![]() | Fujifilm X-H2 Pros: Image quality, AF-C, build quality, speed, improved WB Cons: Display, worse ergonomics than H1 Opinion: Overall it is a very high-quality machine. For sport it is great. After the latest updates ALL the dials are editable and thanks to this, even the ISO can be managed via the dial of our choice. The high ISO hold is not bad, on the contrary. The viewfinder is top. Too bad for the display rotation system (worse than the H1), it seems more intended for videomakers. Putting a double slot is a good idea but I don't understand why putting a CFb and an SD, it would have made more sense to have either two slots for two CFs or for two SDs. Ergonomics "worsened" compared to H1. Charging via USB C saves lives. I'm waiting to pick up the FT-XH File Transmitter Grip and there will really be the breakthrough. sent on January 16, 2025 |

![]() | Fujifilm XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR Pros: Good sharpness, zoom ring, aperture ring Cons: Focus in less than perfect light conditions, lens hood to be used only as a bumper, WEIGHT Opinion: It's definitely a premium lens, you'll see that when you try it. I've been working there for years and I feel great about it. The absence of stabilization, for what I have to do, is not a problem. In general for event and sports photography (when you need a wide-angle lens), it's a perfect lens. The only thing that has always made me turn up my nose is the high weight, especially if you don't use a BG the machine will have no ergonomics and will be difficult to hold. sent on May 08, 2024 |
![]() | Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Pros: f1.4, built better than "younger brother" (1.8) Cons: AF, noise, sharpness, no stabilization, no tropicalization Opinion: I had it for a couple of months, used with the old 5D Old. The images obtained were yes, good, but not excellent. Excessively noisy and really slow in hooking the subject, even during the day! Paradoxically I found myself better with the fifty 1.8 (tried by friends a few times). In conclusion, I want to hope that I bought it defective, because I do not think that Canon does such approximate things sent on April 27, 2022 |
![]() | Yongnuo YN 35mm f/2 Pros: Price, f2, weight Cons: Sharpness at f2, plastic and glass of poor quality Opinion: It was my first fixed lens, bought for just over 50€. Little to say: from a lens that costs so little you can not expect an incredible yield. Churn out some cute photographs to put on social media. It's a lens to buy to understand a little what it means to shoot with a fixed 35. Given the negligible cost, despite having increased over time at least twice as much, I recommend it for those who are just starting out or for those who do not want to carry around something more expensive. sent on April 27, 2022 |
![]() | Canon 5D Mark II Pros: Robustness, tropicalization, raw quality, discrete ISO sensitivity Cons: Weight, single CF slot Opinion: I used this machine a lot for work and for the pleasure of doing it. It currently has 280,000 shots and still goes that is a wonder (despite this I decided to replace it with a Fujifilm X-T1 since I am changing the system precisely because, given the high number of shots, it could leave me at any moment). Up to 3200ISO is more than usable. It was my main camera in all respects. I am very fond of it. sent on April 27, 2022 |
![]() | Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM Pros: Sharpness, bokeh, aperture Cons: Weight, not tropicalized Opinion: It is undoubtedly the telephoto lens par excellence! It seems, and probably is, indestructible. It has a really high quality, even today, in 2022 it meets all my needs. In the portrait it is something unique. Of course, it weighs more than a kilo, but having always used it with equally heavy cameras and with respective battery grip, in the end, it is almost comfortable. Anyway, it is so pleasant and satisfying the result that the defects take a back seat. It's just a shame that it's not tropicalized, unlike its Fujifilm counterpart (50-140 f/2.8). Really recommended! sent on April 27, 2022 |
![]() | Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Pros: Construction, AF, stabilization, tropicalization, zoom ring and focus Cons: weight, sharpness Opinion: I would have expected more sharpness from a Canon L series. However, it was the all-rounder lens par excellence that has accompanied me, to date, during my career as a photographer. Would recommend... do not buy it for more than 550 euros. The weight, despite having included it among the "cons", in fact, having used it with camera bodies equipped with battery grip, has never been an actual problem. Even today, in 2022, to conclude, I consider it a very valid machine, capable of churning out quality rows. In my opinion, usable up to 3200 ISO. sent on April 27, 2022 |
![]() | Canon 5D Pros: RAW quality, intuitive menus, robustness Cons: Weight, noise over 800 ISO, AF Opinion: We take into account that we are talking about a machine that is more than 15 years old. Having made this premise again, for studio photography I think it can be more than fine. Personally I have a pleasant memory of use with this old flagship. The defects I mentioned are certainly noticed by me because I am used to more developed technologies. For less than 200 euros, if I had not switched to Fujifilm, I would probably buy it again, for fun, certainly not for work. sent on April 27, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Pros: All Cons: Diaphragm ring Opinion: We are certainly talking about a masterful lens. Super bright to be a super canvas. It competes with the legendary Canon 70-200 2.8 (which I own and use for years for work). The only negative note that I would like to point out is the fact that the diaphragm ring, in my opinion, should be a little harder, like that of the X100F, to be clear. The complaints about the hood of other users, in my opinion, leave the time they find, ditto the criticisms on noise, for me absent. To photograph football matches I use it in combination with the 1.4x