patona_premium_lp_e6Patona Premium LP-E6

Pros: Price, LP-E6N capacity 14.7 Wh, duration

Cons: nothing

Opinion: I am using this battery on both Canon 6D and Canon 5DMK4. It has 2040 mAh at 7.2V, for a capacity of 14.7 Wh compared to the original Canon LP-E6N which has 1865 mAh at 7.2 V with a capacity of 14 Wh. The result is that the duration is comparable to the original and, after a few years of use, I did not find drastic decreases in yield, which I found instead in the original batteries. Given the really low price accompanied by great features, I recommend these batteries.

canon_adapter_ef_eosmCanon Adattatore Canon EF/EOS M

Pros: Use of EF optics on M bodies while maintaining automatisms

Cons: Price a bit high

Opinion: I purchased a body with M optics for weight reasons, important during long hikes in the mountains. I purchased this adapter to be able to use the EF optical fleet on certain occasions also on the M body, this for having more versatility. I am using this adapter with satisfaction, the files you get with EF optics are higher than with M optics, the yield remains very good. All automatisms are maintained, so ease of use is guaranteed. To consider that using EF targetses on M bodies the outgoing files are 1.6x.

canon_eos_m50Canon EOS M50

Pros: Lightweight, compact, handy, adjustable touch screen, fairly precise AF, good image quality for an APS-C

Cons: Battery (if kept screen on), unstable in settings, difficulty in the backlight

Opinion: She became my travel companion during most of my mountain outings (where keeping light is important, especially at my age), given her lightness accompanied by a decent quality of files that are obtained. It certainly doesn't achieve the quality of the more famous mirrorless R or Reflex D, but it does quite well considering that it is entry level camera. In addition to the very light M optics that allow a very low total weight, through the use of a special Canon EF/M adaptor you can use EF lenses while maintaining all the automatisms (to be taken into account that the output files are 1.6x since it is an APS-C camera). Of course, with EF optics it gains the quality of the image. One flaw I encountered is the settings, they change easily while using the camera without the operator noticing.

canon_5d_mark_ivCanon 5D Mark IV

Pros: Ergonomics, reliability, accuracy, touch screen, good AF, soft RAW, battery life (when used carefully)

Cons: Price a little high, otherwise nothing

Opinion: I went from 6D to 5DMK4 and it was a certainly high quality leap. I've been using it for a few years and so far I haven't found any flaws that made me regret buying it. I am using it with great satisfaction with various Canon and Sigma lenses in various situations and photographic (non-professional) areas and I can get out files that are always good and easily workable. You work quite well even in the backlight. As an amateur I can say that it is a very good body that sins only in the price a little high. Maybe I understand little about it, but in my opinion the dynamic range is excellent, even or even superior to Nikon (I can say this as I was old owner Nikon).

canon_6dCanon 6D

Pros: Reliable, good ergonomics, intuitive use, battery life, very high Q/P ratio

Cons: Inaccurate AF with poor light, sensor that gets dirty with ease

Opinion: I used this machine body for many years with great satisfaction and taking several thousand photos. It is still part of my kit, although alongside other machine bodies, I certainly will not separate it so quickly. Without having entered to squeeze all the available features, I found the 6D versatile, intuitive, quite manageable and the results almost always satisfied me. Negative notes concern the difficulty of focusing with low light, the inaccurate sharpness at the extreme edges of the frame and the ease of obtaining flares in cases of backlight even non-extreme while using quality optics. 6D, however, remains an excellent body, super recommended especially now that it is on the market at very affordable prices.
