![]() | Nikon Z 50mm f/1.8 S Pros: Everything Except Price Cons: The price Opinion: Taken used with 4 years of residual warranty, in May of 2021 (I managed to save 50 eur). I have been using it for 6 months with my z50 (APS-C) as a portrait lens (my favorite genre). Worth all the money spent. Since I have it, it is always in my backpack and there is not a single day that I do not shoot with this lens. Churn out great pictures! => Very GOOD Construction It conveys the impression of great solidity and robustness a definitely "premium" optics. => more than excellent optical quality, Great sharpness already at TA, absence of aberrations, resistance to flare. Like all Z optics it has a great resolution. A LAMA = > Bokeh good, maybe a little nervous (certainly on a FF makes better) and not very pasty. Compared to the classic vintage optics I have it is perhaps too sharp. Anyway I find the Bokeh really enjoyable. Just enough. Neither too exaggerated (soft) to become unmanageable nor too sharp to have to resort to PP. =>AF is very fast and silent = > Excellent versatility. it is a right perspective, with which you can really do all kinds of photos, Portrait, portrait set, street landscape etc. In summary: It is a really PRO perspective, very balanced and precise. You really do everything with it. I would buy it again with my eyes closed. Like all the other products of the z series that I have (as indeed from all the reviews read and listened to), it is balanced, has excellent performance and a VERY favorable value for money. I'm very glad I took it ! ? sent on December 15, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon Z50 Pros: Reflex pro ergonomics, Autofocus, eye tracking, High Iso, dynamic range, fantastic jpg, Z attachment, value for money, very light (397g), Compatible with F optics Cons: to want to find one by force the battery life Opinion: I've had it for 6 months and it's such a beautiful car! I chose mirrorless and non-reflex for two reasons: compactness, and video. I have to say that the choice of this machine could not have been more correct. I chosen it after a long period of comparisons. For me it won on all the cameras I had considered for my budget (fuji sony canon lumix). I did a video review on youtube in I tell us about this. For me it is the APSC currently present on the market with the most favorable quality / price ratio ever. Those few who talk badly about YT haven't tried it. The Z50 excels in all the fundamental aspects: - the excellent hold at the high iso for an apsc - a crazy dynamic range - of really good colors for the jpg - Ergonomics from reflex top Very Light only 397 g. the Body is tropicalized in reflex style with a comfortable handle and rear bump that makes it particularly ergonomic. The hold at high ISO is really amazing for an Apsc thanks to the expeed6 processor. It produces beautiful and very workable files both in the lights and in the Shadows, Autofocus works very well also has the eye and face recognition function that are very useful to me when photographing those two gremlins of my children. The menu is very intuitive, Nikon has always stood out for it. The viewfinder is sharp, has diopters correction and produces a perfect preview of the shot. The sensor is not stabilized but the optics are stabilized and the Digital Image Stabilization is present. The focus peaking is very precise and it is possible to enlarge the image not only in the live view but also in the viewfinder and this allows me to use with great simplicity manual vintage furniture such as the helios 58mm and and the mir 35mm. Video side is perfect : first of all it is 4K, The tipper screen perfectly aligned with the lens. When you register you don't notice that you're not looking in the room. The autofocus is fast, very quiet and precise. The Z-attachment has the largest bayonet diameter on the market and this allows greater light passage to solve more. As for the optics in the kit there is to say that they are optical ladies. We are usually used to thinking that kit optics are ciofeche ... this, however, is not the case with the z50. The 16-50 kit lens while not particularly bright has crazy clarity. Perhaps thanks to attack Z. The machine is compatible with all the Z-series optics and this is a big plus compared to the competitors, because it allows us to enter the Z system in small steps : First I buy the z50, then I buy some optics, then I take a FF, all while preserving the same optical fleet. In the future I could choose to have 2 bodies one aps_c and one FF one for the outputs and one for the studio that share the same optical park. With the FTZ adapter you can use all the lenses with F-mount while preserving the automatisms and this gives us access to an endless fleet of "Used" optics. You can make a respectable kit with an objectively reduced expenditure of 50%. All at a much lower price than the many competitors ... I couldn't be happier with my purchase. sent on June 08, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 VR Pros: Lightweight, great stabilization, super fast autofocus, good image quality Cons: Plasticoso, at 250mm the subject loses depth and "crushes in the scene" Opinion: Excellent optics compared to the price class. I bought it with a lot of mental reservations. I don't like zooms, let alone this kind of telephoto lens. I bought it on the advice of juza photo users and I have to say that I had to review all my prejudices about this type of optics. I took it to take portraits of my two children, to be able to chase them from afar and catch them in "natural" poses while they enjoy