multiplier and it is more than fine. sent on April 27, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm X-H1 Pros: Grip, high ISO, quiet, burst, stabilization, AF Cons: Battery life Opinion: A truly exceptional machine. I use it, mainly, with the 50-140 f/28 (+ 1.4x multiplier) to photograph football matches. Really foolproof and simple to use. Needless to praise the aesthetic beauty of Fuji. The only obvious flaw is the life of the batteries. The purchase of the battery grip is necessary. Mirrorless still valid in 2022! PS: those who complain about weight have never shot with an SLR. sent on April 27, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm X100F Pros: Weight, dimensions, diaphragms ring, colors, lens Cons: battery life, grip Opinion: I had for a couple of years this wonderful machine that I used for pleasure shots. Nothing to say except that it is really great and worth all the money you buy. Superlative image quality to be a compact, also thanks to the lens. as mentioned above, the grip is the only note that made me turn up my nose a bit; for the rest only congratulations. Purchase more than recommended. sent on December 11, 2021 |
![]() | Canon 1Ds Mark II Pros: Excellent file quality, body strength, infinite battery, deadly AF Cons: Complicated Menu at the beginning, noise after 800 ISO Opinion: Before this, as the main body, I used the Canon 5d. A whole other story. It is a tank and the body is well balanced so that you can safely use the 70-200 F. 28 not stabilized even at 1/60 (even less). The 45 focus points are spectacular and you can safely do even sports! The rendition of the on-screen photos is something upsetting, really. Before speaking you have to try it, many criticize it only by looking at the release date (2004). The fact that the display is small in fact, for me, has never represented a real problem problem. The noise at ISO 800, as mentioned in the "Cons" section is a flaw, yes, however it is that absolutely pleasing noise that, often and willingly recreate in the post-production phase or that however with a click on LightRoom will resolve entirely. The main flaw is probably how the menu is set up, but after a while you get used to it. Another thing you have to get used to is the fact that to change the ISO you have to hold down two keys, rather awkward to reach + turn the usual wheel, but also here you get used to it. It has little goodies that, if you do not have them, you do not understand how useful actually are, a very important among these is the lock of the wheel to change the diaphragm. Very comfortable the fact that you can insert two memory cards, stored in a box with an almost hermetic closure! There would be still too much to say. In a single talk: Gold! sent on June 19, 2018 |
![]() | Nikon 1 VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 Pros: Photo Landscape, low distortion, beautiful colors, compact, lightweight Cons: Zoom ring looks delicate to the touch, it is impossible to mount a hood Opinion: It was my first lens on the first camera (Nikon 1 J1). What to say: First Photo Love. It extends a lot and tightens the right one. It's small and so very but very easy to carry in the bag. The top to start, but certainly to continue :) The only big defect I could find is the fact that it is impossible to mount a hood, or rather, it is possible to do so, but 10mm can be seen in the picture, so it can not be used. sent on September 25, 2017 |
![]() | Nikon 1 J1 Pros: Lightweight (When you have her neck you do not feel it); rnIn optimal light conditions, masterpieces can be realized; rnAffectofocus is extremely precise thanks to 135 focus areas; rnMenu of really simple and intuitive settings; rnParco narrow objectives but it's all about: [Wide N ° 1 (10mm), Wide Angle 2 (10-30mm), Wide Angle No. 3 (18.5mm f1.8), Zoom (30-110mm), Telephoto Lens (70 -300mm)]; rnVideo Good (1080p 30fps - 720p 60fps) Still More ... Cons: Not being a FullFrame, in the evening it is not great, but not too "poor"; nothing else; rnVideo in slow motion (1200fps) only and only at 240p, therefore useless; noise over 400 ISO but up to 600 bearable. Video Audio Not Excellent. Lack of an optical viewfinder (but not essential) and lack of a slide.rnrn Opinion: With this jewel I am really finding it right from the memory that, as mentioned above, the car with the goal turns out to be really lightweight and "portable". Thanks to the Nikon 1 J1 I was able to look at what really is the world of photography, also getting results, in my opinion more than positive. rnBut in the "Counter" he said that in non-optimal light conditions, he can not always satisfy, I can assure that for work, I found myself having to take pictures of night football matches (which in itself are difficult even in the daytime) and the results , although not FullFrame, of course, I'm not sorry, but also a flash, though small, powerful enough. To immortalize the subject, always at night, with the help of a tripod and a lot of patience, will come out of the magic photos.rnrnIN CONCLUSION: You see to get such a machine, also by affording your Reflex FullFrame with a thousand functions can always return useful !! rnrnPS. Beingout of business, you find it used at no cost! I bought it, used, at € 150 with the target 10-30! sent on July 31, 2017 |
![]() | Nikon 1 Nikkor VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 Pros: The fluid ring moves the right, really effective stabilization sensor, Excellent sharpness to the maximum of "zoommata" (110). Cons: Lens activation key that, at least personally, once only has so far been stuck, just got a little tap to get it back to work perfectly. Opinion: A really well-constructed lens, as mentioned in the PRO box: Fluid zoom ring the right, really effective stabilizing sensor, Excellent sharpness to the maximum of the "zoommata" (110) .rnrnTraining the sums, I use this lens to work as a photographer For football matches and I must say that I can always find myself well, especially when I get the details that are on the other side of the field. sent on June 24, 2017 |
