![]() | Manfrotto zaino Veloce V (MB SB390-5SW) Pros: Sturdy, padded shoulder straps. Cons: Uncomfortable tripod external mount, better for carrying monopod Opinion: I have been using it since 2019, it is still in good condition, mine is all black, not white like the photo. It contains two camera bodies, one with mounted the Panasonic 100-400, the other with mounted the Panasonic 14 mm, two types of filters, the Olympus 60 mm macro, the Asus E210 13" notebook pc, a dust brush, lens cloths, a knife, the Panasonic booklet of the G9. I use it only for the transport of all the equipment in travel, in the field I prefer the hunter's backpack that allows me to carry everything I need to stay in the mountains with food and complete rain. sent on October 21, 2022 |
![]() | Panasonic G9 Pros: all Cons: nothing Opinion: Purchased in 2018, I can now review. I left Pentax for good, the years pass and the weights become important. I was immediately attracted to the 4/3 format and so I decided. Since I dedicate exclusively to naturalistic photography, I use this machine body with the Panasonic 100-400mm for birdlife, insects and wild animals in general. The G9 is great, I'm not going to describe all the benefits I found in using it, in previous reviews they were expressly cited by everyone. Accustomed to Pentax with the 150-450mm, I feel like I'm shooting in the wild with a compact one. Aesthetically to someone it may seem bad to see a naturalist photographer with a photographic equipment 25 cm long, the little man with camouflage and the 50cm cannon is so attractive. After 2 abundant years of use, I began to have a problem with the handle. I always hold the car in my hand, I never used the strap, so in the heat of summer began to untie the protective rubber of the memory card housing door a little. In fact, this opening of the door is not very practical, the fact is that between the heat and the openings/closures, this has happened. This year I purchased a second G9 machine body, the use with Olympus 60mm macro that I already used for flowers and mushrooms and rarely the Panasonic 14mm for landscapes. sent on April 08, 2021 |
![]() | Pentax D FA 150-450mm f/4.5-5.6 ED DC AW Pros: The quality of the Pentax lens's optical and construction materials Cons: Weight, price Opinion: It was a tough choice with the Pentax 300f4 and the Pentax 1,4x multiplier, and I've always been a supporter of fixed focals. But now I'm happy and happy with the purchase. Great zoom, of course I will use it almost always at 450 mm for bird-mounted mounted Pentax K3 II. To be honest does not seem to me as clear as the 300f4, but still it goes close, even at 450 mm. I tried it with the 1.4x multiplier, no problem. It was the ultimate proof for the purchase, of course in some cases you need to know how to play a little with the underweight / over-exposed. Ultimately with the duplicator I have a 630 mm canvas. In the rowing hunt you also need to get used to weight, with 300f4 it was just another thing. Personally I believe that in the reviews at the end are the photos that are faithful to the opinions, so good vision. sent on May 19, 2017 |
![]() | Pentax HD DA 15mm f/4 ED AL Limited Pros: All except "against" Cons: Tropicalization absent Opinion: In my furniture I was missing a wide-angle. Usually I am shooting of wild animals or do macro. For some landscapes I used a compact Canon. I prefer a fixed focal length, so I decided and I ordered my Pentax 15 mm provider. I had to wait over a month to have it, is not like the one in the photo, mine is black. I fully agree with what reviewed by Bigisbetter. I found a little 'crowded out when I discovered that the front lens cap screw was, new to me. In fact it is inexplicable choosing Pentax not tropicalizzare this goal, the cost was probably there in the list price that seems to be more than 600 €. sent on December 23, 2016 |
![]() | Pentax HD DA AF 1.4x AW Rear Converter Pros: Construction, tropicalization Cons: Price Opinion: Purchased in 2014, the use of the shed on the 300 / f4. I really needed it, so I brought the focus to 420 mm. I would have preferred that Pentax did a 2x, but you can not have everything in life. The first time I put on my k20d with 300 / f4 I was shocked. All made shots were overexposed. I immediately thought of the rip-off, very high cost of 1.4x and a lack of results I expected. usually shot with iris mode, I started to do various experiments until I realized that its use was linked to under-exposure by one stop. It is now a year and a half that I use with great results. My photos in the blog can prove. sent on February 27, 2016 |
![]() | Pentax SMC DA* 300mm f/4.0 ED (IF) SDM Pros: Sharpness, construction, light weight. Cons: limiter AF Opinion: I have this telephoto in 2013, I often use, usually freehand, accommodating stalking, it takes up little space in the backpack in the mountains and its weight is not a problem. To be a f4 yield is magnificent. The thick they match the doubler Pentax 1.4x by using it to shed to small birds with excellent results. Excellent quality / price ratio. sent on February 27, 2016 |
