nikon_18-35gNikon AF-S 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED

Pros: Lightweight, excellent autofocus, sharpness, relative value holding considering that it is an F, tropicalization.

Cons: Real against I do not see. Clear that at 18 twists a thread, but there is the pp for that (or the decentralizable).

Opinion: An excellent lens, which ends up remaining mounted for 90% of situations. The autofocus I find quite fast, and the sharpness on the frame very good. perhaps it conveys a bit that sense of plasticity that the G series have passed on us. probably if I had a D850 it would be a bit too tight, but for my D750 it's fine. I am very pleased. On low focal lengths (around 20) clearly affected by the comparison with both the 20Nikon and especially with the 21Zeiss Distagon, but the latter is a technical masterpiece, little to do. Distortion between 18 and 20 is easily corrected in post production, so it's not a big problem. I find the best to give it to 28mm. Highly recommended anyway.

zeiss_21Zeiss ZE/ZF.2 Distagon T* 21mm f/2.8

Pros: beautiful, precise, micro-tempered, colors, use, superior construction.

Cons: no tropicalization

Opinion: I found it used at a super price. I had quite a few doubts that it was full-manual. in reality the ZF2 attack allows the passage of data to the camera body and therefore it is possible to take advantage of the focus ball that helps and not a little. the manual focus has a really high precision and the ring can be rotated and fixed with ease. needless to dwell on the fact that it is an object done well. because it really is. comparing with the 20nikon (which is a slow lady) is just another thing. someone complains about the caps that it is true that for such an object (new - the new release - it costs 1500euro) they should perhaps be more cared for, but I find them in line with all the others. not to make comparisons, those of sigma art are of the same strength. the metal hood with velvet is libidinous. too bad for the tropicalization that for a landscape lens perhaps should be mandatory by constitution. the weight is what it is, definitely not low. 600gr are not few but it is well balanced and with the excellent handle it does not feel almost. (continuing the comparison, the nikon are 350gr, but very plastic) I really like it so much, I think I will sell the 20nikon, although, I repeat, it is a great lens and brighter.

nikon_afp70-300_ed_vrNikon AF-P 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 E ED VR

Pros: value for money, af speed.

Cons: maybe not quite the maximum sharpness in TA

Opinion: beautiful lens. I needed a canvas not too pushed to accompany the never-more-without 24-105 and I must say that this is the right lens for my taste. I took it the week before the lockdown so I couldn't get out, I tried it with test shots from the balcony. but I really liked it. at TA maybe it is not very sharp, but it is also possible that "the handle" is not perfect :-)) I highly recommend, because it is quietly less than 600 or nital at a little more.

sigma_24-105osSigma 24-105mm f/4 DG OS HSM Art

Pros: Sharp, well built, very high price value.

Cons: the fearsome AF calibration and (perhaps) the weight

Opinion: The lens immediately offers a feeling of robustness and construction with high-end materials. the optics are very sharp but like all sigma (look here on the forum the post of friend hopaccio58) must be calibrated, and the calibration is a break of boxes with few equals. once fixed, however, it becomes a very very valuable tool. the classic never again without. I use it on the D750 and before I used it on D7200 although on APS-C, starting from 36, it was a little too long at the bottom. definitely to recommend.

sigma_18-35_f1-8Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art

Pros: Sharpness. Speed. Construction

Cons: You need to fix it with the USB Dock. maybe the weight.

Opinion: great goal. once settled it's a blade. I used it on the D7200, I was very happy, holding it in my hand ... a feeling of robustness and solidity with few equals. little vignette. at 18mm and TA is very sharp.great lens, confirming that the Art line is really well thought out. architecture and street.
