canon_rf50_f1-8stmCanon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM

Pros: Practical light sharp and economical

Cons: no hood

Opinion: Optics that are well suited on FF and Aps-c. One might think, given the low price, of a not good quality and yield, instead it is an excellent optics that for practicality of use and transport should not be missing in the kit of a photographer. A TA already has a good sharpness, perhaps just soft enough that does not hurt for portraits and blur, but just close at f2.8 and the sharpness becomes excellent, even excellent at f4. Excellent color rendering as Canon mom has accustomed us. Chromatic aberration little noticeable and cmq nothing uncorrectable in pp. The only negative aspect is the lack of the hood in the package that if one wants, must be purchased separately. In conclusion, it is a handy lens with excellent performance that for size and weight, you mount it on your mirrorless and carry it around without transport problems.

dji_air_2sDJI Air 2S

Pros: Excellent photo and video quality, still today the drone with the best price/performance compromise

Cons: It is not known whether it will receive the retroactive class marking. Lack of side anti-collision sensors.

Opinion: The DJI Air2s is for me still the drone with the best price / performance ratio. It has an excellent 1" inch sensor that even in unfavorable conditions of low light, gives excellent performance both in photos and videos. If we wanted to find a couple of defects, one is certainly the lack of side collision sensors (so watch out when you do the orbits, to obstacles) and then there would be the one that like all DJI drones takes pictures in the 4: 3 format and not in the classic 2: 3 format. Thanks to the release by Dji to third parties of the SDKs, it is possible to pilot the Ari2S with alternative apps to the official Dji Fly app, such as Litchi, Dronelink, and or apps for photogrammetry... etc.. Even in strong winds, the drone holds up well to gusts and is very stable. The various assisted flight modes present in Dji Fly, guarantee excellent and spectacular video footage. The Cam can rotate upwards up to only +30 °, so in taking 360 ° panoramic photos it is not able to capture the portion of the sky at the top, which is summarily added by the software without taking into account any clouds and sun present on stage, and it is necessary to intervene in post production with special graphic editors that manage 360 ° photos (in this regard I suggest Affinity photo 2) to correctly integrate the portion of missing sky. Ultimately it is still an excellent drone that is not affected by the time passed (already 2 years) from its marketing and that (hopefully) will receive the class marking (in force from 1 January 2024) and still give a lot of satisfaction to its owners both in the recreational and working fields.

canon_70-200_f2-8_v2Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM

Pros: Exceptional colors, Sharpness, Stabilizer, AF, Tropicalized, bokeh.

Cons: The sacrifice of weight

Opinion: It is an exceptional lens for sharpness, at all apertures and focal lengths, of excellent build quality, with excellent stabilization that effectively helps in shooting and a very fast Autofocus. Its only fault is the weight it affects during transport and use. Weight to which we need to get used to and train the muscles, but the results obtained from him, amply repay the effort. You can easily work with it freehand, thanks to the excellent stabilization, but a monopod is always better to have it with you. The cost? I took it used on rce at a great price just over 1000 euros. It is one of those optics that must be part of your photographic kit, suitable for every photographic genre, from landscape and portraitist to sport and birdlife. It has the advantage, unlike the RF counterpart that increases the focal range does not increase in size, the movement of the lenses is all internal. The zoom dial is nice and precise. It is a lens suitable for use even for videomakers where obviously freehand use is not recommended and you have to rely either on a stabilizer (for example the Dji Ronin RS3 holds it well) or on the tripod. The hood can be mounted upside down on itself so as not to have the bulk in the backpack. It's a Top lens and deserves my 10

canon_rf24-70_f2-8Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 L IS USM

Pros: Sharpness, bokeh, 8-stop stabilization with mirrorless compatible. Tropicalized. 18-point light points

Cons: the Cost, but worth them all the money spent to buy it

Opinion: It is a lens to say the least fantastic, you remain open-mouthed for its sharpness on the whole frame and at all focal lengths and apertures. It is one of those optics that remains indispensable for life. It has a beautiful bokeh and in combination with compatible mirrorless (for example I have the Canon R6MarkII reviewed here: https://www.juzaphoto.com/recensione.php?l=it&t=canon_eos_r6ii ) comes to 8 native stops of image stabilization, managing to shoot handheld even in those conditions that previously allowed you only the tripod. Also for me it is the best 24-70 ever produced by Canon ... The weight? You get used to it quickly and do not create fatigue problems even after long intense work sessions. Even the flares (which someone complained about) I found them well corrected by the anti-reflective treatment. Truly responsive and fast and quiet autofocus does not transmit noise to the chassis for video shooting. The additional customizable dial is a useful plus to assign commands to the need. Being an L series (badge of the red ring) it is tropicalized. For lovers of night photos, in the light points, it makes beautiful and sharp 18-pointed stars. The only negative aspect is the cost (well 2499 euros, but with Canon's Winter cashback you recover 150 euros) but I can assure you that it is worth all the money spent to buy it. canon_eos_r6iiCanon EOS R6 Mark II

Pros: Excellent throughout. Sensor protection system against dust at lens change. Programmable bulb. Focus bracketing. Absent low-pass filter

