![]() | TTArtisan APS-C 35mm f/1.4 Pros: small - light - price RICE - excellent mechanics - three-dimensionality Cons: nobody Opinion: a lens from which I had no expectation. I had bought a Fujifilm, and I needed something to put in front of it to see how it was going. In order not to spend 3-400 euros unnecessarily for on native goal, I opted for this: 60 euros new. Never choice was more guessed. I found myself with a small, light lens, with excellent mechanics, pleasant to the touch and that returns an optical quality that you would NEVER expect from 60 euros invested. Clearly at full aperture it is soft and vignette, and it is also right that it is so, otherwise you can not even give a minimum of effect to your shots. Low contrast, but with the right light a three-dimensional effect that once again, I would never have expected. At F2 it is already great, the edges are no longer so soft and the blur remains good, three-dimensionality still good, contrast greatly improved. F4 personally goes a bomb. And in all this it is also coated, I do not know if multi, but coated it is. For 60 euros. Crazy. Value for money among the best ever observed, indeed as far as I'm concerned never seen before. Vote? Well, give me the heretic, but even if it is not as emblazoned as Zeiss or Leica, I give my 9.5 to him all, because of the price, which is a factor that we can not ignore when thinking about buying a new photographic tool. sent on October 24, 2022 |
![]() | Leica D-Lux (Typ 109) Pros: excellent quality of the photos despite the small sensor, 24mm aperture of 1.7, compactness, comfortable focal range, excellent black and white, optical stabilization Cons: ridiculous price, crazy flare, hold nothing regarding dust on the sensor Opinion: Really comfortable machine when traveling, it is super compact and has a quality of files not indifferent, in my opinion much higher than micro 4/3 of the same period. It has several filters to apply in the room, which reflect my tastes and therefore I use and therefore I do not find useless as some people who turn up their noses in front of these options but then do not publish half a photo online if before it has not passed through lightroom. therefore from the artistic point of view and quality it is very capable. As for the cons, unfortunately the lenses seem to have no treatment, since the flare in certain conditions is exaggerated and also of the ugly ones. Then this machine is definitely OVERPRICED, the price on the used market is nothing short of ridiculous for such a product, fragile and with the sensor that you find it covered with dust without the possibility of cleaning it without sending it to assistance by paying. I found it at 300 euros, but honestly I miss this price is worth it. It has an absolutely non-premium feeling, and after finding myself with dust after missing 60 days of use, I really regretted spending money on it. Final judgment: if you want to try it take the Panasonic counterpart, that they throw it next to you and has nothing less than leica marked qzesta sent on September 20, 2022 |
![]() | Sony RX1 Pros: Compactness - 35mm sensor - Zeiss T* lens - Sonnar optical scheme - superb BW Cons: I think it's perfect as it is Opinion: I've been using it for a couple of years, and I find it an exquisite machine. For me it is like an analog camera, that is, it does not have all the functions that you would expect to find in a modern camera, but only those essential to photography. It has a very high quality, it is extremely compact, it has a high quality sensor, and the lens that mounts in front is of an absolute goodness, a Zeiss 35mm T* f2 Sonnar scheme, which allows a detachment and a three-dimensional aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It is perfectly usable already at full aperture, and is really bright, as proof of the excellent treatment of the Zeiss that allows you to have a T number iden tico all F. The only flaw is that it does not have the built-in viewfinder, but you can overcome it by using the excellent external EVF that bends at 90 °, very comfortable. The battery life is poor, but even here you can easily remedy by taking other spare ones, so they are tiny. I think it's the ultimate travel camera, and one of my all-time favorites. sent on June 24, 2022 |
![]() | Voigtlander MFT 25 mm f/0.95 Nokton Pros: construction, brightness, blurred, ability to isolate and detach the subject from the background, usable already at full apeetura, close focus at 0.17m, metal hood ... Cons: ... but with a horrendous shape Opinion: excellent lens, completely in metal, with rings that is a pleasure to operate. very precise focus, among other things able to go up to 17cm. Needless to say how the brightness is fantastic, allowing shots even with dim lights. I was amazed how it is usable even at full opening, which I did not expect. blurred really nice, despite the m43 sensor, you can have really impressive detachments. even with the starry skies, at full opening the coma is really very small, and vanishes completely at only f1.4. what can I say, the umpteenth excellent work by Cosina, a very reliable house in terms of quality objectives, which plays like those Zeiss, which says a lot. sent on April 23, 2022 |
