Non ricordo quando è stata la prima volta che ho preso in mano la macchina fotografica. Direi piuttosto che ci sono nato. A 20 anni cominciai a fotografare per alcune agenzie, per le quali sono stato in varie parti d'Italia svolgendo servizi nel turismo e nello sport. In seguito ho collaborato con altri fotografi, professionisti e non, creando un humus che mi permettesse di agire nelle vesti di freelance. Nel frattempo ho sempre coltivato la passione per la musica, che ho considerato indiscutibilmente legata alle immagini e più in generale alla percezione del mondo tramite "immagini sonore". Oggi, dopo aver vissuto la fotografia come un mestiere, ho deciso di cambiare rotta, ed addentrarmi in un rapporto più intimista con l'immagine. Questa scelta mi sta riportando alle origini della mia esperienza, recuperando la radice che nella professione sentivo venir meno: per quali ragioni si sceglie di fermare un' immagine?