Cons: New proprietary pin flash shoe. Maximum bracketing of 7 shots

Opinion: I received the Canon R6 mark II a few weeks ago, thanks to FotoEma but I can already draw several considerations. Leaving aside the long list of technical characteristics that I am not going to indicate, I will instead focus on my first impressions. For those like me who come from the world of SLRs, the transition to mirroless is such as not to go back, the advantages far exceed the most optimistic expectations. Also in this R6m2, Canon has implemented a system of protection of the sensor from dust when changing and or removing a lens, which is done by means of a curtain that lowers when the camera is turned off, which can be activated or deactivated via menu item. Among the various positive aspects in the list of Pros: I insert the convenience of programming as much as you want the time of the B pose even beyond the classic 30 seconds. There is the function of Focus Braketing or Bracketing of the focus, which can be set up to 999 shots. There is no low-pass filter, so with all the advantages of greater sharpness that derive from its absence. The camera is excellent in every technical aspect, phenomenal ergonomics, well cared for details, for those already accustomed to Canon menus will not find changes whatsoever. Bright display and viewfinder even under the sun. Fantastic noise holding at high ISO, incredible stabilization with low light that allows handheld shooting in situations previously unthinkable except with the tripod. In this regard, Dpreview has published the tests of the Canon R6 Mark II. you can see them in the appropriate tread here: https://www.juzaphoto.com/topic2.php?l=it&t=4409480 With the Ef-Ef-S-->R adapters SLR lenses can be used, (especially useful for those who have accumulated a certain fleet of lenses over time) while obviously the maximum is obtained with dedicated RF lenses, unfortunately limited in the third-party Canon choice policy. Another positive aspect that brings the world of mirroless is the silence of the shot (completely eliminated for events such as photos in the theater through the appropriate function of the silenced shot) With the latest update of Camera Raw 15.1 Adobe Photoshop the Raw files of this Canon R6 MarkII are perfectly recognized. Ultimately an excellent Canon mirroless, suitable and perfect for all occasions, the automatic AF recognition system of objects and animals is something incredible, really accurate at all focal lengths, not having to worry about what is focused and is sharp or not, allows you to devote attention to other aspects such as composition etc ... Ultimately this Canon mirroless is worth all, but absolutely all, the almost 3 thousand euros of expenditure. If you are still part of the world of Canon SLRs, the transition to the universe of mirroless will bring you only advantages and you will not regret it, and even more so if as good Canon-ists the choice falls on this Canon R6 MarkII which is currently for me the best compromise price / performance, suitable for everyone and for everyone, From the simple photographic hobbyist to the professional. Review update. With regard to the new proprietary shoe equipped with a 12-pin mount, it has been clarified that it is fully compatible in all functions (TTL etc ...) with all the old flash and or transmitter both Canon and third-party ... and you do NOT need to purchase the Canon AD-E1 adapter for such flash accessories etc. Only the new Canon Speedlite eL-5 flashes and the Canon s-10 transmitter can only be used on this 12-pin shoe. in particular I point out that the Canon s-10 transmitter has no internal batteries and takes power directly from the mirroless through the connection of the 12 pins Thank you if you have had the patience to read this brief review of mine. canon_efs_17-55_f2-8Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM

Pros: f2.8 on all focal extensions - Stabilizer - Optical Quality Sharpness - Focal Extension

Cons: Autofocus mechanism noise in videos that can be deleted with external microphone

Opinion: Anyone who buys the Canon 17-55mm f2.8 will buy excellence. It's the best zoom in terms of sharpness even with the aperture diaphragm and in all the focal excursions that Canon has ever done, and the confirmation is given by the fact that even today it is among the most sought-after zoom lenses and appreciated by the various photographers who own Canon Aps-c machine bodies. Very versatile, suitable for all the various photographic needs ranging from the panorama, to the nocturnal to get to the portraits, it is well suited and stands out especially for the fact that keeping the opening of the constant diaphragm of f2.8 also to the focal of 55mm (which corresponds on the fullframes at 88mm) allows you to get a beautiful blurry background in the portraits. I recommend given the importance of the lens, to protect the front lens from scratches fingers powder etc, with a special quality UV filter of 77mm (I recommend the excellent hoya Hoya PRO-1 Digital UV filter). The purchase of the zoom I made from the store of murripatrizia (at the price of 580 euros), is a well-established guarantee of savings compared to other stores of the competition, appreciated the fact that at each purchase you receive a discount voucher to use in the next purchase. Ordered on September 15, arrived on October 5, 2020, thus respecting the timely waiting times of about 20 days indicated by the store for delivery. As for the Canon 17-55 f2.8, some reviews indicate that the autofocus in moving forward or backward, generates a noticeable (albeit very little), mechanism noise.... This is true... and in video footage (if you use the microphone embedded in your Canon) that noise is recorded in the video and you hear it distinctly, but if you use an external microphone, such as the Rode or the Boya or other), I even use the wire microphone found in the smartphone packages) in the video there is absolutely no noise of the mechanism of the autofocus, since the external microphone, unlike the one embedded in the Chassis of the Canon, does not suffer from the acoustic case effect that transmits any kind of noise even those when you touch your reflex, so if you make videos, get a good microphone.