playing. Those who have children know that if you try to photograph them closely they will not stand still even 2 seconds and if you manage to block them for more than a second they will take on strange fake poses, with unlikely smiles and faces deformed by a grimace imitating cartoons. As soon as I arrived I did tests at different focal points and various openings, in the garden to plants. I was expecting the classic "beach holiday" zoom good just to photograph the turo seagull from the deckchairs under the August sun at noon. But it was a pleasant discovery. The photos taken were taken on purpose with a faint late January sun half an hour before sunset in the shaded area. Also tested at 7.30 am on a rainy day. Result? More than great for the price paid! The photos are sharp, well contrasted and not at all dark indeed the raw that come out are of excellent quality. At the end of the opening there is also a decent blurry (certainly not comparable to a fixed lens but still superior to other zooms in the same category). In addition, it is very light, perfectly respects the logic of the z series (excellent performance and minimum clutter). Up to 125 mm the subject maintains an accentuated olto three-dimensionality but at the maximum focal at 250mm the subject loses depth and "crushes in the scene" but this is a defect of all very long focals. If you need a zoom for dynamic shooting situations where you can't get close to the subject, it's ideal. It costs little (new around 400 euros but refurbished guaranteed Nital or used RCE is located at 300), has an excellent yield, it is light. At this price there is nothing better. To then level up you have to spend a lot more money, and unless you have to do special work where you need a diaphragm at 2.8 (like weddings) this zoom is ideal for most situations (Photojournalism, Nature, portraits, sports, etc.). Recommended! I allege test photos (without creative value) to different openings and focals to evaluate their image quality I uploaded some similar photos (same subject and composition) to different diaphragms just to show how the lens behaves It was considerably higher than my expectations! sent on February 10, 2021 |
![]() | Zenit Helios 44M-6 58mm f/2.0 Pros: Solid construction all glass and metal, blurry crazy Swirly effect, sharpness, brightness in general clean colors, row back. Cons: Flare, difficult manual focus at full aperture (f/2.8 f/2), Opinion: In 1993 and 1994 following a two-month trip to Russia for university study reasons, I purchased 2 zenith cameras two of these 58mm focal lens designed is a rare 35mm MIR (also Russian-made). I was only 20 years old and those two Devices gave me a lot of fun, and helped me escape in moments of discouragement. After the university they ended up together with all the books, in the cellar for over 30 years. Recently (also thanks to the lockdown) I rediscovered the passion for photos and attending Juza Photo I discovered that many recycled these old optics. I wanted to try it, too. Two Sundays ago I went down to the cellar and under a mountain of dust I found them. I bought a Globe-urth adapter for nikon z m42 on Amazon for just over 35€ And now I have tested them. In particular this 58mm of the Zenit Helyos looks really cool as they say. I think it's an Optics to have in your kit. Considering then that it doesn't really cost anything. Especially if you like the vintage effect. Hilarious. It gives fantastic shots ideal for creative effects and if you try to give a little vintage taste to your photos it is just what it takes. Pretty crisp at full opening, great at f/4. Blurry crazy, already at f/4. Excellent sharpness from f/4 acceptable to f/2 (good for portraits anyway). I put test photos in very particular light and reflection lighting floor reflective white gloss and sunlight coming from the balcony. I also put a caption in the photos to allow a quick evaluation.... I hope you will forgive if the MaF is not very precise but it is the first time that I have been smoking in manual (since 1996) Anyway How you can see the lens behaves very well sent on February 10, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8 G Pros: Cost, blurry, Image Quality, Lightness, Price Cons: Noisy autofocus, Plasticoso (but this makes it light) Opinion: This lens was the third purchase after 50mm and kit zooming in. It was my favorite lens on reflex (d3200) and it still is despite switching to ML. I use it on the z50 with the ftz adapter. The optics are lightweight and have a fairly fast autofocus (not at the level of z-optics but discrete) and precise. Use for portrait and street. It's my election lens and I always take it with me. It weighs very little has a nice Bokeh and good sharpness. You can really do anything about it. In my gallery practically 80% of the photos are made with this lens. It is one of those lenses that should NEVER be missing. It returns wonderful shots and costs very little. sent on February 07, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S 35mm f/1.8G Pros: Light, crisp, and with a great bokeh. Cons: AF not particularly suitable for video Opinion: At the moment it's my absolute favorite optics. Suitable for both portraiture and street photography. It also returns crazy shots on dated cameras. I recently switched to Nikon z50 and even now I do not separate, I always carry it in my backpack with me with the ftz adapter. Autofocus is a bit slow compared to z optics so I don't use it for videos. It is a lens to have absolutely. The cost for what from is good compared to the competition. sent on January 19, 2021 |
