Pros: Sharpness, solidity, materials used, focal range

Cons: For some the weight, for me this is not a con either

Opinion: I want to thank Fuji for making the II version of this lens, only in this way I was able to find a used one at human prices. I came from the 16-80 and I was fine with it as long as I didn't use it above 60/70 mm so in terms of focal range I didn't feel the difference. It has an exceptional quality of materials, solid and robust. It is a pleasure to assemble it and carry it around. It has nothing to envy to the CANON RF 24-70 f/2.8 I had and with the 10-24 I can take 90% of the landscape photos. The performance is already good at 2.8 but by aperturing by one stop it becomes excellent over the entire frame. It is not stabilized but the machine is. For me, 200 grams of difference compared to the old model are not discriminatory, with the difference in price I paid for two years of gym.

Pros: Sharpness, solidity, materials used, focal range

Cons: None in my opinion

Opinion: Spectacular optics that now with the release of the II model can be found at excellent prices on the second-hand market. It covers a range of focal lengths perfect for weddings, reportage and landscapes. Quality of materials used for the construction of high quality, professional optics. As also read in another review here on the forum, to buy an optic with the same characteristics as other brands you spend three times as much, with a yield identical to this one. What can I say optics to have absolutely.

Pros: Sharpness, Aperture ring, focal range, fixed f/2.8, construction, weather sealing

Cons: Weight, size

Opinion: Optics to have if you want something that performs at professional levels and is good for doing everything. The f/.2.8 aperture on all focal lengths is a blessing to work on any occasion bringing home the result. The lack of stabilization is eliminated if you have a stabilized camera body. Perhaps the weight and bulk are felt in the long run, but nothing impossible or unmanageable. Perfect optics for any situation, from landscape to reportage, to portrait. I think I will hardly detach it from my T4

Pros: Like everyone else: optical quality and reliability. Contrary to all: THE WEIGHT and the COST (and I would also add the DIMENSIONS)

Cons: If you start from the idea that you wanted to buy a zoom that covers you 24-82 with constant f/2.8: NONE

Opinion: I've been using it for several months and I'm totally satisfied, on the road it's not true that it's heavy (on the T-30II total 1070 grams real, on the X-PRO3 total 1192 grams real) as in the interiors (with 2.8 and a bit of ISO there are no limits). Tropicalized indeed, with top-notch optical quality and made almost to military specifications. But the reason why I felt the need to include this review is that what I read in many of the previous reviews does not seem well thought out, as the weight and cost are always indicated in the "cons", and here I explain: this lens costs about 1100 euros and weighs 655 g; But have you seen how much the similar Zoom of other brands cost and weigh? Ok, I'll save you the trouble and I'll tell you: CANON RF 24-70 f/2.8 2449 euros and 900 g: NIKON Z 24-70 f/2.8 2188 euros and 805 g; PANASONIC LUMIX S PRO 24-70 1989 euros and 935 g....... And I'll stop there. So, in the light of these data, if you still think about the cost and the weight.... well! Better to sell it and replace it with three f/2s. I personally am sorry that it is about to go out of production.

Pros: Good sharpness, zoom ring, aperture ring

Cons: Focus in less than perfect light conditions, lens hood to be used only as a bumper, WEIGHT

Opinion: It's definitely a premium lens, you'll see that when you try it. I've been working there for years and I feel great about it. The absence of stabilization, for what I have to do, is not a problem. In general for event and sports photography (when you need a wide-angle lens), it's a perfect lens. The only thing that has always made me turn up my nose is the high weight, especially if you don't use a BG the machine will have no ergonomics and will be difficult to hold.
