 after an hour two of the 4 red bars of the thermometer were on and the camera locked the image in the viewfinder and no longer clicked .. and under the screen the plastic was very hot... so I had to turn off the car and wait 10 minutes, then the 2 red bars disappeared .. while the white ones were still lit, I could use it for another 10 minutes. and the temperature rose again. then after about 1 hour and 30 minutes of use the battery ran out and I suspended the session. RCE from which I got it new told me to describe the problem in an email that Canon heard, because according to them it could be or not normal. The problem addressed in the topic entitled "Canon EOS R8 Overheats" suggests that such a powerful processor in such a small body is inevitable to overheat and if you use subject-finding focus or pre-shooting (as for example in birdlife) or dual pixel raw or even the fluid viewfinder, the temperature rises quickly, not to mention the use under the sun (Piedmontese not desert) In short, thanks to the r8 I discovered what makes a sensor or the camera overheat more generally: So in order I think of importance are :P burst, focus, high iso, dual pixel raw and smooth viewfinder .. To improve the problem, you can keep the screen door open or at least undocked. and avoid energy-intensive functions. moreover, with a fan that is applied instead of the screen that at this point must be left open, you can lower it quite quickly, but it is not comfortable. ! Then the curtain does not close when it is turned off and when you change the lens the sensor gets dirty easily Very easily.

tamron_150-600vcTamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD

Pros: Used price, ease of use, good sharpness, excellent color, autofocus is quite fast, good stabilization

Cons: The weight maybe.. The lens hood attachment looks quite fragile, dust could get in easily

Opinion: For the price at which it can be found, it can be attractive. When used with the correct shutter speeds and tripod, the files will be great. otherwise flabby.. The collar with a fairly large attachment bracket is great and the manual autofocus is sweet to use. It's quite heavy but you can still use it freehand even without being a bodybuilder. with faster shutter speeds, of course, it's with the stabilizer on. 2 modes, one for vertical shaking. What happens in the free hand is a more versatile horizontal one for panning. Personally, I also find it very aesthetically pleasing.

canon_35-80iiiCanon EF 35-80mm f/4-5.6 III

Pros: Very light, cheap and with a 9 aperture, it has incredible sharpness. And I'm not kidding...

Cons: No one can find it for 10 euros. and takes the same photos as a 200 lens... and more euros.. Here, the flaw, at least in mine, is that the focus switch has come off. But I put a piece of scotch tape on it and it works the same. And maybe I could even glue it if I wanted to get rid of the tape.

Opinion: I had inherited it together with an old DSLR and I kept it in a drawer because I didn't remember it performing so well. Then I read here that a user says that by closing the aperture the lens becomes sharp and then, what the heck.. I try it... At aperture: 9 I see details of an old postcard that I often use to understand the sharpness of the various optics. Anyway, I saw details of the print that I had never noticed before with other much more expensive and emblazoned optics. I was stunned...! from 7.1 the improvement begins and when the sharpness closes, it increases exponentially... Of course it is a bit limiting to work at f 8 or 9, but if you can this lens at any focal length it makes wonderful photographs and the colors are very beautiful.. Rated 10 !!

canon_70-300is_usm_iiCanon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM II

Pros: Lightweight, stabilized, fast and quiet autofocus and compatible with focal length duplicator

Cons: mine sometimes at 300mm you have to wake up the autofocus, closing the focal length a bit ..

Opinion: Rather bright, contained and light optics, it has a precise and fast autofocus. which in case of low light becomes less fast. But I think almost every lens has this problem.. 9 slats and a nice blur at TA . The quality of the lenses is truly remarkable. I have an old canon ef 100 400 is USM L (first type) and it doesn't have the sharpness of this 70 300.. I'm not crazy about the digital display. while stabilization is very effective ! It is not tropicalized and dust has an easy life to enter, it takes care.

canon_7dCanon 7D

Pros: Simple.. complete.. Internal flash with Master functions. Simple menu.. fast burst.. second-hand price..

Cons: The second card slot is missing. At high ISO there is noise.. Clicking noise..

Opinion: A tank.. indestructible.. as a second camera body, especially for birdlife, it is excellent. 1.6x ratio so you have super tele with normal tele on a full frame. Burst shooting 9 per second.. Good focus.. quite light.. Professional camera with internal flash that acts as master to be able to control other flashes as well. The only flaw is the noise present when exceeding 1000 iso. but probably today it can be removed with software. It has very few artifacts on the edges. for example the 5D mk3 has more.. If it had 10 MPX more, it would still be preferable to any professional camera... As a second body it is ideal. !

canon_50_f1-8stmCanon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM

Pros: Lightweight, colors, blurred, fast focus, sharp.