![]() | Olympus OM-D E-M10 Pros: very light, pocket-sized, no AA filter, stabilized light, touchscreen, photo quality. Cons: the grip is a bit at the limit for those with large hands, however solvable with an economical additional grip. Opinion: a crazy car, bought by pure chance. I found myself with a jewel in my hands. usually preferring dlele fullframe or analog 35mm, this I had taken as an experiment, to be used with a magnificent voigtländer 25mm f0.95. in the end the fullframe I gave them away, this one remained. it is small, pocket-sized, really nice design, has the evf, the stabilized sensor, absence of AA filter, tiltable screen, and even the touchscreen. what more could you ask for from a room? the images he can give are among the best I have ever taken, and I have been photographing for 9 years also in the professional field. the colors and the detail that churns out I must be honest, I would NEVER have expected them from such a small sensor. I changed my mind across the board, and frankly I was convinced that the size of the sensors now nom counts for nothing, it's just marketing. I repeat exceptional machine, really portable, not like the mirrorless FF that then in front must mount ridiculous lenses that venify every miniaturization of the body. it goes without saying that for travel it is very suitable, being compact reliable and light. every now and then I think of upgrading it, wanting to sell it to buy who knows what, then in reality I realize every time that I really do not need to ask for anything more than what I am already offered by this wonderful camera. shooting is fun and gives a lot of satisfaction, I don't think I'll ever replace it. sent on April 23, 2022 |
![]() | Sigma SD Quattro Pros: magnificent Foveon sensor; well-robust body; removable IR filter in an instant!!!; monitor divided into two parts super clear, NO VIDEO Cons: SA attack; it is a mirrorless "false"; very weak battery Opinion: Last year I had it for about a month, time to test it and decide whether to keep it or not, I had taken it for this purpose. What to say, a magnificent machine. Starting from the body, it is hyper robust with the keys well reachable and that give excellent feedback. Excellent ergonomics, perhaps a little too pronounced. Wonderful screen clear and visible and divided into two that I find very practical Photo Side: Autofocus is not really at the top, but in short it is still a modern AF of 2016 so it does its duty, nothing dramatic, I do not understand all these photographers who if they do not have precise fire at the slightest touch the button of the shot do not live. Knowing how to focus is a capable one that is apparently being lost. held to ISOs say poor? it really depends on the photographer, 1600 are the limit for color photos, for SW photos there are no limits, but I am one of those who takes the time to take a photograph, and I often ride with the tripod, I use practically only manual optics, so having a slightly slow autofocus when every now and then it is not a problem for me at all , just as it's not shooting at low isos. over 1600 I really go there mooooolto hardly. Whereas for the Foveon sensor I had never had one before. Wow. It's great. It returns results that Bayer dreams of. There are no comparisons at all, indeed I am really sorry that Sigma to date is uncertain about the future of this technology, because if developed it would really bring interesting results. The resolution it returns, the colors, the gradients, the shadows, the dynamic range..... Bayer can never get us to such results, it's in everyone's cameras because it keeps the high ISOs better, that's all! but it's not the best technology, that's clear. Then for someone like me who's in love with BN photography, this machine is something exceptional. If you don't try it you can't really explain it, but the photos are special, they are pleasant to look for the eye all those grays so natural ... Unfortunately I did not keep it because it must be taken into account that it has an attack that is very difficult to make on the market of the new and used, and having a mirrorless kit, and since this sigma is a false mirrorless in the sense that it has a horrible protrusion that can allow it to receive reflex optics I could not even adapt my lenses. However, it remains an excellent machine, able to give shots worthy of the middleform. Rating 9.8 sent on October 17, 2020 |