Cons: Aesthetically it's not that great. The focus seems perpetually indecisive, but when you shoot, it's in focus at the end. Missing Distance Window

Opinion: I got it for a very affordable used price.. I wanted a bright optic and it is.. I wanted good sharpness and it has it. I was hoping for neutral colors and there are.. Only the focus always puzzles me. It always seems like I can't do it, but when you take the picture it's in focus. But maybe this constant weeding consumes the batteries. ? Anyway it's so soft the focus and light the group to move that I think it doesn't affect too much.. You keep it in your pocket and when the light drops dramatically and you don't have the flash behind you. With this lens you can take the photo home without too much trouble. I have another old school 50mm one, but in the end I almost always use this one. If you have to start with a Canon to take photographs and you want to start from a good file level, but there is little money left, used on platforms that allow restitution this is the right lens.

sigma_105macro_osSigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro DG OS HSM

Pros: Bright as hell, fast and silent autofocus, fabulous boken, bold colors, a real super macro and good for most cases.. Apart from the views clearly, exceptional stabilization perhaps one of the most successful Sigma..

Cons: Maybe it's a bit delicate. You immediately understand that if you fall it's doomed. it must be treated with care. They say to turn off the stabilization before turning off the machine. I never remember to do it and so far he hasn't complained. but apart from this other defects it has none..

Opinion: A real macro from details and it is one of those lenses that you regret not having on the camera when you get the shot of the day, the focus is precise and fast, it hesitates a bit at minimum distances but you just have to move the frame and find the maf.. and fabulous stabilization.. The colors are saturated and the contours are sharp, great optics ! Used can be found at good figures.. New costs a lot..

canon_24-105stmCanon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM

Pros: Sharp, bright, fairly fast and very precise autofocus, precise and pleasant manual focusing, natural colors, among the most natural seen in my lenses. Excellent stabilization and aesthetically pleasing

Cons: a slight movement of the front piece, but does not affect the photographs

Opinion: An excellent lens, taken used and paid the right amount, it is giving me good satisfaction, it has no particular aberrations and makes a good impression on the machine, an excellent all-rounder .. Sometimes I go out with a backpack full of lenses and this one mounted on the EOS and in the end it stays there for the whole day, not letting you hear the changes in light and settings. Already at full aperture it is sufficiently sharp on the whole photo and tightening even a little gives the best.. I would definitely take it again, value for money , great.. And maybe it doesn't get any better.. They had suggested it to me among many and I am happy to have listened to the suggestion !

canon_5d3Canon 5D Mark III

Pros: File.. Colors.. ISO can be used up to 3000 without major regrets. Programmable keys... 3 types of raw.. Customizable menus and buttons. adequate screen... ergonomics.. Grip.. velocity.. Tropical.. Robust.. Shutter noises too good.. Accessories available at very low prices. handle type battery, wrap-around cases, batteries etc etc..

Cons: It doesn't have any! at least as far as I could see. Maybe if you really have to find something for him... I would have liked a third wheel opposed to the upper front one for the apertures, but there is the one of the rear set that compensates.. and maybe a customizable viewfinder.. and maybe the buffer which is definitely not the fastest in existence. Today's ones allow for multiple consecutive shots in RAW. The autofocus is not very suitable for birdlife, if there is no contrast it tends to lose the subject, of course it also depends on the lens used.

Opinion: Fantastic!!!!!!! Really fantastic camera, I got it used after a 400D and 40D, I also used them and it amazed me and made me want to look for fantastic shots. It consumes normally and in any case depends a lot on the lens used and the time the screen is turned on as well as its brightness. It produces files large enough to be able to crop big, the raw (full, medium and narrow) are really workable all of them well. It has all the important functions and the keys are programmable. With Magic Lantern installed, the functions are amplified with customizations that become enormous even for photography, the video sector does not interest me. Precise soft trigger keys, perfect weight, fantastic grip! in short, the ultimate camera for those who love photography..!

sigma_17-70macroSigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC Macro

Pros: lightness.. handiness.. faithful colors.. superlative sharpness in the center..

Cons: Slight loss of sharpness at the edges. but light.. And you can't use it with FF it's for APSC sensors

Opinion: An optics that amazed me. Compared with other lenses, even emblazoned, Canon Sigma and Tamron (the latter, the Tamron, is not a great lens.. the one I have.. cheap..) as a color it beats them all.. He is very loyal.. Manual focusing is super easy and super soft. The autofocus is quite fast. It's not USM but it's fine. it's a fabulous macro.. at a low cost. and good on several occasions.. No chromatic aberration and I don't see distortion either. I bought it by mistake.. but in the end it's the one I use the most. I definitely recommend it as the first optic to have, then you can specialize, being careful with the used because you make good deals, yes.. but also very bad.. Buy where you can return them.

sigma_17-70macro_os2Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC OS HSM Macro C

Pros: Handiness.. definition.. color.. versatility.. lightness..

Cons: Nothing apart from that it's not also for ff

Opinion: Unfortunately I don't know how to remove the review because it refers to the sigma 17 70 f2.8 - 4.5.. and not to this one. For this read the other reviews and excuse me..! A fantastic optics to say the least... Compared to other lenses both Sigma and Canon and Tamron and the colors of this lens are more faithful. without chromatic aberrations.. I thought the 105 macro f2.8 OS HSM had good lenses and treated well.. and it has.. but these have a better treatment. I didn't think that at a relative cost, such clean and contrasty images could come out. Maybe the 2 newer sisters will be even better, I don't know.. but this is superb.. If you could also use it on FF it would be the best.. But there must be something wrong. It costs very little for what it offers. I recommend it without hesitation.. !
